Estuve pensando en personajes de videojuegos que de algún se han vuelto iconicos en mi vida, esto gracias a la iniciativa de aliento a la cual no pude llegar a tiempo, aún así me dio una buena idea para un post y es hablar de lo que fue Rayman en mi vida, si, probablemente lo conozcas como el personaje parecido a crash pero no tan famoso... Bueno, sorprendentemente Rayman se creo antes, que loco, toda mi vida fue un engaño.

La mascota abandonada de ubisoft, no tenia idea de que paso con esta saga de videojuegos, luego de que perdí mi nintendo DS hace casi 10 años ni siquiera lo recorde de nuevo, tuve la dicha de pasar horas y horas pasando la historia (muy entretenida por cierto, si mi memoria no falla) del Rayman 2: The Great Escape, estuve investigando y es un titulo sumamente antiguo, hablamos del año 99, es decir que lo jugué una decada después de su lanzamiento y aún era tema de conversación entre mis compañeros con nintendo DS.

Su mundo fantasioso y personajes que de algún modo transmitian felicidad fueron suficiente para enganchar un Edmanuel de 9 años, recuerdo que le tenia mucho cariño especialmente a Globox, un sapo que se suponía era el mejor amigo del personaje principal, ¿por qué sentia afecto por el personaje?, no tengo la más minima idea, es algo como con la saga de Mario y el afecto que le tenemos a Yoshi... Creo que Globox vendría siendo el Yoshi de Rayman 😂. Recuerdo que hice que mis viejos comparan una memoria r4 con otro titulo pero esta vez el "Rayman Raving Rabbids".

Sorprendentemente estos conejitos muy consentidos por ubisoft lograron algo que ningún villano hizo en otros juegos (al menos eso creo), que fue basicamente quitar el protagonismo de el heroe de la historia... Sí, se supone que los Rabbits (muy original nombre para los conejos por cierto) eran los antagonistas de toda la saga, pero fueron mucho más comerciales que el mismo Rayman y sus amigos, llegue a jugar alguna vez una versión para nintento wii donde podias patear y golpear a placer a los Rabbits, quien lo diría, mientras jugaba aquel titulo Rayman estaba en plena decadencia.
Surprisingly these bunnies very spoiled by ubisoft achieved something that no villain did in other games (at least I think so), which was basically to remove the protagonism of the hero of the story... Yes, the Rabbits (very original name for the rabbits by the way) were supposed to be the antagonists of the whole saga, but they were much more commercial than Rayman and his friends, I even played a version for nintento wii where you could kick and hit the Rabbits at will, who would say it, while I was playing that title Rayman was in full decadence. |

El último juego de Rayman fue en 2016 que fue el "Rayman Classic" adaptado para Android, lastimosamente Ubisoft mantiene entre las telarañas al Rayman lo cual desde mi punto de vista es una falta de respeto para un personaje que logró marcar infancias como la mia, porque creanme, ese nintendo ds y Rayman por mucho tiempo fue mi unico entretenimiento posible en esa niñez complicada. Aunque yo no daría todo por perdido, quizá en algún momento anuncien un remake o una continuación a la historia.
The last Rayman game was in 2016 which was the "Rayman Classic" adapted for Android, unfortunately Ubisoft keeps Rayman among the cobwebs which from my point of view is a lack of respect for a character that managed to mark childhoods like mine, because believe me, that nintendo ds and Rayman for a long time was my only possible entertainment in that complicated childhood. Pese a que la saga de juegos esta en el olvido aún hacen algunas menciones como es el caso de brawlhalla, aunque en lo personal me aburre ese titulo... Lo importante es que aún quedan rastros, porque saben que una buena parte de la comunidad gamer siente nostalgia por el personaje, según lo que estuve googleando cada lanzamiento de un juego de Rayman es un total exito, llegando a alcanzar cifras mayores que las obtenidas por los Rabbits.
Despite the fact that the saga of games is in oblivion, they still make some mentions as is the case of brawlhalla, although personally I'm bored with that title... Ahora tengo el plan de emular de algún modo el Rayman Raving Rabbids o quizá el ultimo Rayman Legeds que según estuve viendo en gameplays en la red es una completa joyita, me parece increible la paz que pueden transmitir los backgrounds y la ambientación musical, de verdad que todo estuvo muy bien pensado en el desarrollo de estos juegos y todo gracias al francés Michel Ancel, quien como dato curioso y para cerrar fue nombrado caballero de las artes y la literatura por el Primer Ministro francés, este tipo realmente sabia que estaba haciendo, el creador de Rayman no fue cualquier suertudo.
Now I plan to emulate somehow the Rayman Raving Rabbits or maybe the last Rayman Legeds that according to what I've been seeing in gameplays on the net is a complete jewel, I find incredible the peace that can transmit the backgrounds and the musical ambience, really everything was very well thought in the development of these games and all thanks to the French Michel Ancel, who as a curious fact and to close was named knight of the arts and literature by the French Prime Minister, this guy really knew what he was doing, the creator of Rayman was not just any lucky guy. |
