When I was young, I did not experience going to a big restaurant like what other children experience. I might say and I understand that we must close our eyes in times we see those establishments having that big food chain. We must touch our stomach and might say; we will eat when we got home. My parents are very poor that we must accompany them to go to the farm and work with them. My childhood is on the farm planting rice because that’s the life that we got when we are still young.
I ask my parents when I graduated high school that I want to pursue in college. My parents are hesitant because no one would be capable to send me to college. I cry the whole night and ask God to touch the heart of my mother because I want to have a good life in the future and not just stay in the rice farm. My mother gives me money the next day and told me to enroll in the college in the nearest university in our place.
Luckily, I graduated in college and in take one I got my licensed as a teacher. My parents are very happy because at last a farmer has now a daughter who is now a teacher.
After two years of working as single in a public school, I meet my shining armor and after a year we got married. I told my self that I will let my children experience a life where I didn’t experience when I was young. Before I got married, I make sure my parents have their shelter that they could call their mine.
In 2006, I got married to my husband who are working as a security guard in our nearby town. I could say that building a family is not easy you have to consider many things. I give birth to my eldest son in November 2006, second son in 2010, third son in 2013 and fourth son in 2016. In 2023 I also give birth to my youngest child, and we are all excited because finally we have a baby girl. It’s a blessing that we have her as we pray and claim it to the Lord that he will grant the desire of my heart to have a baby girl.
My nephew also joins our family when his mother work in Hongkong. I am a teacher by profession, and I also bring that passion in raising my children. I am strict in terms of discipline because I know that it should starts at home. Parents should discipline their children in their home and not put the blame to the teacher if they are not nice to everyone. The foundation of the child starts at home.
Today I am a happy family, and I have now a son who studies in my previous University taking Bachelor of Science in Criminology. Thank YOU EVERYONE FOR READING.
