I am the youngest of four siblings, and I was raised in a respectful, loving, and close-knit family. Growing up, my parents made sure that we understood the importance of respect, humility, and strong family values. Because of this, family has always been very meaningful to me. Everything I am today is deeply rooted in how I was raised, and I will always be grateful for the guidance and love my parents gave us.
Today, I am blessed with a small but happy family of my own. I have a three year old son who is my greatest inspiration and the reason I keep moving forward no matter how difficult life becomes. I also have a hardworking husband who continuously supports and motivates me. Together, we dream of giving our child a better future. In short, we may be a little family, but we are filled with big dreams, hope, and determination.
To help support my family and provide for my son’s needs, I started a small business. This business is more than just a source of income it is my way of being responsible, independent, and proactive as a mother. I want to ensure that my son grows up with everything he needs, not just materially but also emotionally, by seeing his parents work hard and never give up. My parents have also been very supportive of us. Even though they are working abroad, they continue to give us encouragement, guidance, and help whenever they can. Their sacrifices allow us to live life with strength and purpose.
However, life tested us in a way I never expected. In 2023, a tragedy suddenly changed everything. After attending the third mass at church, I met an accident outside the church premises. I slipped and fell down the stairs while holding my son. The fall caused a fracture in my left ankle, and the pain was unbearable. What hurt me even more was seeing my son in shock and fear during that moment. People rushed us to the hospital immediately, and unfortunately, my parents were not there because they were abroad at that time.
That incident felt like a nightmare. In an instant, my world turned upside down. Our finances dropped to zero, and the emotional and physical challenges felt overwhelming. I struggled not only with the injury but also with the fear of how we would survive and recover as a family. Yet, that tragedy became my strongest armor. It taught me how to stay calm in chaos, how to be strong even when I felt weak, and how to trust myself despite uncertainty.
As I recovered, I made a firm decision to stand up again not just for myself, but for my family. I focused more on rebuilding our financial stability by working harder on my small business and to apply for a job. At the same time, I searched for ways to grow, learn new skills, and open more opportunities. This led me to discover Hive, a platform that allowed me to express myself and broaden my knowledge.
I realized that I truly enjoy writing and creating blogs. While casually scrolling through social media, I came across a post by And
I was onboarded by them. We connected , and they generously guided me through the basics of Hive. Through their help and the Hive community, I learned how to be more creative, realistic, and smart in everything I do. Hive became not just a platform for earning, but a place where I could grow personally and mentally.
This story is only the beginning of my journey. I am still learning, still healing, and still striving to build a better life. With faith, perseverance, and love for my family, I believe that every hardship has a purpose and every dream is worth fighting for.
