As the responsible adult that I am, there was the need to address the lack of a controller for the laptop. I want this thing to last as much as possible and using the keyboard for games isn't exactly the best thing. Neither is using the mouse that much. So, I finally got around what kind of controller to get some weeks ago and purchased this one.
It is a PS4 Dualshock. And it was my Christmas present of this year. As I'm not getting gifts from anywhere else, why not give one to myself. So, the set up needed a emulator to get the thing going and running it's called DS4Windows and it makes the this one get recognized as a X-box controller. It solves many issues games could have with compatibility. This will help make my game runs smoother and save the keyboard and mouse from wearing down.
I gotta say going back to using a controller is weird as I have not had any console since Nintendo 64. But I remember finding Play Station controllers comfortable. Thus, the decision of getting this one. Besides, since I'm not running the newest games, it will do just fine. It was just 17.99$ on Mercado Libre and it came with its chord for charging and using it connected on USB plus it is also wireless connecting through Bluetooth.
Nothing more to add than having fun trying to get good again at playing with this kind of thing!

Como el adulto responsable que soy, me vi en la necesidad de resolver la falta de un mando para jugar en la laptop. Quiero que me dure lo más que se pueda y utilizar el teclado y ratón para los juegos no es exactamente lo más idóneo. Así que, por fin, me decidí por comprar uno hace una semana.
Es un Dualshock de PS4. Fue mi regalo de Navidad adelantado. Como más nadie me va a dar uno, pensé que sería prudente comprarme mi propio regalo. Lo único extra que necesité para hacerlo funcionar fue un emulador llamado DS4Windows. Esto hace que la laptop lo reconozca como un mando de X-box. Esto evia problemas de compatibilidad con algunos juegos. Esto me va a ayudar un montón a grabar los gameplays sin dañar el teclado y ratón.
Debo decir que volver al tema de usar un mando después de años sin tener una consola es algo raro. La última vez que tuve uno propio fue en la era del Nintendo 64. Aunque sí llegué a jugar Play Station varias veces y sus controles me parecían más cómodos. De ahí la idea de adquirir este. Además, como no estoy corriendo los juegos más nuevos del mercado, este control servirá. Costó 17.99$ en Mercado Libre y vino con su cable para cargar y jugar conectado por USB, pero también es inalámbrico y se conecta por Bluetooth.
¡Ahora solo falta volverme bueno jugando con un mando otra vez!
