Birthdays are like bookmarks in the journey of our lives, where we celebrate each chapter with the presence and warmth of family and the laughter of friends.
Last October 21, 2023, was one of the big days of our son who extended his 2nd birthday celebration with our closest families and friends. We decided to have the splendid revelry of his birthday last Saturday to ensure that our nearest and dearest families and friends could attend this precious milestone of our little one.
To create a stress-free, gorgeous, and memorable celebration, my husband and I decided to avail a birthday package from his aunt who was the owner of “Camilo’s Event Catering Services”.

Since we had additional funds available, we allocated a budget for this occasion as parents. I know that birthdays don’t always entail grand celebration, but instead, it involves cherishing moments with our loved ones and finding joy in life’s simple pleasures, all while feeling content and fulfilled. Thus, this birthday get-together wasn’t about indulging our son but an opportunity for me as a mom to give him an experience I didn’t have before, regardless of my husband who already had such experience.
Furthermore, it’s a means of satisfying my inner child and realizing that it’s never too late to enjoy this kind of celebration. Hahahaha!
Before the party started, it all began with the sending of invitation cards virtually and personally a week earlier.

Our chosen theme for his second birthday was centered around car-themed decorations. The venue was just at home in my parents-in-law's garage.
The decorator along with his helper, arrived early to prepare everything especially the complete balloon set-up with the theme, arch balloon, and balloon standee.

I was truly impressed by the result. Everything appeared beautiful and well-organized, with a particularly eye-catching appeal to the kids.
At approximately 2:00 p.m., the person responsible for the dessert buffet arrived at the venue to set up the sweet treats section.

The design was fantastic and the arrangement was executed flawlessly. The sweets appeared mouthwateringly delicious especially the two-tier car-themed cake, cupcakes, cake pops, macaroons, mallow pops, and jar of candies. I put the giveaways which were the acrylic ref magnet, party hats, and loot bags on the dessert buffet table.

The store where I ordered these party hats, loot bags, and ref magnet. It was nice and recommendable.
Meanwhile, let’s turn our attention to the food arrangement. We placed the food near the dining area in the house as a precaution against flies to maintain sanitation.

The food appeared incredibly appetizing, and of course, we couldn't overlook the "Lechon". My desire for crispy lechon skin was satisfied. Thus, there was a whole gallon of ice cream available as well for the kids.
A clown was the emcee for the brief program. The event commenced at 5:00 P.M., initiating with a prayer, followed by the celebrant's entrance, games, and a get-together dinner.
Our young child has blossomed and relished everything on that special day.
The clown organized various amusing games for the kids and attendees. I was thrilled to see everyone having a great time. Because of the entertaining games, I didn't have the chance to take many photos using my phone, but we had a photographer present to capture the memorable moments of that day.
We also had “pabitin” for the children and their faces were filled with excitement and joy.
Next came the birthday celebrant blowing out the candles on the cake, and he joyfully joined in singing with all of us.
A sumptuous dinner followed and I couldn’t snap a single photo with my again because, by that time, everyone was famished and eager to eat.
The celebration concluded with heartfelt gratitude and the unwrapping of gifts.
We were truly appreciative of the presence and kindness shown by all those who joined us in celebrating with our child.
