Recently, toy collecting has become a trend here in my country. I don't know why or how, but I guess it's because of celebrities flaunting their collections.

I understand the concept of collecting and how other people enjoy it (I'm an artist lol) but I don't like trends because I find them cringe when all of a sudden people around you rush into buying something and show it off just to show that they can afford it or they're updated or I don't really know haha and not because they really like it. Social media and being "in" here is so important compared to the West.

Personally I stay away from trends but this one caught my eye. :D

Among the trendy toys right now are those you can use as bag charms like this one I have. It's called Nommi from the manufacturer Toy City and it's huge for a bag charm to be honest lol. I saw this in one of the shops in my city and apart from it being cute and me craving for a cute stuffed toy, the fact that it's a blind box adds to the excitement.

You can see from the first photo above that there are 6 regular ones and a secret one (or many? don't really understand that). Anyway, I was hoping I'd get the white or the black one since I really like them but even if I don't, I'd still be happy anyway cos all of them look cute. :D

And here's what I got! A blue one. I didn't get the ones I like the most but it's still very pretty. It's a pastel icy blue color which matches the vibe of the toy and the name's Binbin.

It's so adorable and I like the art style. It's so fluffy and big so I can't imagine it dangling from my bag as a charm... unless I suddenly become interested in Harajuku style haha.

I was inspecting the toy until I accidentally rolled the eyeballs and I almost screamed LOOOOL. I didn't know you can change the eyes so this was a big surprise to me. Straight up freaking creepy dude.

This is the second eye style. It reminds me of my cat's eyes.

Yeah whatever haha in that case it can go fuck itself. :D

It's now on my desk and I don't know where to put it yet or how to make it stand. Some put them in a protective case or something but I'd like to see and touch it from time to time. :D

I also have 2 other ones from the same manufacturer but different series. It's called Laura Chinese Style. I don't collect toys as well but this is also something I didn't expect I'd like doing. I have a desk and a computer and it has a bit of a space inside where I can put toys so I was thinking that would be the purpose haha.

One of them is sitting inside now and I thought it would look cute but now it looks like she's begging to get out. :P
