Hello Everyone, my name is Josce Trillanes, but you can call me Jo. I am a full time mom with my one and only son at the same time wearing other hats as a Virtual Assistant and aspiring ESL Teacher and now a Hive Blog writer.
When I became a mother, It changed my perspective on many things. Being a mom thought me a lot, how to be patience and how to be strong during difficult days.
Being a mom of this little cutie (my son) my priorities changed. All I wanted is to give my time, love and effort every single day.
I give up my growing career in corporate job. I resigned as a Purchasing Supervisor where I spent over 13 years working on my career from administrative staff to Supervisory roles in a private company.
I learned how important organization, communication and dedication are in any job.
Working in that environment helped me develop valuable skills such as multitasking, problem-solving, and and attention to detail. I always believe in giving my best in every responsibility given to me because hard work and consistency are things I truly value.
All mother wanted to be present for their family all the time, my focus shifted on taking care of my family. But I realize being a mother doesn’t mean putting my dreams on hold. It means finding smart ways to secure my family’s future while still enjoying the life we’re working hard to build.
That’s when I started exploring the remote work. I discovered the role of a Virtual Assistant. I attended several trainings on how to become a Virrtual Assitant then luckily I got a client even if it is a part time only.
At the same time, I am now an aspiring ESL Teacher, I have a ongoing training to develop my teaching skills.
Right now, I”m not just a mother, I consider myself a work in progress, someone who is continously learning, improving and growing.
