Hey guys, what's up! I wanted to share an app with you that, although I understand it's been around for a while, I only recently discovered by chance when it popped up in some ads. I did some research and ended up downloading it. It's a karaoke app—yes, you read that right, a karaoke app. Although, technically, it's more than that, since it works like any social network, with interactions, rewards, and even monetization. However, I personally prefer using it for fun and tracking my progress rather than anything else.

Me gustaría compartir con ustedes una aplicación que a pesara de que tengo entendido lleva ya mucho tiempo en circulación yo la descubrí recientemente y por casualidad, cuando me apareció en unos anuncios, me puse a investigar un poco más sobre ella y al final decidí descargarla. Se trata de una aplicación de karaoke, sí, así como lo lees, una aplicación de karaoke, aunque bueno, técnicamente es más que eso ya que funciona como cualquier red social, con interacciones, premios y hasta monetización, sin embargo en mi caso me gusta mucho más usarla por diversión y medición de progresos que para otra cosa.

While exploring the platform, I came across the option to sing, and I was surprised to see the number of resources available for editing sound, so I recorded my first cover, "Mala Hierba" by Alejandra Guzmán. At that time, I didn't know how to use the editing platform, so I left it with the standard sound, which honestly had a lot of reverb (or echo). Without even realizing it, I uploaded the cover. I noticed it from the notifications I saw. In a short time—in fact, in just a few minutes—the cover had already reached 244 views, 6 gifts, 113 likes, and 7 comments. This made me want to investigate further... Gifts? What exactly does that mean?
Les contaré sobre mi experiencia. Mientras exploraba la plataforma di con la opción de cantar, y me sorprendió ver cantidad de recursos que hay para editar el sonido, así que grabé mi primer Cover, "Mala Hierba" de Alejandra Guzmán. En ese entonces yo no sabía como usar la plataforma de edición así que lo dejé con sonido estándar que la verdad contenía mucho rever (o eco) y sin querer, sin saber siquiera como hacerlo yo publiqué el cover, me di cuenta por las notificaciones que vi, en poco tiempo, de hecho en pocos minutos el cover ya había alcanzado 244 reproducciones, 6 regalos, 113 me gusta y 7 comentarios, así que esto me hizo querer indagar más... ¿regalos? ¿A qué se refiere exactamente?
For every cover I started uploading, I received many of these "Gifts." Back then, when I checked the gifts section, I had about 29 stars, which, as far as I understand, are used to give gifts to other users or can even be redeemed when you have a certain amount.
Por cada Cover que empecé a subir yo recibí muchos de estos "Regalos" en ese entonces cuando revisé el apartado de regalos yo tenía unas 29 estrellas que, según lo que tengo entendido, sirven para dar regalos a otros usuarios o incluso se pueden llegar a canjear cuando tienes cierta cantidad determinada.
But I also realized that the app has a reward system for daily tasks with various features, such as watching another user's live stream for about 3 minutes, sending gifts to other users, singing duets (yes, you can also record duet covers), or simply watching ads. This earns you silver coins that can later be redeemed, but to be completely honest, I still don't know how to redeem these coins or if it's true that you can exchange them for real money, since what really motivates me is the act of recording covers itself. It's super fun, and once I figured out the right way to do it, I started recording and uploading more songs.
Pero también me di cuenta de que la aplicación cuenta con un sistema de recompensas por tareas diarias con varias funciones como Ver un en vivo de otro usuario por al rededor de 3 minutos, enviar regalos a otros usuarios, cantar a dúo (Sí, también puedes grabar covers a duo) o simplemente ver anuncios, est te va otorgando monedas de plata que posteriormente pueden ser canjeadas, pero si les soy totalmente honesta aún ignoro como se pueden canjear estas monedas o si es cierto que puedes llegar a canjearlas por dinero real, ya que lo que realmente me motiva es el hecho en sí de grabar covers, es super divertido, y una vez que descubrí la manera correcta de hacerlo comencé a grabar y a subir más canciones.
So far, this is my ranking list: I've been in the top 10 exactly 10 times, in the top 5 12 times, and in the number one spot 10 times. While that's not bad, I'm much more excited about the learning itself. You learn many interesting things on the platform, and as I mentioned, you can also interact with other people. For example, there are "Families," which are groups with other users where you can interact in various ways, from simply chatting to making duet songs.
Hasta ahora esta es mi lista de rankings: he estado en los tops 10 exactamente 10 veces, en el top 5 12 veces y en el top número uno 10 veces, y aunque no está mal a mi me entusiasma mucho más el hecho en si de aprender, se aprenden muchas cosas interesantes dentro de la plataforma, y tal como les dije también pueden interactuar con otras personas, por ejemplo hay "Familias" que son grupos con otros usuarios en los cuales se puede interactuar de diversas maneras, desde simplemente conversar hasta hacer canciones a dúo.

En ese entonces como apenas estaba iniciando mi nivel de actividad era muy bajo pero luego se fue incrementando gradualmente.
