Hello, everyone. Last week, I shared with you the first of three videos featuring Claire’s story mode in Resident Evil 2, a gameplay run parallel to the one we did with Leon.

Although there are some differences, playing as Claire is very similar to playing as Leon when it comes to enemies. We face the same pesky zombies that are always causing trouble.

Saludos amigos. La semana pasada compartí con ustedes el primero de tres videos del modo historia con Claire en Resident Evil 2, un modo de juego paralelo al que ya hicimos con Leon.

Aunque con ciertas diferencias, el juego con Claire es muy similar al de leon en lo que respecta a enemigos. Nos enfrentamos con los mismos indeseables zombies que siempre están molestando.

On the other hand, we also run into Mr. X for the second time, right after we manage to put out the helicopter fire. We’re supposed to have already done this with Leon, but the second story is simply a repeat of the first, only with Claire and a few differences.

Por otra parte, también nos encontramos por segunda vez con Mr. X, justo también cuando logramos apagar el incendio del Helicoptero. Se supone que es algo que ya habíamos hecho con Leon, pero la segunda historia simplemente se repite pero con Claire y algunas diferencias.

One of those differences is, as you saw in the last video, that we meet Sherry Birkin, the daughter of Annette and William Birkin. We reach a point in the story where she becomes a playable character, and we have to try to escape from that scoundrel, Chief Irons.

Una de esas diferencias es, como vieron en el video pasado, que nos encontramos con Sherry Birkin, la hija de Annette y William Birkin. Llegamos a un punto de la historia en el que ella se convierte en un personaje jugable, en el que tenemos que tratar de escapar del desgraciado del Jefe Irons.

Meanwhile, as Sherry escapes from Chief Irons, Claire scours the city streets trying to find her at the orphanage. It is during this search that Claire encounters the dangerous zombie dogs, whose speed will undoubtedly pose a problem.

En paralelo, mientras Sherry escapa del Jefe Irons, Claire recorre las calles de la ciudad intentando encontrarla en el orfanato. En este trayecto es donde Claire se encuentra con los peligrosos perros Zombie, que sin duda serán un problema por su velocidad.

Although we finally managed to meet up with Sherry, we also ran into Mr. X again—though in this part of the story, he gets his chest sliced open while trying to attack us. Who could be capable of something like that? None other than William in his G2 form.

Aunque finalmente logramos reunirnos con Sherry, también nos encontramos de nuevo con Mr. X, aunque en este modo de la historia a este le rebanan el pecho de un tajo mientras intentaba atacarnos. ¿Quien sería capaz de algo así? Pues nada mas y nada menos que Willian en su fase de G2.

This forces us to head into the sewers, where we’ll encounter many zombies and dangers, such as adult Gs—truly dangerous enemies that will try to attack and poison us on more than one occasion. These are the most dangerous enemies in the sewers.

Esto nos obliga a ir a las alcantarillas, donde nos encontraremos con muchos zombies y peligros, como los G adultos, unos enemigos realmente peligrosos que en más de una ocasión intentarán atacarnos y envenenarnos. Estos son los enemigos más peligrosos de las alcantarillas.

Of course, we ran into William G2, but that was just a brief encounter after he took down Mr. X. But before we went to rescue Sherry in the sewers, we came across this final enemy—a truly dangerous threat.

Por supuesto, tuvimos un encuentro con William G2, pero ese fue un breve encuentro cuando acabó con Mr X. Pero antes de encontrar a rescatar a Sherry en las alcantarillas, nos encontramos con este último enemigo, una amenaza realmente peligrosa.

Although it is dangerous, it isn't invincible, and it can certainly be killed. In fact, after defeating it, we managed to rescue Sherry, and following Annette's instructions, we'll take her to the NEST lab.

Aunque sí es peligroso, tampoco es infalible y ciertamente se puede matar, de hecho tras derrotarlo logramos rescatar a Sherry y por indicaciones de Annette la llevaremos al laboratorio NEST.

So far, it’s been a long and difficult journey toward NEST, but I’ve made significant progress toward completing Hardcore mode with Claire in an attempt to get the minigun—the coolest and most powerful weapon in the game, in my opinion. Although I think the rocket launcher is more powerful, I’m not sure—but I just need to get the minigun.

Hasta este momento es un recorrido difícil y largo hacia NEST, pero se avanzó bastante en busca de completar el modo hardcore con Claire para intentar obtener la minigun, el arma más genial y pontente del juego en mi opinión. Aunque el lanza cohetes creo que es más potente, no lo sé, pero solo me falta conseguir la Minigun.
