Está aplicación se llama Letterboxd está tanto en Android como en versión web así que la puedes usar de ambas maneras. La descubrí en 2016 gracias a un tweet que ví de una persona que le gustaba al igual que a mi ver películas y me di cuenta de que era una página bastante completa y divertida así que decidí crearme una cuenta, el caso es que por diversas circunstancias perdí la cuenta por mucho tiempo de inactividad supongo. Pero hace más de un año me cree una cuenta nueva y volví a darme cuenta de que está aplicación es genial y me encanta estar revisando para ver qué hay de nuevo en el mundo del cine. 🎞️

Para comenzar abrir una cuenta en Letterboxd es muy fácil, tal vez lo único complicado para algunas personas puede ser que está todo en inglés pero no es difícil entenderlo e incluso si no lo entiendes puedes buscar un traductor. Debes crearte tu cuenta con un nombre de usuario y una contraseña, te llegará un mensaje a tu correo para confirmarlo y listo ya tendrías tu cuenta para comenzar. Lo primero que veremos en el inicio de esta aplicación es que tiene una interfaz muy fácil de usar y en la pantalla de inicio te muestra la variedad de películas de distintos géneros que están populares en el momento.

También te muestra una barra a tu lado izquierdo dónde podrás ver diferentes opciones de tu perfil como por ejemplo Profile que es tu perfIL dónde podrás poner tus películas favoritas, ver tus seguidores y a quienes tú sigues, ver tus Listas que son eso, listas tuyas o de personas que las crearon y tú les diste like. Watchlist es la opción que más me gustó desde el comienzo y que me llamo la atención, porque en esta opción puedes ver todas las películas que quieras ver y las tienes ahí guardadas para cuando quieras verlas y eso es algo increíble porque tienes como un diario. También hay una opción que se llama Diario en dónde se van guardando las fechas del día en el que viste alguna película e incluso puedes repetir la película y volver a guardarla. Puedes darle like a tus películas favoritas y dejar tus reseñas sobre ellas. También puedes ver las reseñas de otras personas y divertirte un rato porque es muy entretenido ver lo que los demás piensan de ciertas películas. Cabe mencionar que algunas veces suelen ser muy críticos al darle si voto a una película los miembros de la comunidad, a veces he encontrado películas que son increíblemente buenas y tienen un porcentaje de votos muy bajo, pero bueno hay un sin fin de personas, gustos y variedad para todo el mundo.

Watchlist is the option that I liked the most from the beginning and that caught my attention, because in this option you can see all the movies you want to see and you have them saved there for when you want to see them and that is something incredible because you have like a diary. There is also an option called Diary where you can save the dates of the day you watched a movie and you can even repeat the movie and save it again. You can like your favorite movies and leave your reviews about them. You can also see other people's reviews and have fun for a while because it is very entertaining to see what others think about certain movies. It is worth mentioning that sometimes members of the community tend to be very critical when voting for a movie, sometimes I have found movies that are incredibly good and have a very low percentage of votes, but well there are endless people, tastes and variety for everyone.
Lo que más me gusta de la aplicación es que es muy sencilla y fácil de usar, además de que puedo llevar una especie de diario y guardar las películas que más me gustan, encontrar películas por genero, director, actores y eso es algo muy genial porque a veces quiero saber sobre un actor y sus papeles en películas y me llevo muchas sorpresas al darme cuenta de que hay más películas en las que han salido. El hecho de que pueda dejar una reseña con mi opinión también me parece algo bueno, también el poder compartir con otras personas a través de comentarios y de likes me agrada. Tanto la versión web como la aplicación son muy buenas, hay algunas personas que prefieren verlo por la página, antes yo lo hacía así pero por la aplicación hay más facilidad de que si estás en cualquier lugar o incluso el cine puedas meterte en la app y guardar alguna película. Las personas en Letterboxd son muy sinceras a la hora de dejar sus likes y reseñas y algunas veces puede que encuentres a muchos que se sientan como tú respecto a alguna película o serie, si, también se pueden encontrar series en esta página y app, está muy bien eso. Mi usuario es
