Renewing set-up and work tools are something very important especially if we make frequent use of them daily. Since some time ago as you will see in my blog I have been renewing them because I also upgraded my pc (something I will bring soon) and with this, I decided to change all the old peripherals and about to be damaged that I had to make content and talk to friends in a much more comfortable way while I play.
As I mentioned in the post of the keyboard I use when I bought it I got some headsets of the same brand which was Thermaltake in its Tt-esports version, unlike the keyboard these if I did enough use of which were in a very poor state. The jack had been bent so I had to change it for one found at home and the pads had lost the mesh of the speakers, and more importantly the microphone was not working. That's why I had to talk through a saving application called WO Mic that allowed me to make my microphone via wifi from my phone.
As you know the headphones are something very important when we play competitive games like CS: GO because good sound quality and also a good structure of speakers will allow us to easily identify the steps of the rivals. For some time I've been browsing for which ones to buy, thanks to recommendations I caught the attention of the Onikuma brand, as I know it is a brand that recently entered the country many people are wondering how are their products are, that's why I come to bring my opinions about them.

Well, in terms of presentation they come pretty well, the box and logo are one of the very nice things with the Onikuma dragon and come wrapped in bubble wrap. It brings the headsets, 2-meter cable, converter quite big and its main output is a Jack that unifies sound and micro which is often used for mobile and brings its relevant adapter for use on PC and split the signal, which is something that many brands of headphones tend to do today as the market also tends to migrate to want to talk on the phone rather than on the PC.

The audio quality, here the truth is that I was surprised because it is quite a big difference with the quality of headphones and helmets that I have tried before. After all, I feel that it is more surround sound than linear. By this I mean that usually we believe that the speakers of the headphones usually deliver a sound that comes out of the middle and ready, but in this case, when listening to them you feel a sound that comes from many parts, this is something certainly brutal that at least in games like CS: GO or Valorant usually helps a lot to identify the steps and the specific direction of them.
In addition, the bass is usually very comfortable, in my life, the best bass in headphones I've heard have been those of an Apple earpod which I think have been of the best sound quality in small headphones I've been able to hear. I have been able to remember that feeling in songs with low demanding beats (yes, I know I have taken that term out of my sleeve hahah), and at no time have I felt at all saturated sound, on the contrary, it is something nice and gradual, I know that perhaps in headphones like the Astro or some other Logitech the quality can improve, but I consider that for the price they are pretty good.
Now one of the main points and what I was most afraid of, the microphone. To be honest it is difficult to find something of quality, at a certain point I consider that if we are looking for a spectacular quality it is better to go for a microphone dedicated to this. However, in my experience I can say that the microphone is quite good and makes you give your voice a fairly enveloping quality without making you sound saturated which was something that happened to me constantly with all the microphones in helmets that I have come to have and without being flexible sound field makes without twisting them is heard perfect.
Something that happened to me at first and if you are thinking of buying them and don't want to take a disappointment is that it is necessary to configure them to sound as you should because if not you will be like me thinking "No way, this doesn't work". The first thing is that in the sound settings you should adjust the properties parameters between 60 and 100 percent and then in the additional properties you should set the power to 30 decibels, otherwise, you will hear in very poor quality. In discord calls they usually sound perfect, I have asked many friends and they don't usually filter any strange sound. Recording gameplays I usually separate the audio track and then edit it well, listening to them usually filter a slight sound of the game to the audio, I don't know if it's because I usually play at high volumes. Besides I think it's something that all the mics do, but the volume of my air conditioning is also usually something that is heard, in discord with noise suppression is removed and recording in OBS with some filter you can remove it, or failing that as I do I apply noise reduction effects in Premiere Pro.
Anyway, I will give my conclusions about them. I think they are a good buy if you are looking to not spend much and want something of quality, the finishes are certainly very good and the fact that you have a control center, mesh cables and two meters long, Jack included, aluminum and leather finishes sincerely make me enough for the price I paid. The quality is certainly worthy of something good and if as in my case you are looking to have a decent microphone to record, talk on Discord and hear everything is certainly a very good buy. El renovar set-up y herramientas de trabajo es algo bastante primordial sobre todo si hacemos de un uso frecuente de ellas en el día a día. Desde hace tiempo como irán viendo en mi blog he ido renovándolas a raíz de que también mejoré mi pc (algo que traeré pronto) y con esto decidí ir cambiando todos los periféricos viejos y a punto de dañarse que tenía para así poder hacer contenido y hablar con amigos de forma mucho más cómoda mientras juego.
Como mencioné en el post del teclado que utilizo cuando lo compré me hice con unos headsets de la misma marca que era Thermaltake en su versión Tt-esports , a diferencia del teclado a estos si les hice bastante uso del cual estaban en un estado paupérrimo. El Jack se había doblado por lo que tuve que optar por cambiarle por uno encontrado en casa y las almohadillas se les había descosido la malla de los parlantes, y más importante aún el micro no servía. Es por esto que debía hablar por una aplicación salvadora llamada WO Mic que permitía hacer vía wifi de mi teléfono mi micro.
Como sabrán los cascos son algo importantísimo cuando jugamos sobre todo juegos competitivos como CS: GO ya que una buena calidad de sonido y además una buena estructura de parlantes nos permitirán identificar fácilmente los pasos de los rivales. Desde hace tiempo anduve ojeando por cuales comprar, gracias a recomendaciones me llamó la atención de la marca Onikuma, como sé que es una marca que incursionó en el país hace poco mucha gente se estará preguntando qué tal salen sus productos, es por esto que vengo a traer mis apreciaciones respecto a ellos.

Pues, en temas de presentación vienen bastante bien, la caja y el logo son una de las cosas muy lindas con el dragón de Onikuma y viene envuelta en papel de burbujas de embalaje. Trae los headsets, cable de 2 metros, convertidor bastante tocho y su salida principal es de un Jack que unifica sonido y micro el cual se suele usar así para el móvil y trae su adaptador pertinente para usarlo en PC y splitear esta señal, cosa que es algo que muchas marcas de cascos suelen hacer hoy en día ya que también el mercado suele migrar a querer hablar por el teléfono más que en la PC.
Además, que lo primero es la parte de las almohadillas que vienen completamente de cuero, escogí esto porque los cascos que nombré anteriormente que tenía eran completamente de tela lo cual no lo veo un material duradero. Aparte su diseño es bastante sobrio y elegante y el RGB es algo que no es muy basto, cabe mencionar que este se alimenta por un cable USB que la única pega que pongo es que siendo sinceros lo usaremos en la mayoría del rato con el adaptador ya que mayormente son para usarse en PC, entonces al conectarle el adaptador el USB queda un poco corto con estos.
La calidad del audio, aquí la verdad es que quedé sorprendido ya que es una diferencia bastante grande con calidad de auriculares y cascos que he podido probar antes ya que siento que es un sonido algo más envolvente que lineal. Con esto me refiero a que por lo general nosotros creemos que los parlantes de los auriculares suelen entregar un sonido que sale por el medio y listo, pero en este caso al escucharlos sientes un sonido que viene de muchas partes, esto es algo sin duda brutal que por lo menos en juegos como el CS:GO o Valorant suele ayudar muchísimo para identificar los pasos y la dirección en concreto de ellos.
Además, los bajos suelen ser muy cómodos, en mi vida los mejores bajos en auriculares que he escuchado han sido los de un earpod de Apple los cuales creo que han sido de las mejores calidades de sonido en auriculares pequeños que he podido escuchar. He podido recordar esa sensación en canciones con beats bajo demandantes (sí, lo sé me he sacado de la manga ese término hahah) y en ningún momento he sentido para nada saturado el sonido, al contrario, es algo agradable y gradual, sé que quizás en cascos como los Astro o algún que otro Logitech la calidad puede mejorar, pero considero que por el precio están bastante bien.
Ahora uno de los puntos primordiales y de los cuales es lo que más temía, el micro. Siendo sinceros es difícil encontrar algo de calidad, a cierto punto considero que si buscamos una calidad espectacular sale mejor ir por un micrófono dedicado a esto. Sin embargo, en mi experiencia puedo decir que el micro es bastante bueno y hace darle a tu voz una calidad bastante envolvente y sin hacerte sonar saturado que era algo que me pasaba de forma constante con todos los micrófonos en cascos que he llegado a tener y sin ser flexible el campo de sonido hace que sin torcerlos se escuche perfecto.
Algo que me sucedió al principio y si tu estás pensando en comprártelos y no quieres llevarte un chasco es que es necesario configurarlos para que suenen como deberías porque si no estarás como yo pensando “No puede ser, esto no sirve”. Lo primero es que en la configuración de sonido ajustes los parámetros de propiedades entre el 60 y 100 por ciento y seguido de ello en las propiedades adicionales sitúes en 30 decibelios su potencia ya que si no te escucharás muy débil. En la prueba que grabé puse un audio de mi voz sin editar y mi voz ya con filtros para que puedan entender, si desean verlo aquí dejo el link.
En llamadas de discord suelen escucharse perfectos, he preguntado a muchos amigos y no suelen filtrar ningún sonido extraño. Grabando gameplays suelo separar la pista del audio para luego editarla bien, escuchándolos suelen filtrar un ligero sonido del juego al audio, no sé si es porque suelo jugar en altos volúmenes. Además de que creo que es algo que todos los micros hacen, pero el volumen de mi aire acondicionado también suele ser algo que se escucha, esto en discord con la supresión de ruido se quita y grabando en OBS con algún filtro puedes quitarlo, o en su defecto como hago yo que aplico efectos de reducción de ruido en el Premiere Pro.
Pero en fin, daré mis conclusiones finales de ellos. Creo que son una buena compra si estás buscando no gastar mucho y quieres algo de calidad, los acabados sin duda son muy buenos y el hecho de que tengas un centro de control, cables mallados y de dos metros de largo, Jack incluido, acabados de aluminio y cuero sinceramente se me hacen bastante por el precio que pagué. La calidad sin duda es digna de algo bueno y si como en mi caso buscas tener un micrófono decente para grabar, hablar por Discord y escuchar todo de forma clara son sin duda una muy buena compra.
