Una tarde diferente en las gaitas intercolegiales [ESP/ENG]

Hola amigos de Hive account@family&friends ¿cómo están? Por aquí todo bien. Seguimos en los eventos navideños y les cuento que mi hermano está en el grupo de gaitas del colegio donde estudia. Recientemente estuvieron tocando en un local del centro comercial Cerro Verde, en Caracas.

Las gaitas colegiales son una tradición que tienen algunos colegios. Consiste en que cada institución que desea participar en la temporada gaitera que comienza a finales de octubre o inicios de noviembre, elige una temática. Por ejemplo, la temática del colegio de mi hermano abarca las décadas de los setenta, ochenta, noventa y los dos mil.

Los estudiantes que desean participar pueden hacerlo en diferentes áreas, cuerpo de baile, armonía, percusión y canto. Esta preparación comienza desde marzo del mismo año, ya que deben armar un repertorio gaitero que además, se mezcla con canciones relacionadas con la temática elegida. Luego, participan en los festivales gaiteros organizados por cada colegio, donde se otorgan premios como mejor cuerpo de baile, mejor armonía, mejor cuatro, mejor charrasca, mejor voz femenina, entre otros.

En esta ocasión, fue un toque de participación, es decir, no estaban compitiendo con otros colegios por premios. Cada colegio también elige su propia temática. Por ejemplo, este año hubo uno cuya temática fue “Venezuela” y su traje me pareció hermoso, ya que era algo tradicional pero con mucho brillo.

A mí, personalmente, me encantan las gaitas intercolegiales. Ver a todos esos colegios con sus repertorios, sentir la emoción que transmiten y disfrutar del evento es algo maravilloso. Sobre todo, me encanta ver el talento de cada persona en la tarima. Es una gran experiencia y siempre le digo a las personas que, si tienen la oportunidad de vivirla, no la desaprovechen.

College bags are a tradition that some schools have. It consists of each institution that wishes to participate in the game season that begins at the end of October or the beginning of November, chooses a theme. For example, the theme of my brother's school covers the decades of the seventies, eighties, nineties and two thousand.

Students who wish to participate can do so in different areas, dance corps, harmony, percussion and singing. This preparation begins in March of the same year, since they must put together a gaiter repertoire that is also mixed with songs related to the chosen theme. Then, they participate in the bargary festivals organized by each school, where prizes are awarded such as best dance corps, best harmony, best four, best charrasca, best female voice, among others.

On this occasion, it was a touch of participation, that is, they were not competing with other schools for prizes. Each school also chooses its own theme. For example, this year there was one whose theme was "Venezuela" and I thought his costume was beautiful, since it was something traditional but with a lot of brightness.

Personally, I love intercollegiate bags. Seeing all those schools with their repertoires, feeling the emotion they transmit and enjoying the event is something wonderful. Above all, I love to see the talent of each person on the stage. It's a great experience and I always tell people that, if they have the opportunity to live it, don't miss it.
