Yesterday was supposed to be a special day for me and my friends. We had planned a group date—our Valentine’s celebration together. I was excited to go out, meet them, and spend the day catching up. But nature had other plans. From morning until afternoon, the rain poured endlessly, making it impossible for us to push through with our gathering.
Instead of forcing things, we decided to reschedule for another time when all of us are available. It’s a little disappointing, but I believe it will be worth the wait. After all, friendship is not measured by one day but by the many moments we share together.
So, I stayed at home the whole day. The sound of raindrops became my companion, and though it wasn’t the Valentine’s I imagined, it was still a day of quiet reflection. Sometimes, life reminds us to slow down and embrace the calm, even when plans change.
