Hola mis queridos amigos, está 14 de Enero,es la visita número 165 de la Virgen Divina pastora, y hace su recorrido, transformándose en la procesión mas grande de Venezuela, y la segunda más grande en Latinoamérica
Algo de historia
A pesar de la religión que tengas es súper interesante la historia de esta virgen.
Todo inicia en el año 1736, cuando el párroco se Santa Rosa solicita una escultura de la Inmaculada Concepción, sin embargo el escultor se equivocó y en vez de hacer la Inmaculada Concepción, mando a Barquisimeto la Divina pastora, el párroco al ver esta equivocación quiso devolver la virgen, sin embargo paso el primer acontecimiento milagroso, por más que muchos hombre lo intentaron, no pudieron levantar a la virgen, cosa que tomaron como una señal que la virgen no quería irse de Barquisimeto.
Luego ocurrió en 1812, el segundo hecho milagroso, ya que el templo donde estaba la virgen, fue destruido por un terremoto, pero apesar de la destrucción la virgen quedó intacta.
Por último en 1855 ocurre el 3 acontecimiento milagroso que ratifica a la Divina Pastora como patrona de Lara,Ya que en ese año se desató una terrible epidemia de Cólera, la cual afecto a toda la población, los habitantes fueron a implorar la misericordia de la virgen y así erradicar la epidemia, la cual milagrosamente se acabo,y en conmemoración a ese hecho es que cada 14 de enero, la Divina Pastora sale de su sede en Santa Rosa y es llevada hasta la catedral de Barquisimeto
El recorrido
Todo los 14 de enero, la virgen recorre 7.5 kilómetros, sale de Santa rosa, sube por la Av Lara, hasta la plaza Mario Yepez, de allí va a la Av Morán toma la Av Venezuela y finaliza en la catedral
Este año era mas especial ya que hacían 2 años sin hacer la procesión ya que debido a la pandemia no se podía hacer está actividad.
preparación
Este año era especial como familia íbamos a hacer el recorrido, una actividad que con fe nos uniría más.
La logística para ir debía ser bien planificada, ya que gran parte de la cuidad está cerrada desde el día anterior, así que debíamos organizar bien para bajar en nuestro auto dejarlo en un sitio estratégico para que sea facil de llegar y fácil de salir
llegamos
A eso de las 10 am llegamos a la calle 12 donde dejamos el auto, de allí bajamos a santa rosa estábamos relativamente ver a eso de unos cuantos kilómetros, al llegar a el recorrido, era impactante la cantidad de personas, muchísimas personas.
Iniciamos el Recorrido
En la Av Lara casi al inicio de la procesión, allí nos encontramos con la virgen,y empezamos con el Recorrido.

En esta oportunidad fuimos en la familia, la tí mami que es prácticamente mi suegra con su esposo Piter y su hijo piter jr,así que nos encontramos todos alla, está vez todo preparado para el gran evento, no solo fue la caminata y la virgen, fue el compartir, el reirnos, el disfrutar como familia y la fe
la organización
Por todo el recorrido está lleno de seguridad, puntos de hidratación muy necesarios,puntos donde daban frutas, naranjas, mandarinas, patillas así que solo se debe llevar fe y disposición
Música
En casi todo el recorrido habían tarimas con música y diferentes grupos, eso habían más ameno el camino.
Las promesas
Muchas personas han recibido favores milagrosos por parte de la virgen, y ellos hacen promesas, algunos recorren el camino descalzos, otros deben usar atuendos, otros cargan cruces, carteles se ve de todo.
En ese momento que ves a esa cantidad de personas que de alguna u otra manera la virgen ha intercedido por muchas personas.
La catedral
La caminata termina en la cátedral era abrumadora la cantidad de personas, pero en la catedral había una tarima súper grande, con unos arreglos florales super geniales, con unas pantallas LED, unas cruces que también eran una pantallas, y música, era un verdadero espectáculo visual sin duda era súper hermoso
Al final debimos salir de allí por la cantidad de personas, pero fue un paseo súper genial ,cargado de fe, unidad y reforzar lazos.

Hello my dear friends, this January 14th, is the 165th visit of the Divine Shepherdess Virgin, and she makes her journey, becoming the largest procession in Venezuela, and the second largest in Latin America.
Some history
Regardless of your religion, the history of this virgin is very interesting.

Then occurred in 1812, the second miraculous event, since the temple where the virgin was, was destroyed by an earthquake, but despite the destruction the virgin remained intact.
Finally in 1855 occurs the third miraculous event that ratifies the Divina Pastora as patron saint of Lara, since in that year a terrible epidemic of cholera broke out, which affected the entire population, the inhabitants went to implore the mercy of the virgin and thus eradicate the epidemic, which miraculously ended, and in commemoration of that fact is that every January 14, the Divina Pastora leaves its headquarters in Santa Rosa and is taken to the cathedral of Barquisimeto.
The route
Every January 14, the virgin travels 7.5 kilometers, leaves Santa Rosa, goes up Lara Avenue to Mario Yepez Square, from there she goes to Moran Avenue, takes Venezuela Avenue and ends at the cathedral.
This year was more special because it had been 2 years without doing the procession because due to the pandemic this activity could not be done.

This year was special as a family we were going to do the procession, an activity that with faith would unite us more.

This time we went with the family, the mommy who is practically my mother in law with her husband Piter and her son pitercito, so we were all there, this time everything was prepared for the big event, it was not only the walk and the virgin, it was the sharing, laughing, enjoying as a family and the faith.
*the organization
The entire route is full of security, very necessary hydration points, points where they gave fruit, oranges, tangerines, patillas so you just have to bring faith and willingness.
*Music
In almost all the route there were stages with music and different groups, that made the way more enjoyable.
*The promises
Many people have received miraculous favors from the virgin, and they make promises, some walk the road barefoot, others must wear attire, others carry crosses, posters, you see everything.
At that moment you see that number of people that in some way or another the virgin has interceded for many people.
The cathedral
The walk ends at the cathedral was overwhelming the amount of people, but in the cathedral there was a super big stage, with some super cool floral arrangements, with some LED screens, some crosses that were also screens, and music, it was a real visual spectacle was certainly super beautiful.
At the end we had to leave because of the amount of people, but it was a super cool walk, full of faith, unity and strengthening ties.
