¿Economía o Calidad? | Licuadora Oster (Esp-Eng)

En esta oportunidad comparto con ustedes algo que para muchos puede que sea un poco insignificante, pero que para mí es importante.

Hace un tiempo atrás compartí con ustedes una receta de un Mousse de Maracuya, para hacer ese dulce tuve que reparar la licuadora, limpiarla y hacerle mantenimiento, pero la mala noticia es que no duró mucho, no a causa de mi trabajo, si no a lo malo de su motor.

Al ser una marca económica su motor no era de mucha potencia o como decimos de aguante, además de eso el vaso era de plastico y estaba cuarteado, ya que la señora Eli (mi esposa) le metía hielo e incluso cosas calientes a la licuadora, ella cree que eso es una maquina indestructible jeje.

This time I share with you something that for many may be a bit insignificant, but for me it is important.

Some time ago I shared with you a recipe for a Maracuya Mousse, to make this sweet I had to repair the blender, clean it and do maintenance, but the bad news is that it did not last long, not because of my work, but because of the bad engine.

Being an economic brand, its motor was not very powerful or as we say of endurance, besides that the glass was made of plastic and was cracked, since Mrs. Eli (my wife) put ice and even hot things in the blender, she believes that it is an indestructible machine hehe.

Hace un tiempo atrás mi epsosa y yo estuvimos viendo la posibilidad de comprar una freidora de aire, pues leemos en la comunidad algunas buenas experiencias, salimos el domingo sin pensar en esa idea y camino al laboratorio lo comenzamos a hablar.

Teniamos que hacerle unos examenes a nuestra segunda hija (mi esposa les hablará de ello), y resulta que pensamos que ibamos a gastar más y la sorpresa fue que tuvimos un buen ahorro, entonces dijimos vamos por la freidora.

En el camino la voz de la conciencia habló y dijimos pero también necesitamos una licuadora, por que nos gusta darle jugos, cremas y hacer batidos a los niños, entonces pusimos sobre una balanza que necesitabamos más, tuvimos que elegir y compramos la licuadora.

Caminamos muchísimo, no por que no hubieran licuadoras en las tiendas de electrodomésticos, si no por que ya no queríamos cualquier marca o ahorrar en gastos que al futuro son más gastos, queríamos una oster y no paramos hasta conseguirla.

Some time ago my epsosa and I were looking at the possibility of buying an air fryer, as we read in the community some good experiences, we went out on Sunday without thinking about that idea and on the way to the lab we started talking about it.

We had to do some tests to our second daughter (my wife will tell you about it), and it turns out that we thought we were going to spend more and the surprise was that we had a good saving, so we said let's go for the air fryer.

On the way the voice of conscience spoke and we said but we also need a blender, because we like to give juices, creams and make smoothies to the kids, so we put on a scale that we needed more, we had to choose and we bought the blender.

We walked a long way, not because there were no blenders in the appliance shops, but because we didn't want just any brand or to save on expenses that in the future are more expenses, we wanted an oster and we didn't stop until we got it.

La marca Oster es una muy reconocida, recuerdo que mi mamá e incluso mis suegros tienen Oster en casa y siempre han tenido años esos electrodomésticos y siguen funcionando, además el motor es potente y duradero, lo cual me hace confiar en esta marca por su reputación, pero nos fue difícil conseguirla aquí por su costo, la gente prefiere siempre lo económico. La nuestra en oferta costó $87.

En el camino compré unas maracuya, galletas, leche condensada, crema de leche, ya que no hay nada mejor que probar una licuadora que con un dulce de maracuya, también compré unas fresas y leche liquida, para hacer unos batidos a los niños me gusta complacerlos.

Al llegar a casa, hubo un pequeño y sano debate en que si hacer un unboxing de una licuadora y decimos que no, ya que solo es una licuadora jeje y preferimos tomar solo fotos y usarla, no por tenerla por menos nosotros, ya que nos era de necesidad y será de utilidad, si no por que era algo como gracioso, un unboxing de una licuadora jeje.

The Oster brand is a very well known brand, I remember that my mum and even my in-laws have Oster at home and they have always had those appliances for years and they still work, plus the motor is powerful and durable, which makes me trust this brand because of its reputation, but it was difficult for us to get it here because of its cost, people always prefer the economical. Ours on offer cost $87.

On the way I bought some maracuya, biscuits, condensed milk, milk cream, as there is nothing better than trying a blender than with a maracuya sweet, I also bought some strawberries and liquid milk, to make some milkshakes for the kids I like to please them.

When we got home, there was a small and healthy debate on whether to make a unboxing of a blender and we say no, since it is only a blender hehe and we prefer to take just pictures and use it, not to have it for less us, since it was of necessity and will be useful, if not because it was something like funny, a unboxing of a blender hehe.

Aquí les muestro las partes de la licuadora, su motor no es de una sola velocidad como otra que hay, esta tiene tres velocidades. Su vaso es de vidrio, esperemos aguante un tiempo y no sufra tanto con su dueña.

A diferencia de algunas licuadoras de otras marcas, con esta Oster tenemos hasta un año de Garantía, lo cual nos da más confianza a la hora de comprar un electrodoméstico, equipo tecnológico o cualquier otra cosa, a nosotros como clientes, pues nos indica que mientras más tiempo dure la garantía, más vida útil tiene eso que compramos.

En otras tiendas nos ofrecieron marcas con solo tres y seis meses de garantía, eran más económicas y todo eso suma una gran desventaja y como dice el refrán popular "lo barato muchas veces sale caro", así que preferimos irnos por lo seguro.

Here I show you the parts of the blender, its motor is not a single speed like other blenders out there, this one has three speeds. Its glass beaker is made of glass, hopefully it will last for a while and will not suffer so much with its owner.

Unlike some blenders from other brands, with this Oster we have up to a year's warranty, which gives us more confidence when buying an appliance, technological equipment or anything else, to us as customers, as it indicates that the longer the warranty lasts, the longer the life of what we buy.

In other shops we were offered brands with only three and six months warranty, they were cheaper and all that adds up to a big disadvantage and as the popular saying goes "cheap often comes out expensive", so we prefer to go for what is safe.

Yo estrené la licuadora, como dije al iniciar, con un rico dulce maracuya, arriba les compartí el enlace de la receta. Los ingredientes fueron comprados pensado en ello, en llegar a casa y hacerlo, así fue y aquí la muestra de ello.

También hice para los niños un batido de fresas, esto si fue algo estresante aunque parezca simple, dado que los niños querían algo rápido, pero debí esperar que se congelara la leche y así poder hacerlo. Debo confensar que la espera duró demasiado jeje, así que lo pudieron disfrutar fue al día siguente.

I used the blender for the first time, as I said at the beginning, with a delicious sweet maracuya, above I shared the link to the recipe. The ingredients were bought with that in mind, to get home and make it, and here is a sample of it.

I also made a strawberry milkshake for the kids, this was a bit stressful although it seems simple, as the kids wanted something quick, but I had to wait for the milk to freeze so I could make it. I must confess that the wait was too long hehe, so they could enjoy it the next day.

Sinceramente estoy contento con esta adquisición, como dije para muchos puede parecer simple, pero para mí significa algo provechoso, ya se podrán hacer nuevamente las cremas de verduras y espinacas para Joaquín, los batidos, helados, postres fríos y además jugos saludables que acompañen sus comidas.

Para mí en especial, se vienen los batidos verdes, quiero cuidar mi salud, limpiar mi organismo y bajar un poco de peso, así que ya tenía las recetas, solo me faltaba la licuadora, ahora solo queda poner manos a la obra.

I am sincerely happy with this acquisition, as I said, for many it may seem simple, but for me it means something useful, now I can make vegetable and spinach creams for Joaquín, smoothies, ice creams, cold desserts and healthy juices to accompany his meals.

For me in particular, the green smoothies are coming, I want to take care of my health, cleanse my body and lose a little weight, so I already had the recipes, I only needed the blender, now I just have to get down to work.

Pieso que a la hora de comprar un electrodoméstico debemos evaluar la necesidad y utilidad que le daremos, pudiendo escoger lo que realmente necesitamos en ese momento. No digo que no compraremos la freidora de aire, hemos estado algo limitados económicamente por muchos factores y tuvimos que poner las cosas sobre una balanza, además tenemos un buen horno y nos gusta usarlo.

En un futuro esperamos no muy lejano quizás compremos la freidora y probablemente pase más guardada que en uso o siendo muy usada. Ya lo veremos.

I think that when buying an appliance we should evaluate the need and utility that we will give it, being able to choose what we really need at that moment. I am not saying that we will not buy the air fryer, we have been somewhat limited economically by many factors and we had to put things on a scale, plus we have a good oven and we like to use it.

In the hopefully not too distant future we may buy the fryer and it will probably spend more time in storage than in use or being used a lot. We'll see.
