Hello Hive Fam, most especially to my fellow Filipino Hive bloggers—sending you all warmth and solidarity today. 💖
I’ll be honest. I haven’t been feeling well these past few days. Maybe it’s the weight of personal and family problems I’ve been carrying lately. Since Wednesday, my appetite hasn’t been great, but I remind myself that I need to eat whatever it takes to keep going.
So, this morning, I decided to cook something simple yet comforting: fried chicken. I paired it with fried rice made from last night’s leftover rice—because nothing goes to waste in a Filipino household! And of course, no breakfast of mine feels complete without my special dragon fruit coffee. That little burst of color and flavor always gives me a tiny spark of joy, even when I’m not at my best.
It wasn’t a fancy meal, but it was enough to remind me that even small acts of self-care—like cooking breakfast—can be a step toward healing.
Thank you, Hive Fam, for taking the time to read my little breakfast story. Writing here always makes me feel lighter, knowing I’m sharing my journey with such a supportive community. To my co-Filipino Hive bloggers, I hope you’re also finding strength in your own ways. Let’s continue to uplift each other, one post at a time. 💪✨
