Espero que super super bien, yo hace unos días me puse a pensar diferentes cosas sobre las apps que existen actualmente para ayudarte a estudiar otros idiomas ¿De verdad funcionan? ¿Hasta que nivel de inglés te llevan? ¿Cuáles apps son más mejores? Y con eso llegué a oensar en una de las más famosas, duolingo, a base de eso hice algunas investigaciones para ver si me era apropiado descargarla o no. Sin más, hoy quiero hablarles de la razón por la que para mi, duolingo no es tan buena como se habla

Which apps are the best? And with that I came to think about one of the most famous ones, duolingo, based on that I did some research to see if it was appropriate for me to download it or not. Without further ado, today I want to tell you the reason why for me, duolingo is not as good as it is talked about.

Pero, que es lo que encontré de duolingo que me hace pensar que no funciona tan bien

Actualmente es muy común ver a personas con rachas de hasta 2 años o mas dentro de la app, entrando todos los días para mantener sus preciadas rachas, pero algo que no se ha entendido bien por parte del público, es que el tema de la racha y de la competitividad a ver quien queda primero en los retos internos de la app, solo incentivan la competencia y no un real aprendizaje

Lo normal es que si tienes tanto tiempo usando una app de tu idioma seleccionado, deberías poder comunicarte en el idioma, por lo menos lo más básico, pero esto es lo que la mayoría de usuarios de esta app no tienen, no logran comunicarse en su idioma seleccionado por más que hagan pruebas

The normal thing is that if you have so much time using an app of your selected language, you should be able to communicate in the language, at least the basics, but this is what most users of this app do not have, they do not manage to communicate in their selected language no matter how many tests they do.
No me mal entiendan, no creo que la app sea mala o tenga un mal sistema, esta puede funcionar te bien si estas empezando pro primera vez en tu vida con el idioma, pero ya luego de avanzar un poco, no puedes pensar en seguir usando exclusivamente esta app

Algo bueno que si se puede hacer, es usar la app mientras lo complementas con clases presenciales del idioma, o con lecturas diarias de libros en el mismo idioma, esto si puede llevarte a que en poco tiempo aprendas el idioma y puedas tener conversaciones largas con el mismo
Something good that you can do, is to use the app while you complement it with face-to-face classes of the language, or with daily readings of books in the same language, this can lead you to learn the language in a short time and be able to have long conversations with the same language.
Entonces, ¿Recomiendo esta app? Si la recomendaría, mientras sea complementada con otro tipo de aprendizaje. Para aprender un idioma, necesitas escucharlo, escribirlo y entenderlo todos los días, no sólo 5 minutos en duolingo. Existen muchas otras apps que pueden ayudarte además de esta, como elsa speak, la cual te ayudará con tu pronunciación y a sonar como un nativo
So, do I recommend this app? Yes, I would recommend it, as long as it is complemented with other types of learning. To learn a language, you need to listen to it, write it and understand it every day, not just 5 minutes on duolingo. There are many other apps that can help you besides this one, such as elsa speak, which will help you with your pronunciation and sound like a native speaker.
