En una publicación anterior que hice en mi blog, les comenté que una de las cosas que había hecho durante el tiempo que estuve sin internet (y un poco desconectado de Hive), fue regalarle a mi madre un celular. Ella no tenía, así que entre mi hermano y yo le compramos un smartphone para que ella pudiese hacer sus cosas con total comodidad.
Se trata de un Tecno Pova Neo, un equipo de muy buen precio y con muy buen rendimiento. Acompáñame en esta publicación donde te comentaré un poco sobre mi experiencia usando el equipo.
Bien, para empezar debo decir que el precio es bastante accesible, comparado con otros equipos de ciertas marcas, que estaban mucho más costosos y que ofrecían mucho menos, en cuanto a especificaciones técnicas se refiere.
Este Pova Neo es un equipo visualmente muy bonito y elegante. Es de muy buen tamaño y la pantalla es bastante colorida, aunque sí tiene sus cosas negativas que comentaré más adelante. Sin embargo, volviendo al tema de la estética, pueden ver en las fotografías el diseño de la caja, de la película protectora de la pantalla y el color oscuro del propio equipo.

En cuanto a accesorios tiene lo mismo que casi todos los demás: el cargador, un par de auriculares y una funda protectora transparente.
Cabe destacar, que no sé si esta funda protectora está hecha del mismo material que otro que le había comprado a mi tía (la funda que traía un Tecno Spark), pero debo mencionar que aquella funda protectora tomó un color amarillo bastante feo en poco tiempo. No sé si sucederá lo mismo con este, pero es algo para que lo tengan presente.
Mi mamá no es una usuario que vaya a exigirle demasiado a este equipo. Sí le gusta tomar muchas fotos y videos, para enviárselos a mi hermano; además, le gusta ver videos en youtube y facebook. Durante el tiempo que usamos el teléfono, se lo prestó a mi prima, que le instaló unos cuantos juegos que le exigieron bastante al celular, a pesar de todo este los soportó bastante bien.

Un amigo, que tiene un equipo similar, me comentó que este que yo había comprado no soporta demasiados juegos pesados, porque es un poco limitado para este tema; por lo tanto, si planeas comprarte un equipo como este para jugar, no lo recomiendo. Sin embargo, mi mamá no lo usaría, ni usará, para tantos juegos, así que el equipo le viene muy pero muy bien a ella.
Además, esto ya lo comento de manera jocosa, este equipo tiene la posibilidad de conectarse a radio FM, pero creo que con un adaptador. Mi mamá, cuando supo esto, se alegró bastante, pues le parecía fascinante poder conectarse a la radio desde su dispositivo. Dije que lo comentaba de manera jocosa porque uno podría esperar que sintiera más fascinación por las otras cosas que puede hacer el equipo, pero no, ella es más contenta con cosas más simples como conectarse a la radio...

Hablemos ahora de especificaciones técnicas. Respecto a este tema empezaré con la memoria, pues este modelo, el LE6h (lo dice en una etiqueta...), cuenta con 6 GB de memoria que pueden expandirse del almacenamiento interno, una barbaridad para un usuario no avanzado. 128 GB de memoria interna de almacenamiento, con la posibilidad de aumentarla con una memoria externa.
Uno puede pensar que 128 GB es bastante memoria, pero verán, con apenas una semana de uso de este equipo por parte de mi madre, consumió poco más de 60 GB en muy poco tiempo, tomando fotos, grabando videos y descargando recetas de comida de youtube. Si bien posee bastante almacenamiento, el tamaño de los archivos multimedia consume en muy poco tiempo este espacio, además de que los juegos descargados por mi prima pequeña consumieron mucha mas memoria de la que uno podría esperar.
De todas formas, cuando uno dispone de menor almacenamiento en un equipo, suele administrar mejor lo que tiene allí o lo que descarga, pero mi mamá no hacía nada de esto y no tomaba en cuenta la cantidad de cosas que guardaba. Algo me dice que de vez en cuando voy a tener que estar limpándo su equipo para que le funcione en las mejores condiciones.

Algo muy importante y que me parece muy bueno es la duración de la batería. Esta batería es de 6000mAh. Para el uso que se le dio al equipo durante los primeros días, que fue bastante, este estuvo encendido durante casi todo el día sin necesidad de ningún tipo de carga. LLegó a un 18% (lo más bajo que vi), cuando lo conectaron a cargar, ya en la noche, así que es muy bueno que la duración de la batería sea bastante. Aunque debo comentar que carga rápido, en cuestión de un par de horas ya había recuperado la batería.
Anteriormente les dije que iba a comentarles un poco sobre la pantalla. Pues bien, en rasgos generales no le veo nada malo, salvo el brillo. Con equipos como el samsung que uso actualmente, simplemente ajustando el brillo puedo ver con total normalidad cuando hay mucha luz del sol; sin embargo, con este equipo hay que ir a la sombra y oscurecer un poco con la mano para poder ver bien.
Al menos a mi me sucedió así con este equipo, simplemente costaba mucho ver la pantalla a plena luz del sol, pero creo que es algo normal en muchos equipos, así que no diría que es algo del todo negativo, pero sí un contra si lo comparo, por ejemplo, con mi dispositivo.
Las fotografías son geniales, tiene algunos efectos interesantes y las toma con muy buena calidad. Los videos también los puede grabar en full HD y aunque terminan pesando bastante, se pueden obtener fotografías y videos de buena calidad con este equipo. Algo que para nosotros, los que creamos contenido, es muy importante.
Si planeas comprarte un equipo como este para tomar fotos y videos para hive (u otra red social), este cumpliría bien con este propósito, pero siempre es bueno seguir el criterio de cada uno en función de para qué vas a usar el dispositivo.

Bien, este es un equipo de gama media y para el precio es bastante potente; quiero decir, es muy bueno en mi opinión y ha rendido bastante porque incluso lo he usado para algunas cosas y creo que es, en ciertos aspectos, mejor que el samsung que yo uso. Estoy seguro que para mi madre será un equipo que le durará mucho y que le será de gran utilidad.

In a previous post I made in my blog, I told you that one of the things I had done during the time I was without internet (and a bit disconnected from Hive), was to give my mother a cell phone. She didn't have one, so between my brother and me we bought her a smartphone so she could do her things with total comfort.
It is a Tecno Pova Neo, a very good value and with very good performance. Join me in this post where I will tell you a little about my experience using the device.
Well, to begin with I must say that the price is quite affordable, compared to other equipment of certain brands, which were much more expensive and offered much less, as far as technical specifications are concerned.
This Pova Neo is a visually very nice and elegant device. It is a very good size and the screen is quite colorful, although it does have its downsides which I will discuss later. However, going back to the aesthetics, you can see in the pictures the design of the box, the protective film on the screen and the dark color of the device itself.

In terms of accessories it has the same as almost all the others: the charger, a pair of headphones and a transparent protective case.
It's worth noting, I don't know if this protective case is made of the same material as another one I had bought for my aunt (the case that came with a Tecno Spark), but I should mention that that protective case took on a rather ugly yellow color in a short time. I don't know if the same thing will happen with this one, but it's something to keep in mind.
My mom is not a user who is going to demand too much from this device. She does like to take a lot of pictures and videos, to send to my brother; she also likes to watch videos on youtube and facebook. During the time we used the phone, she lent it to my cousin, who installed a few games on it that put a lot of demands on the phone, yet it coped with them quite well.

A friend, who has a similar device, told me that the one I bought doesn't support too many heavy games, because it's a bit limited for that matter; therefore, if you plan to buy a device like this for gaming, I don't recommend it. However, my mom wouldn't and won't use it for that many games, so it suits her very, very well.
Also, I am jokingly saying this, this device has the ability to connect to FM radio, but I think with an adapter. My mom, when she found this out, was very happy, because she found it fascinating to be able to connect to the radio from her device. I said I was commenting jokingly because you might expect her to be more fascinated by the other things the device can do, but no, she is happier with simpler things like connecting to the radio...

Let's talk about technical specifications. Regarding this topic I will start with the memory, because this model, the LE6h (it says so on a label...), has 6 GB of memory that can be expanded from the internal storage, a barbarity for a non-advanced user. 128 GB of internal storage memory, with the possibility of increasing it with an external memory.
One may think that 128 GB is quite a lot of memory, but you see, with just a week of use of this device by my mother, she consumed just over 60 GB in a very short time, taking pictures, recording videos and downloading food recipes from youtube. While it has plenty of storage, the size of the media files consumes this space in a very short time, plus the games downloaded by my little cousin consumed much more memory than one would expect.
Anyway, when you have less storage on a computer, you tend to manage better what you have there or what you download, but my mom didn't do any of this and didn't take into account the amount of things she kept. Something tells me that from time to time I'm going to have to clean up her computer to keep it running at its best.

Something very important and that I think is very good is the battery life. This battery is 6000mAh. For the use that was given to the equipment during the first days, which was quite a lot, it was on for almost the whole day without needing any kind of charge. It reached 18% (the lowest I saw), when connected to charge, already at night, so it is very good that the battery life is enough. Although I must comment that it charges fast, in a matter of a couple of hours it had already recovered the battery.
Earlier I told you that I was going to tell you a little about the screen. Well, in general terms I don't see anything wrong with it, except for the brightness. With devices like the samsung I currently use, simply by adjusting the brightness I can see normally when there is a lot of sunlight; however, with this device you have to go to the shade and darken it a little with your hand to be able to see well.
At least that's what happened to me with this device, it was just hard to see the screen in full sunlight, but I think it's something normal in many devices, so I wouldn't say it's something negative at all, but it's a disadvantage if I compare it, for example, with my device.
The pictures are great, it has some interesting effects and takes them with very good quality. The videos can also be recorded in full HD and although they end up weighing quite a lot, you can get good quality photos and videos with this equipment. Something that for us who create content is very important.
If you plan to buy a device like this to take photos and videos for hive (or another social network), this would fulfill this purpose well, but it is always good to follow your own criteria depending on what you are going to use the device for.

Well, this is a mid-range device and for the price it is quite powerful; I mean, it is very good in my opinion and it has performed quite well because I have even used it for some things and I think it is, in certain aspects, better than the samsung I use. I am sure that for my mother it will be an equipment that will last her a long time and that will be of great use to her.
