Hello, everyone. I recently managed to add a game to my Steam library that I hadn't played in literally years. I'm talking about Age of Empires II.

Maybe many of you know this game or are familiar with it. The truth is that, as a niche gamer and teenager, I spent many hours playing it and became an expert, so to speak. I used to spend my afternoons after school playing Age of Empires.

Saludos amigos. Hace poco logré añadir a mi biblioteca de Steam un juego que tenia literalmente años sin jugar. Me refiero a Age of Empires II.

Quizás mucho conozcan este juego o estén familiarizados con este. Lo cierto es que yo de nicho y adolescente llegué a jugarlo durante muchas horas y me volví un experto por decirlo así. Pasaba las tardes después del colegio jugando a los imperios.

Well, I could have bought it on Steam, but they had a Definitive Edition there, with a ton of updates and new features that the game didn't have back then.

Of course, the game isn’t exactly cheap if you think about it. However, it’s on sale until April 30, which is great because the price drops from $19.99 to just $6.99. I say “just” because it’s a pretty significant discount, although sometimes you have to think twice about spending any amount of your budget, especially if you haven’t set it aside for games.

Pues bien, en Steam lo podía comprar, sin embargo ahí tenían una Definitive Edition, con un montón de actualizaciones y cosas nuevas que no tenía el juego en aquellos años.

Por supuesto, el juego no es tan barato si lo piensan bien. Sin embargo, hasta el 30 de abril se encuentra en oferta, algo genial porque el juego pasa de 19,99 USD a costar solamente 6.99 USD. Digo solamente porque es una rebaja bastante considerable, aunque a veces hay que pensárselos para gastar cualquier cantidad de nuestro presupuesto, más si no lo tenemos destinado para juegos.

Take a look at what the game includes—it features the expansions Dawn of the Dukes, Dynasties of India, and Lords of the West. These expansions add new civilizations, campaigns, and maps. This is fantastic because it will give me access to many more types of games instead of the limited selection available back then, such as those featuring Moctezuma, El Cid, Saladin, and a few others you might remember.

Fíjense lo que contiene el juego, tiene las expansiones Dawn of the dukes, Dynasties of india y Lords of the west. Son expansiones que añade nuevas civilizaciones, campañas y mapas. Esto es algo buenísimo porque me permitirá acceder a muchos otros tipos de juegos en lugar de las pocas que había en aquellos tiempos, como la de Moctezuma, El Cid, Saladino y alguna otra que recordarán.

After doing the math, I made up my mind and bought it. As you can see, I already have it in my library, and it only takes up a little over 15 GB, so I can play it alongside other games I already own and still keep some space free on my hard drive.

Después de sacar cuentas, decidí y me lo compré. Como pueden ver ya lo tengo en mi biblioteca y solo ocupa poco más de 15 GB, así que puedo jugarlo simultáneamente con otros juegos que ya tengo y mantener algo de espacio en mi disco.
