Hello Hive Fam, most especially to my fellow Filipino Hive blog writers! Kumusta kayo? I hope everyone is doing well and finding joy in both work and play. Today, I want to share a lighthearted story that happened right here at home while I was busy with my online freelancing jobs.
As many of you know, balancing freelancing with personal life can sometimes mean we miss out on the little things happening around us. Yesterday, while I was deeply focused in front of my laptop, Cardo, my fluffy Chow Chow fur baby, was quietly entertaining himself. When I finally stood up to grab a glass of water in the kitchen, I was greeted by a hilarious sight: Cardo was nudging his nose at what I thought was a lifeless cockroach.
At first, I assumed the poor insect had already given up. But to my surprise, after a few minutes, the cockroach twitched and moved, though still lying flat on its back. Cardo, with his curious and playful nature, seemed fascinated by this tiny opponent. It was such a funny and unexpected moment that I couldn’t resist capturing it with a photo and a short video, which I’m excited to share here with you.
Moments like these remind me that even in the middle of deadlines and online hustle, our pets bring us laughter, companionship, and stories worth telling. Cardo may be a Chow Chow with a regal look, but he’s also a playful soul who finds joy in the simplest things, even a cockroach encounter!
Thank you so much for reading, Hive Fam. Your support and engagement always inspire me to keep sharing these slices of life. Until next time, stay safe, keep smiling, and give your furbabies an extra cuddle from me!
