It's been a while since I found a good cell phone game, not because there wasn't one, but because I hadn't looked for one because I didn't have internet. It was enough that I went to visit my grandmother's house to steal wifi and download a lot of games.
One of the games I downloaded was the one in the cover image Pokemon Quest.
Hace tiempo que no encontraba un buen juego de celular, no porque no haya, sino porque no había buscado por no tener internet. Bastó con que fuese de visita a donde mi abuela para robar wifi y descargar un montón de juegos.
Uno de los juegos que descargué fue el que está en la imagen de portada Pokemon Quest.
I downloaded it because I felt that need that one sometimes has to play a game similar to those Pokemon games that used to exist, but for cell phones. I found this one with my expectations on the floor but, surprise.... It's great!
The game starts with an explorer going to Rodacubo Island, a small island that, as the game says, was recently discovered. In the image below you can see the explorer's small boat and a map of all the areas of the island.
Lo descargué porque sentía esa necesidad que uno a veces tiene de jugar un juego parecido a esos que antes existían de Pokemon, pero para celular. Encontré este con las expectativas por el suelo pero, sorpresa... ¡Es genial!
El juego comienza con un explorador que va a la isla Rodacubo, una pequeña isla que, tal como dice el juego, fue descubierta recientemente. En la imagen de abajo pueden ver el pequeño barco del explorador y un plano de toda las áreas de la isla.

The first thing we are shown is a small drone in the shape of a pokeball. We are asked to register our user name and it is this robot that begins the exploration of the island.
Lo primero que se nos muestra es un pequeño dron con forma de pokebola. Nos pide registrar nuestro nombre de usuario y es este robot el que comienza la exploración de la isla.
It was precisely with this Dron that we found the first pokemon on the island. I remember seeing some nidoran, some kakuna and other pokemon.
It is at this point where one must choose which pokemon to start with. We have several options: charmander, squirtle, bulbasaur, Eevee and Pikachu. One of my favorite pokemon is Bulbasaur, so I chose him.
Precisamente, con este Dron es que encontramos a los primeros pokemon de la isla. Recuerdo haber visto unos nidoran, unos kakuna y otros pokemons.
En es este punto donde uno debe elegir con qué pokemon iniciar. Tenemos varias opciones: charmander, squirtle, bulbasaur, Eevee y Pikachu. Uno de mis pokemons favoritos es Bulbasaur, así que lo elegí a él.
The adventure begins after choosing our initial pokemon. In the meadow of the game we will find other pokemon like pidgye or rattata.
In fact, in this level almost all the pokemon that appear are these two, varying the levels in some specimens.
La aventura comienza tras elegir a nuestro pokemon inicial. En el prado del juego encontraremos otros pokemon como pidgye o rattata.
De hecho, en este nivel casi todos los pokemons que aparecen son estos dos, variando los niveles en algunos ejemplares.

After passing the first level the game shows us the results of the exploration, where bulbasaur has gained experience and some amulets. The amulets are stones that are added to the pokemon to increase its attack power and life, which in the game are called ATQ and PS.
Después de pasar el primer nivel el juego nos muestra los resultados de la exploración, donde bulbasaur ha ganado experiencia y algunos amuletos. Los amuletos son piedras que se le agregan al pokemon para aumentarle poder de ataque y vida, que en el juego se llaman ATQ y PS.

After our first expedition the scout helps us find a base where our kitchen will be. This kitchen is where we will prepare all the dishes and soups that will attract other new pokemon to the camp.
To the right of the kitchen is the exploration base.
Luego de nuestra primera expedición el explorador nos ayuda a encontrar una base en donde estará nuestra cocina. Esta cocina es donde prepararemos todos los platillos y sopas que van a atraer a otros nuevos pokemon al campamento.
A la derecha de la cocina se encuentra la base de exploración.

It is worth mentioning that the game shows mini-tutorials throughout the game. Whether we find a new menu or open something we had not opened before, the game will show us small signs telling us what to do.
For example, the poster below shows us what to do with the exploration areas to start the expedition.
Cabe destacar que el juego va mostrando minitutoriales a lo largo de la jornada. Ya sea que encontremos un menú nuevo o abramos algo que no habíamos abierto antes, el juego nos mostrará pequeños carteles indicándonos qué hacer.
Por ejemplo, en el cartel de abajo nos muestra qué debemos hacer con las zonas de exploración para comenzar la expedición.
I chose the first area to explore and as I told you before, I found many pidgye and a lot of rattata.
My bulbasaur defeated them in a short time and only at the end of the day I met a Meowth, which was a little more difficult to defeat than the other two. As you can see, in each level there are low level pokemon and at the end we encountered a boss that is more difficult to defeat.
When we defeat this final boss, which in this case was Meowth, the phase will be completed.
Elegí la primera zona a explorar e tal como les dije antes, encontré muchos pidgye y un montón de rattata.
Mi bulbasaur los derrotó en poco tiempo y solo hasta el final de la jornada me encontré con un Meowth, que fue un poco más difícil de derrotar que los otros dos. Como ven, en cada nivel hay pokemon de nivel bajo y al final nos encontramos con un jefe que es más difícil de vencer.
Cuando derrotamos a este jefe final, que en este caso fue Meowth, la fase estará completada.

Upon returning to the base, I started cooking to find more pokemon, because I had won a berries, mushrooms, honey and a bunch of other things to cook.
The game itself tells us how to cook, but basically we add 3 ingredients in each box in the kitchen to prepare the different soups that are in our recipe book. The first one I made was a Rodacubo soup.
Al volver a la base, yo comencé a cocinar para encontrar a más pokemon, porque había ganado un bayas, setas, miel y otro montón de cosas para cocinar.
El mismo juego nos dice cómo cocinar, pero básicamente agregamos 3 ingredientes en cada cuadro de la cocina para preparar las distintas sopas que hay en nuestro libro de recetas. La primera que hice fue una sopa Rodacubo.

This recipe takes two expeditions to complete; that is, we must make two expeditions and when we complete them, the soup will be ready.
Also, as you can see in the image below, I added a pidgey and a rattata that arrived at my base after making this Rodacubo soup.

It is not difficult to add new pokemon to the team, in fact it has a submenu where we can manage our team of 3 pokemon. We can remove the other pokemon, but we can never remove all the pokemon; that is, we have to leave a pokemon in the team.
No es difícil agregar nuevos pokemon al equipo, de hecho tiene un submenú en donde podemos gestionar nuestro equipo de 3 pokemon. Podemos retirar los otros pokemon, pero nunca se podrá quitar todos los pokemon; es decir, tenemos que dejar un pokemon en el equipo.
Well, with the team from before, my initial pokemon Bulbasaur, Pidgey and Rattata, I continued the expedition through the initial meadow of Rodacubo Island.
Notice that in the image below is the power of my pokemon team, which is 660, this is calculated based on the attack power and life of each pokemon.
In each selected level is the maximum power of the enemies that we can find, so if the power of our team is less than the power of the level, it is advisable to repeat other low levels to increase the power of our pokemon, to be able to face the enemies of that level.
Pues bien, con el equipo de antes, mi pokemon inicial Bulbasaur, Pidgey y Rattata, continué la expedición por el prado inicial de la Isla Rodacubo.
Fíjense que en la imagen de abajo está el poder de mi equipo pokemon, que es de 660, esto se calcula en base al poder de ataque y la vida de cada pokemon.
En cada nivel seleccionado se encuentra el máximo de poder de los enemigos que podemos encontrar, así que si el poder de nuestro equipo es menor al poder del nivel, es recomendable volver a repetir otros niveles bajos para aumentar el poder de nuestro pokemon, para poder enfrentar los enemigos de ese nivel.
In this second level I found more interesting pokemon. You could say that I found pokemon that one would find in a meadow, such as insect or flying types.
I found a Kakuna and a Caterpie; also a Pidgeotto and a Metapod. All pokemon that were harder to defeat than a Pidgey and a Rattata.
En este segundo nivel me encontré con pokemons más interesantes. Se podría decir que encontré pokemon que uno encontraría en una pradera, como tipo insecto o volador.
Encontré un Kakuna y Caterpie; también un Pidgeotto y un Metapod. Todos pokemon que fueron más difíciles de derrotar que un Pidgey y un Rattata.

As in the previous level, you can collect stones or amulets; you also find mushrooms, honey and other interesting things to cook.
On the other hand, with the expeditions you complete achievements, which also give you mushrooms, stones and coupons, which can be exchanged for certain things in the game, such as recharging the drone battery, which is only enough for 5 missions.
Así como en el nivel anterior, uno logra recolectar piedras o amuletos; también encuentra setas, miel y otras cosas interesantes para cocinar.
Por otra parte, con las expediciones se completan logros, que también otorgan setas, piedras y cupones, que se pueden canjear por ciertas cosas en el juego, como recargar la batería del dron, la cual alcanza solo para 5 misiones.

Surprisingly, when I returned from my expedition and the soup was ready, I found two new visitors in my camp, in this case a level 14 Abra, the strongest that had arrived, and a level 14 Bulbasaur as well.
I didn't hesitate to add them to my team, but I didn't replace my original Buulbasaur with the new one, on the contrary, I used it to train my initial Bulbasaur, which has more attacks. The Abra, on the other hand, I did include it in my team.
Sorpresivamente, cuando volví de mi expedición y la sopa estuvo lista, me encontré con dos nuevos visitantes en mi campamento, en este caso un Abra de nivel 14, el más fuerte que había llegado, y un Bulbasaur de nivel 14 también.
No dudé en agregarlos a mi equipo, pero no reemplacé a mi Buulbasaur original por el nuevo, al contrario, lo usé parar entrenar a mi Bulbasaur inicial, que tiene más ataques. El Abra, por otra parte, sí lo incluí a mi equipo.

I stayed at the base for a while making more soups and although other pokemon arrived, which I used to train the ones I already had, in one of the soups I cooked came an all-powerful level 6 Diglett, which is also one of my favorite pokemon.

Well, returning to the expeditions, I found other pokemon, among these a Pidgeotto and as a final boss a Raticate, which was really difficult to defeat with my team, but in the end we did it.
Aunque no lo incluí en mi equipo de pelea, sí lo dejé para entrenarlo y subirlo de nivel, vamos que se vuelva más poderoso para que evoluciones en un Dugtrio, porque sí, aquí también podemos hacer que los pokemon evolucionen.
Bien, volviendo a las expediciones, me encontré con otros pokemon, entre estos un Pidgeotto y como jefe final un Raticate, que sí fue realmente difícil de vencer con mi equipo, pero al final lo logramos.

Each of the team's pokemon gained experience to level up. Each one adds up with every expedition, more so when facing powerful enemies.

As a result of having managed to complete all this initial meadow level, I obtained an ornament for my base, which is called the Statue of Prosperity.
As the image below says, if we place it on the base, all pokemon up to Nv 5 will receive more experience after expeditions.
Como resultado de haber logrado completar todo este nivel del prado inicial, obtuve un adorno para mi base, el cual es la llamada Estatua de la Prosperidad.
Tal como dice la imagen de abajo, si la colocamos en la base, todos los pokemon de hasta Nv 5 recibirán más experiencia tras las expediciones.
I put it in the base, so I can level up all my low level pokemon.
Yo lo coloqué en la base, así podré subir de nivel a todos mis pokemon de bajo nivel.
And well friends, I'll leave it up to here. This is the first part of this game that I just downloaded and the truth is very easy to get addicted to it. So much so that while I'm walking down the street I start playing the 5 expeditions that it lets me play every few hours.

Y bien amigos, lo dejaré hasta aquí. Esta es la primera parte de este juego que recién descargué y la verdad es muy fácil volverse adicto a él. Tanto así que mientras ando caminando por la calle me pongo a jugar las 5 expediciones que me deja jugar cada ciertas horas.
