Hello Hive, my moment to reach the Holy citadel of Pharloom finally arrived. This is the end of Act 1 in Hollow Knight: Silkong, and I am excited to discover the story behind this giant ancestral place. The only problem is how to enter the citadel. Here I share my experience completing the first chapter of Hornet's story.

Hola Hive, por fin llegó mi momento de llegar a la Ciudadela Sagrada de Pharloom. Este es el final del Acto 1 de Hollow Knight: Silkong, y estoy emocionado por descubrir la historia detrás de este gigantesco lugar ancestral. El único problema es cómo entrar a la ciudadela. Aquí les comparto mi experiencia completando el primer capítulo de la historia de Hornet.
Moving away from all the lower lands of Pharloom, I discovered the path towards the citadel to uncover the mysteries of Hornet's kidnapping and the mastermind behind it. Right about to get near, I find Sherma, the singing pilgrim. She kept faithful as always as we sang along one more time, just in case.

Alejándome de las tierras bajas de Pharloom, descubrí el camino hacia la ciudadela para desentrañar los misterios del secuestro de Hornet y al cerebro detrás de él. A punto de acercarme, encontré a Sherma, la peregrina cantante. Se mantuvo fiel como siempre mientras cantábamos juntos una vez más, por si acaso.
The gate is a five-bell door, and according to the pilgrims in front of it, there is no way to open it but with the voices of the pilgrims. I immediately used my harp skill, and each bell began to resonate while the pilgrims sang along. In the shadows, we saw a figure moving after the fifth resonance.

La puerta tiene cinco campanas y, según los peregrinos que estaban frente a ella, solo se podía abrir con sus voces. Inmediatamente usé mi arpa, y cada campana empezó a resonar mientras los peregrinos cantaban. Entre las sombras, vimos una figura que se movía tras la quinta resonancia.
The Guardian of the Gate is a powerful foe. He has a wide range of attacks, and after some point, he adds fire to them. The guard uses an incense-burning lamp to attack you up to a certain range. Air combat is important in this one. I am also grateful I explored all the lands I could before coming here because I could obtain many skills, crests, and especially tools. One that is particularly useful in this battle is the magma bell; it is an item that reduces fire damage. You can see it in action once you equip it by noticing a red aura around Hornet just after receiving damage.

El Guardián de la Puerta es un enemigo poderoso. Posee un amplio rango de ataques y, tras un cierto tiempo, les añade fuego. Usa una lámpara de incienso para atacarte hasta cierta distancia. El combate aéreo es importante en este caso. También agradezco haber explorado todas las tierras posibles antes de venir aquí, ya que pude obtener muchas habilidades, emblemas y, sobre todo, herramientas. Una de las más útiles en esta batalla es la campana de magma; es un objeto que reduce el daño por fuego. Puedes verla en acción al equiparla, notando un aura roja alrededor de Hornet justo después de recibir daño.

Another useful tools were the boomerang and the flower bomb. During those range attacks, I would use these to deal some damage while focusing on dodging the guardian's attacks. Once I give the final blow, the guard falls to the ground, but the bastard had a little surprise prepared. Seconds after falling, the lamp exploded in a wide radius, burning the guardian's body and trying to burn mine as well! I anticipated it and could avoid the damage, thankfully.

Otras herramientas útiles eran el bumerán y la bomba flor. Durante esos ataques a distancia, los usaba para infligir daño mientras me concentraba en esquivar los ataques del guardián. Al dar el golpe final, el guardia cae al suelo, pero el muy cabrón tenía una pequeña sorpresa preparada. Segundos después de caer, la lámpara explotó en un amplio radio, quemando el cuerpo del guardián e intentando quemarme también. Lo anticipé y, por suerte, pude evitar el daño.
And just like that, the gate opened before my eyes reaveling a marvelous titanic city of ancient metals covered in silk. The mysteries it holds and the fate of Hornet lie within those chambers as Act II begins. I look forward to discovering more of the story while enjoying my progress in Silksong.

Y así, la puerta se abrió ante mis ojos, revelando una maravillosa ciudad titánica de metales antiguos recubierta de seda. Los misterios que encierra y el destino de Hornet se encuentran en esas cámaras al comenzar el Acto II. Espero con ansias descubrir más de la historia mientras disfruto de mi progreso en Silksong.
