Ha pasado mucho tiempo desde la última vez que hice un unboxing, así que me he aprovechado de ciertas circunstancias para finalmente darme ese gusto.
Los pongo en contexto, mi hijo menor, Samuel, ama hacer helados, él hace helados de cualquier tipo de jugos que preparemos en casa, y si no hay jugo, hace helados de agua jajaja, si, es hielo, pero él dice que es helado de agua. El punto es que recientemente él estuvo de cumpleaños, y me pidió de regalo una máquina de hacer helados, no la Heladería Kreisel Supra, no, él fue explícito al pedir: quiero una máquina de verdad. Por raro que parezca su deseo, eso fue lo que quiso…y en mi interior, yo también.

It's been a long time since I last did an unboxing, so I've taken advantage of certain circumstances to finally give myself that treat.
I put them in context, my youngest son, Samuel, loves to make ice cream, he makes ice cream from any kind of juices we prepare at home, and if there is no juice, he makes water ice cream hahaha, yes, it is ice, but he says it is water ice cream. The point is that recently he had a birthday, and he asked me for an ice cream machine as a present, not the Kreisel Supra Ice Cream Parlor, no, he was explicit in asking: I want a real ice cream machine. Strange as his wish may seem, that was what he wanted...and in my mind, I did too.
Una máquina de hacer helados en casa, me pareció un beneficio común, una oportunidad para que yo también pueda tomar partido de los regalos de mis hijos como suelen hacer ellos con los míos. Así que, aprobada la solicitud. Casualmente, días antes había visto una promoción de una reconocida tienda de electrodomésticos en el país que tenía una de estas máquinas en $30, me pareció excelente, pero para el momento que los contacté la promoción había expirado y ahora costaba $40, aun así, seguía pareciéndome un buen precio considerando que era de la marca Hamilton Beach.
Lamentablemente no hay sucursal de esa tienda en mi ciudad, igual los contacté esperanzada de que pudiesen enviarla hasta acá, pero me dijeron que no hacían envíos hacia esta zona…en fin, F. Pero como en esta vida todo tiene una solución,

Pues no se pudo, leyendo el manual (y si, lo leí) me enteré que el tazón congelador debe estar previamente en el congelador de 8 a 22 horas dependiendo la temperatura de este…nuevamente, F en el chat.
48 hours after shipping, the box arrived, i.e. it arrived on Friday, just in time for my son's birthday; however, we were busy that day, so we decided to pick it up today. Before going to the shipping office, I made sure to buy the ingredients to have a complete surprise: the machine and the ingredients, so Samuel would be able to use them for the first time. Well, it was not possible, reading the manual (and yes, I read it) I found out that the freezer bowl must be previously in the freezer from 8 to 22 hours depending on the temperature of the freezer...again, F in the chat.

Ahora bien, estas horas de ansiosa y larga espera no me quitarán las ganas de hacer el unboxing para mostrarles mi nuevo juguete, perdón, el regalo de Samu. Gracias a los avances de la tecnología, ahora tendremos helados cremosos en un lapso estimado entre 20 y 40 minutos. Por lo pronto, paso a mostrarles el contenido de la caja, y por supuesto, la famosa Máquina de Hacer Helados de Hamilton Beach.
En el interior de la caja encontraremos inicialmente el manual de usuarios, luego, la cubierta (tapa) transparente, seguido de esta está la paleta de mezclado, posteriormente el tazón de congelado, y ya al fondo, la base de la máquina. Todo cuidadosamente envuelto y protegido con bolsas plásticas y cartón.
Now, these hours of anxiety and long waiting will not take away my desire to do the unboxing to show you my new toy, sorry, Samu's gift. Thanks to the advances in technology, we will now have creamy ice cream in an estimated 20 to 40 minutes. Inside the box you will first find the user's manual, then the transparent cover, followed by the mixing paddle, then the freezer bowl, and at the bottom, the base of the machine. Everything is carefully wrapped and protected with plastic bags and cardboard.

El ensamble de la máquina es super sencillo, y el modo de uso aun más, pues solo dispone de un único botón de encendido/apagado. Es decir, armar, enchufar, encender, verter la mezcla, esperar de 20 a 40 minutos, apagar…y voilá, tendremos helados. Como pueden ver es una máquina relativamente pequeña, pues tiene una capacidad de solo 1.4L, de manera que la opción de repetir helados deberá quedar para próximas tandas.
Espero que la práctica confirme esta teoría, para entonces, les estaré comentando de mi experiencia de uso, perdón nuevamente, de la experiencia de uso de Samuel, su legítimo dueño.
The assembly of the machine is super simple, and the mode of use is even more so, as it only has a single on/off button. That is, assemble, plug in, turn on, pour the mixture, wait 20 to 40 minutes, turn off...and voila, we have ice cream. As you can see it is a relatively small machine, as it has a capacity of only 1.4L, so the option of repeating ice cream should be left for future production batches.
I hope that practice confirms this theory, by then, I will be telling you about my experience of use, sorry again, the experience of use of Samuel, its rightful owner.
