I'm still getting used to this streaming stuff... I wasn't born with it, and the closest I knew to this contagious type of entertainment were the movie and series apps that use this technology to transmit data with stability and speed. However, thanks to my boyfriend and his friends, (who are football sick) I met LA COBRAAA, an Argentinian streaming company; which according to what you can see in the description of their Twitch and Kick channels, reads as follows: "I am a person who talks about football. A fan of FC Barcelona and of the greatest in history: Messi".
At first it took me a long time to get used to it. His tone of voice is a bit shrill and annoying, but it's impossible not to laugh at his streams. He's an Argentinian guy with a great feeling for his community. Unlike other networks, such as YouTube, both Twitch and Kick are platforms that have better feedback with chat. The interactions are much more direct, and the business model of these companies is based on the views of their registered and unregistered users, and those who pay for monthly subscriptions. In addition, you also have to pay to send audios in the middle of the streams and to be able to give "donations" to the streamers.
Back to why I've decided to make this post, well, it's just for disclosure, In @GeekZone, I don't see much content related to new platforms. And even less in terms of Latin America. It's not a criticism, but the growing community of users and consumers of streams in this region (including Spain and Latin America) is very high. Not in vain, tournaments such as the Kings and Queens League, each year break more and more records in all measurements. Characters like Ibai Llanos, Davoo Xeneize, El Rubius or the protagonist of this post, LA COBRAAA, also has a special place in these media.
Funny, comical, witty and extremely focused, Lautaro del Campo, real name of this Argentinian streamer, is a 27-year-old man from Buenos Aires, Argentina, and a pioneer in his country in terms of Streaming. Along with Momo, he is one of the longest running streamers in a country that, along with Mexico, Colombia and the United States, is one of the countries with the most content creators and public figures year after year. For me, the key to his success and the good acceptance that LA COBRAAA maintains in Latin America, I think it is because no one is more genuine than him..... You just feel like you're talking to a friend about football or whatever comes up.
Besides, he is a guy who knows how to make streams for all ages. I mean, he can be watched by kids, adults, teenagers and kids in their 20's..... And I think that's valuable. While I grew up as a female football lover and supporter, a Real Madrid fan, it's no less true that while LA COBRAAA is a football streamer, it goes much further than that. Sometimes, cinema, music and even life advice are part of the debates. And not forgetting humour of all kinds. From the healthy mockery of the members of the LA COBRAAA community, to donations that show the opinions of all people.
Lastly, I applaud and approve that this type of content is on the rise. Redefining the traditional. So much and so undeniable is the rise of the stream in America (entire continent) that traditional media such as television or radio, have had to redefine their strategies to achieve the massiveness that today governs and is law in the interconnected world of internet 2.0. As this streamer is a current legend of entertainment, football education and laughter, he is excellent, funny and I honestly hope you can judge him: I will leave some funny videos. Cheers, lads!
