¡Hola queridos amigos Geeks! El día de hoy quiero compartir con ustedes una nueva adquisición que forma parte ahora de mi puesto de trabajo. Muchas veces compramos y compramos cosas, muchas de estas cosas son importantes, pero para que se mantengan en el tiempo hay que hacer otras cosas más e invertir un poco más.
Entre esas cosas fundamentales, lo que tenemos que cuidar más es nuestra principal herramienta de trabajo, que en mi caso es mi laptop. Para nadie es un secreto que nuestras laptops tienden a calentarse mucho y una de las recomendaciones es colocarlas encima de una base con ventiladores que la mantengan fresca.

A mí solía ocurrirme que en el medio de una partida de algún juego que me consumiera bastantes recursos, como por ejemplo, Genshin Impact, se me apagara por completo la laptop. Esta fue la principal razón por la que sabía que necesitaba un cooling pad y me lancé a la búsqueda. Había muy pocas en el mercado, y las que existían no me daban buena espina porque las veía muy endebles, así que me aguanté. Un día paseando por mi centro comercial de confianza, en el que he comprado todos mis aparatos tecnológicos en los últimos dos años, me conseguí que nuestro querido José había traído esta base que les traigo hoy, había pasado mucho tiempo desde que había visto la última y cuando la vi recordé que esto era lo que necesitaba, mucho más que lo otro que estaba buscando. Así que saqué mi celular, revisé mi cuenta y vi que si podía comprarla, y aquí está. Les comparto mi Cooling Pad i-Star para laptop.

La cooling pad para laptops vino en su caja muy bien empacada y con el envoltorio de burbujas del que por supuesto se antojó mi sobrino. Cuando la abrí por completo y saqué el contenido vi que además del pad, tenía un cable USB y el manual de uso.

Consta de un pad con una rejilla, en el interior de este pad se encuentran 5 ventiladores de 2500RPM cada uno repartidos que son los que mantienen fresca la laptop al disipar el aire caliente que emana el aparato. Además, tiene unas molduras para ajustar la base en 5 ángulos de diferentes alturas, así podemos escoger el que mejor se nos acomode.
Por un lado, podemos observar dos cosas importantes: Dos puertos USB, uno es para conectar el pad a la laptop, y en el otro podemos conectar cualquier cosa que queramos, al ocupar un espacio de la laptop, esta sería como la opción libre para seguir conectando cosas allí. Otra cosa que tenemos es un par de roscas para aumentar y disminuir la velocidad de los ventiladores, e incluso si queremos, podemos apagar la mitad de ellos o todos.

Una vez conectada la laptop, procedí a montarla en el pad, esta se sostiene con una placa que se incrusta en la parte baja del pad y queda perfecta. Esta base es para laptops hasta de 15,6” casualmente es el tamaño de la mía, así que quedó perfecta.
Así va quedando mi set, poco a poco va tomando más forma, una de las próximas cosas que necesito es una mesa propiamente dicha, la cual espero tener este año, con una altura adecuada y en la que quepan todas mis cosas. Por ahora me acomodo muy bien con lo que tengo. Tengo el Pad desde hace dos meses aproximadamente y nunca se me ha apagado la laptop, así que realmente ha sido una muy buena inversión.

It used to happen to me that in the middle of a game that consumed a lot of resources, such as Genshin Impact, my laptop would completely shut down. This was the main reason why I knew I needed a cooling pad and I started looking for one. There were very few on the market, and the ones that did exist didn't look good to me because they were too flimsy, so I put up with it. One day walking through my trusted shopping center, where I have bought all my technological devices in the last two years, I found that our dear Jose had brought this base that I bring you today, it had been a long time since I had seen the last one and when I saw it I remembered that this was what I needed, much more than the other thing I was looking for. So I pulled out my cell phone, checked my account and saw that I could buy it, and here it is. I share with you my i-Star Cooling Pad for laptop.

The cooling pad for laptops came in its box nicely packaged and with the bubble wrap that of course my nephew craved. When I opened it completely and took out the contents I saw that in addition to the pad, it had a USB cable and the user manual.

It consists of a pad with a grid, inside this pad there are 5 fans of 2500RPM each distributed that are the ones that keep the laptop cool by dissipating the hot air emanating from the device. In addition, it has moldings to adjust the base in 5 angles of different heights, so we can choose the one that best suits us.
On one side, we can observe two important things: Two USB ports, one is to connect the pad to the laptop, and in the other one we can connect anything we want, by occupying a space of the laptop, this would be like the free option to keep connecting things there. Another thing we have is a couple of threads to increase and decrease the speed of the fans, and even if we want, we can turn off half of them or all of them.

Once the laptop was connected, I proceeded to mount it on the pad, this is supported by a plate that is embedded in the bottom of the pad and is perfect. This base is for laptops up to 15.6" and coincidentally is the size of mine, so it was perfect.
This is how my set is looking, little by little it is taking more shape, one of the next things I need is a proper table, which I hope to have this year, with a suitable height and in which all my stuff can fit. For now I'm getting along very well with what I have. I've had the Pad for about two months now and I've never had my laptop shut down, so it's really been a very good investment.
