[ENG|ESP] My childhood best friend's younger sister turned 15. | Como pasa el tiempo, la hermana menor de mi mejor amiga de la infancia cumplió 15 años

¡Hola mis queridos amigos de Hive! No me había percatado de lo rápido que puede pasar el tiempo hasta que de un momento a otro, abrí y cerré los ojos y noté que ya la hermanita menor de mi mejor amiga de la infancia y la hermana que me regaló la secundaría cumplió sus quinceaños.

Recuerdo cuando gran parte de mis tardes pos-escuela iba con mi mejor amiga a su casa, veíamos películas, almorzaba allí, hacíamos "tareas" juntas, aunque realmente nos las pasábamos chismeando y perdiendo el tiempo jajaja, y junto a nosotras siempre estaba su pequeña hermana, que típico de las menores, les encanta pasar el tiempo junto a sus hermanas mayores y no despegarse de su lado.

Hoy, esa hermanita cumplió sus quinceaños y nunca había estado tan consciente de ello hasta que por mi redes me llegó su invitación y su petición de que deseaba que yo le tomara sus respectivas fotos de quinceañera. Cuando yo vi el mensaje no lo podía creer, aún veía a la niña que era antes pero supongo que eso es común de ver cuando ves crecer a alguien desde pequeñita. Obviamente le dije que si le tomaría sus fotos, seria mi obsequio para ella.

Hello my dear friends of Hive! I hadn't realized how fast time can go by until I opened and closed my eyes and noticed that the younger sister of my childhood best friend and the sister who gave me the gift of high school had already turned fifteen.

I remember when most of my afternoons after school I would go with my best friend to her house, we would watch movies, have lunch there, do "homework" together, although we really spent them gossiping and wasting time hahaha, and next to us was always her little sister, which is typical of the younger ones, they love to spend time with their older sisters and not leave their side.

Today, that little sister celebrated her fifteenth birthday and I had never been so aware of it until I received her invitation and her request through my networks that she wanted me to take her quinceañera pictures. When I saw the message I couldn't believe it, I still saw the little girl she was before but I guess that's common to see when you see someone grow up from a very young age. Obviously I told her that I would take her pictures, it would be my gift to her.

Llegó el día de la fiesta y por un buen rato estuve dubitativa respecto a lo que me gustaría ponerme puesto que me hubiera gustado mucho usar un vestido pero como yo estaba consciente de que estaría moviéndome mucho de aquí para allá decidí simplemente colocarme unos pantalones negros de vestir y una linda camisa manga larga holgada y fresca. Mi amor, tan complicado el de vestirse, se colocó simplemente un jean y una camisa abotonada hasta el cuello color azul pareciendo una tela como la de denim pero era más suave que eso. Yo como quería combinarme de alguna manera con él utilicé tonos azules en mi maquillaje y ya estábamos listos para disfrutar de la fiesta.

The day of the party arrived and for a while I was hesitant about what I would like to wear since I would have really liked to wear a dress but since I was aware that I would be moving around a lot I decided to simply put on some black dress pants and a nice long sleeved loose and cool shirt. My love, so complicated to dress up, simply put on a pair of jeans and a blue button down shirt that looked like denim but was softer than that. I wanted to match him in some way, so I used blue tones in my makeup and we were ready to enjoy the party.

Llegamos alrededor de las nueve de la noche que el papá de mi amiga nos fue a buscar a nuestra casa. Al llegar nos acomodamos en un rincón y como si fuera mi propia casa, puesto que yo no era una extraña allí y me consideraban parte de la familia ingresé a la casa y fui a ver a mi pequeña hermanita para verla y obviamente para comenzar a tomarle sus lindas fotos.

We arrived around nine o'clock at night when my friend's father came to pick us up at our house. When we arrived we settled in a corner and as if it was my own house, since I was not a stranger there and I was considered part of the family I entered the house and went to see my little sister to see her and obviously to start taking her cute pictures.

Aún sigo sin creer todo lo que ha crecido y en la manera en la que se expresa hoy en día, definitivamente aquella niña de mis recuerdos creció y se convirtió en toda una gran adolescente (de hecho le digo a mi mejor amiga que tiene muchos rasgos de su personalidad en ella, casi casi dos gotas de agua)

I still can't believe how much she has grown and the way she expresses herself nowadays, definitely that little girl from my memories grew up and became a great teenager (in fact I tell my best friend that she has a lot of her personality traits in her, almost like two peas in a pod).

Como les había mencionado antes la fiesta fue en su casa y aunque fue pequeña y sencilla, todo estuvo hermoso y único. En efectivo nosotros disfrutamos muchísimo todo ademas que nos encontramos con amigos que siendo sincera no había esperado ver y la sorpresa fue muy agradable, nuestra noche fue muchísimo más entretenida y divertida

As I mentioned before, the party was at her house and although it was small and simple, everything was beautiful and unique. We really enjoyed everything and we also met friends that we had not expected to see and the surprise was very pleasant, our night was much more entertaining and fun.

Fue una noche maravillosa, bailamos, disfrutamos, tomé muchas fotos y envié muchas más también a sus hermanas y familiares fuera jajaja. Efectivamente disfrutamos mucho de aquella noche y fui feliz de ver como mi otra hermanita creció. Llegamos a nuestra casa satisfechos y contentos.

It was a wonderful night, we danced, we enjoyed, I took many pictures and I sent many more to her sisters and relatives outside as well hahaha. Indeed we enjoyed a lot that night and I was happy to see how my other little sister grew up. We arrived home satisfied and happy.
