Descubriendo los beneficios de mi nuevo rango en la Alianza [Esp/Eng]

:peakd/hive:Hola nuevamente, personitas. ¿Cómo va todo por acá?

Hace unos días les había contado que me uní a una alianza nueva, aprovechando al máximo estas últimas actualizaciones que están sacando antes de que el juego cierre definitivamente. Les confieso que al principio me sentí un poco desanimada porque, a pesar del esfuerzo, no logramos quedar entre los tres mejores clanes de la semana.

Después de esa semana tan intensa de peleas, decidí despegarme un poco de las pantallas y descansar la vista un par de días. Pero la sorpresa me la llevé cuando volví a entrar al juego. Me habían subido de rango. Pasé de ser una simple soldado a Teniente de la alianza.

No se imaginan la emoción que me dio. Justo ahora que volvió la semana de combates, me puse las pilas para ver si este nuevo rango cambiaba algo en mis batallas. Al terminar la primera, me quedé un poco confundida porque las recompensas personales se veían igual, me dieron las mismas 2 fichas de siempre.

A few days ago, I told you that I joined a new alliance, making the most of these latest updates they're rolling out before the game shuts down for good. I have to admit that at first I felt a little discouraged because, despite our best efforts, we didn't manage to make it into the top three clans of the week.

After such an intense week of battles, I decided to take a break from screens and give my eyes a rest for a couple of days. But I was in for a surprise when I logged back into the game. I’d been promoted. I went from being a simple soldier to a Lieutenant in the Alliance.

You can't imagine how excited I was. With Battle Week back in full swing, I really got down to business to see if this new rank would make a difference in my battles. When the first one ended, I was a little confused because the personal rewards looked the same—I got the same two tokens as always.

Pero aquí viene lo interesante: cuando entré al panel de la alianza, vi que mi aporte no era de 2, sino de 3 fichas. Al principio pensé que era un error del juego o que había visto mal, así que me jugué una segunda batalla para sacarme la duda, y efectivamente, al ganar la segunda, el juego marcó 3 fichas más y ya llevaba 6 sumadas para el equipo con solo dos peleas.

But here's the interesting part: when I logged into the alliance dashboard, I saw that my contribution wasn't 2 tokens, but 3. At first, I thought it was a glitch in the game or that I had misread it, so I played a second battle to be sure—and sure enough, when I won the second one, the game added 3 more tokens, bringing my total to 6 for the team after just two battles.

Al final, ser Teniente sí que marca la diferencia. Ese puntito extra por batalla parece poco, pero ayuda muchísimo a que la alianza sume lo necesario para intentar alcanzar ese top 3 o incluso llevarnos el trofeo. Me tiene muy motivada este nuevo rol, así que a darle con todo esta semana.

In the end, being a Lieutenant really does make a difference. That little extra point per battle might not seem like much, but it goes a long way toward helping the alliance rack up the points we need to try to make it into the top 3—or even take home the trophy. I’m really excited about this new role, so let’s give it our all this week.
