I didn't want to end the week without congratulating you all for the Gamer's day and talking about my faithful companion. She is almost 6 years old with me, but she is going to be 5 years in operation this coming December, which is still quite a lot. All my life I have been a gamer with video game consoles, although PC games have always been present, but never as I have had them on, for example, PlayStation. I still remember when the RAM memory was increased to 32 MB, to be able to play well the first Tomb Raider XD.
It's amazing that after a lifetime of playing on video game consoles, I am now very happy playing on PC. Although I have previously played many games on pc, since this little baby arrived, things have been very different. We have fought great battles together, I have rarely pushed her to the limit and I have been surprised how she has allowed me to play current games, even when I need more RAM.
I am clear that it will gradually offer me less performance in current games, but as that happens, I have nothing left but to be grateful for allowing me to participate in great adventures, even in the darkest times we face in the country, in the times of pandemic, and in those difficult times where video games were an escape. Mi fiel compañera | Feliz dia del gamer
No quería que terminara la semana, sin felicitarlos a todos por el día del Gamer y hablar de mi fiel compañera. Ya tiene casi los 6 años conmigo, pero funcionando va a cumplir los 5 años en este diciembre que viene, que igual es bastante. Toda la vida he sido jugador con consolas de videojuegos, aunque los juegos en PC siempre han estado presentes, pero nunca como los he tenido en, por ejemplo, PlayStation. Aún recuerdo cuando se amplió la memoria RAM a 32 MB, para poder jugar bien al primer Tomb Raider XD.
Es increíble que luego de tener toda una vida jugando con consolas de videojuegos, ahora soy muy feliz jugando en PC. Aunque anteriormente he jugado en pc muchos juegos, desde que llego esta pequeña bebe, las cosas han sido muy diferentes. Hemos luchado grandes batallas juntos, pocas veces la he llevado al límite y me ha sorprendido como me ha permitido jugar juegos actuales, aun cuando necesito más RAM.
Estoy claro que poco a poco me va a ir ofreciendo menor rendimiento en los juegos actuales, pero a medida que eso sucede, no me queda nada más que ser agradecido por permitirme participar de grandes aventuras, incluso en los tiempos más oscuros que afrontamos en el país, en los tiempos de pandemia y en esos tiempos difíciles donde los videojuegos fueron un escape. ¡Gracias Sapphire Radeon RX580 nitro+!
