Greetings dear technology lovers 😀.
Today I had the joy of visiting a store together with my dad. For those who don't know, my dad is a 75 year old person, who 3 weeks ago approximately was the victim of a robbery. He was walking in the middle of downtown at 1:00 PM and was robbed, taking his backpack, some tools and his phone, a Xiaomi which he had already had for a couple of years. The good thing is that they didn't do anything to him.
We are in difficult times and my dad uses his phone to communicate with the few clients he has to generate money. Despite this situation, my brothers called me to arrange to buy him a phone. Two of them sent me the money so that today I could surprise him and buy him a new one. My dad came to my house and I told him to accompany me to the store to find out the price of some models, although I already knew 😂, but the idea was to take him to buy it.

Hoy tuve la dicha de visitar una tienda junto a mi papá. Para los que no saben, mi papá es una persona de 75 años, que hace 3 semanas aproximadamente fue víctima de un robo. El iba caminando en pleno centro de la ciudad a la 1:00 PM y le robaron, quitándole su mochila, algunas herramientas y su teléfono, un Xiaomi con el cual ya tenía par de años. Lo bueno es que a él no le hicieron nada.
Estamos en tiempos difíciles y mi papá con su teléfono se comunica con los pocos clientes que tiene para generar dinero. Pese a esta situación mis hermanos me llamaron para coordinar comprarle un teléfono. Dos de ellos me enviaron el dinero para que hoy pudiera sorprenderlo y comprarle uno nuevo. Mi papá llegó a mi casa y le dije que me acompañara a la tienda a averiguar precio de algunos modelos, aunque ya yo sabía 😂, pero la idea era llevarlo para comprarlo.

Being in the store, I took some pictures 😁 to share with you, I also took one to my dad with a blank face. He had already inquired about some models and told me he wanted an Infinix Note 30 pro with 8+8 GB Ram and 256 GB Storage, with Amoled display and stereo sound. I wanted a Xiaomi Note 12 pro for him, however he told me he didn't want Xiaomi anymore and in terms of features and price, there really wasn't much difference, according to me. So I let him choose the one he wanted.
The best part was, when my husband arrived, to also see the specs. While he was arriving, we went to the iPhone area and I also took a picture. And when he already arrived and saw a few things, I told my dad that my brothers had sent the money and that we were actually there to buy him a new phone. So he was very excited and without hesitation accepted his gift. As we left the store, my dad felt some fear 😔 I hope he will soon get over that very unpleasant situation he experienced and he can feel safe again to go out in the street. In the meantime, I am left with his face full of joy at having his new phone in his hands.
Estando en la tienda, tomé algunas fotografías 😁 para compartir con ustedes, también le tomé una a mi papá con cara de no saber nada. Él ya había averiguado sobre algunos modelos y me dijo que quería un Infinix Note 30 pro de 8+8 GB de Ram y 256 GB de Almacenamiento, con pantalla Amoled y sonido estéreo. Yo quería un Xiaomi Note 12 pro para él, sin embargo él me dijo que ya no quería Xiaomi y en cuanto a características y precio, la verdad no había mucha diferencia, según yo. Así que lo dejé elegir el que el quería.
La mejor parte fue, cuando llegó mi esposo, para ver también las especificaciones. Mientras él llegaba, fuimos a la zona de iPhone y también tomé una fotografía. Y cuando ya llegó y vió algunas cosas, le dije a mi papá que mis hermanos habían enviado el dinero y que en realidad estábamos allí para comprarle un teléfono nuevo. Así que él se emocionó mucho y sin dudarlo aceptó su regalo. Al salir de la tienda, mi papá sintió algo de miedo 😔 espero que pronto supere esa situación tan desagradable que vivió y que pueda sentirse de nuevo seguro al salir a la calle. Mientras tanto, me quedo con su cara llena de alegría al tener su nuevo teléfono en las manos.
