       This year is the 30th anniversary of the premiere of the original Power Rangers series, the Mighty Morphin Power Rangers. It's a franchise aimed at kids that is still on the air today and with a different group of Rangers each season. But nothing like that legendary first generation (this is nostalgia talking), which I enjoyed as a kid. With the premiere this month of the anniversary special on Netflix, which will bring back some of the cast members from the first seasons of the show, I want to share with you the drawing I made of Jason, the original Red Ranger, which was played by actor Austin St. John. I hope you like it.

Este año es el aniversario #30 del estreno de la serie original de los Power Rangers, la de los Mighty Morphin Power Rangers. Se trata de una franquicia dirigida a niños que aún hoy continúa al aire y con un grupo diferente de Rangers cada temporada. Pero nada como aquella primera generación legendaria (esta es la nostalgia hablando), la cual disfruté de niño. Aprovechando el estreno durante este mes del especial de aniversario en Netflix, que traerá de vuelta a algunos miembros del elenco de las primeras temporadas de esta serie, quiero compartir contigo el dibujo que realicé de Jason, el Ranger Rojo original, el cual fue interpretado por el actor Austin St. John. Espero te guste.

       I used the following materials and tools:

1. Recycled paper
2. Pencil
3. HP Photosmart C3180 Scanner
4. Desktop PC
5. Adobe Photoshop CC 2019 Software

Los materiales y herramientas usados fueron los siguientes:

1. Papel de reciclaje
2. Lápiz
3. Escáner HP Photosmart C3180
4. PC de escritorio
5. Software Adobe Photoshop CC 2019

       First, I made the sketch by hand on a recycled paper sheet.

Primero, realicé el boceto a mano en una hoja de papel de reciclaje.

       The next step was to scan the image and open it in the Photoshop design Software. I traced the outline of the drawing with the pencil tool on a new layer, the result is shown below.

El siguiente paso fue escanear la imagen y abrirla en el Software de diseño Photoshop. Tracé el contorno del dibujo con la herramienta lápiz en una capa nueva, el resultado se muestra a continuación.

       Then I added color to the illustration.

Luego agregué color a la ilustración.

       This is the result after adding some effects and shadows.
