Greetings, FOH Fam! Hello Hive Universe! Let me share to you one memorable food adventure. Location is of course, Bulacan, specifically Hagonoy.
There’s something heartwarming about days that begin with prayer and end with good food. My boyfriend and I recently spent a quiet morning at the National Shrine of Saint Anne in Hagonoy, Bulacan, a place that radiates peace and devotion. After soaking in the solemn beauty of the shrine, our stomachs reminded us it was time for lunch. Luckily, just a few steps away stood District 9 Food Corner, a cozy spot that promised comfort and flavor.
The menu was a feast for the eyes, but I knew exactly what I wanted, dinakdakan, my all-time favorite. My boyfriend went for the honey glazed chicken, and we both chose blue lemonade to cool off. The moment our plates arrived, we were stunned by the presentation and aroma. My dinakdakan was creamy, smoky, and perfectly seasoned, hands down the best I’ve ever had. His honey glazed chicken was tender, sweet, and addictive. We kept stealing bites from each other’s plates, laughing and savoring every mouthful.
A Place Worth Returning To
District 9 Food Corner didn’t just satisfy our hunger. It added flavor to our day and warmth to our memories. If we ever find ourselves in Hagonoy again, we’ll definitely drop by for another round. For anyone visiting the shrine, don’t miss the chance to treat your taste buds after feeding your soul. Trust me, blessings and bites make the perfect pair. 😇
