Are most here already a godmother or godfather?
Well, I am one of you. This blog I share is about the birthday celebration of my godchild who is the son of my special friend in highschool. Also this celebration is a reunion with my friends in high school.
My friend Crizza is my friend in highschool we almost didn't separate throughout that time. In the first year of high school my impression of her is that she's strict with her face well, she's so fierce anyways that's why I conclude that she can't be a good friend. .got pregnant. We were so shocked when she told us. We did not expect that it would happen to her since her parents are so strict.
At first we did not believe it, we thought that she was pranking us. Since she did that during the pandemic and we expected that she would do that again but she didn't. She showed us the pregnancy test she took. And that's the time we believe also she provided some ultrasound results with her name in it. That's the time we congratulate her. Even though we can't accept that at first as a friend but it is her decision to make we just have to support her.
One of the reasons why we can't believe that she's pregnant is that we don't like her boyfriend at that time. Because we felt something odd with him. By his aura you can sense that he is a “chick boy”. But we did not tell her since we don't want her to be offended. But all of our girl friends felt just like how I felt for her boyfriend. But we just accept it as a friend.
During her pregnancy period we are there supporting her. Since her mood changes every time. There was a time when she cried and I comforted her. She told me that her husband didn't give her the attention she wanted. She feels like her husband did not give her the same effort when they are still lovers. And I told her it might be your mood wings you always wanted his attention. You always want him around but when he's there you don't want him. I told her that its because of your pregnancy.
And she understood it. Then give me a smile. Later all the sacrifices she endured during the pregnancy. She shockingly sent a picture of a baby in her arms. So it means that she has already gone into labor. We are so happy for her. And we told her when she will be home for us to visit her and the baby. But she told us that she will stay in the City for a few months. She will just tell us if she will be home.
Every month she celebrates every milestone of the baby. We got the chance to visit the baby and we got the chance to hold the baby and even watch him sleep. Crizza told me that she chose me to be one of the godmother of her child.I was happy and thrilled that time so I accepted the offer. Few months she told us that the christening will be at his husband’s province. But I told her that I can't come to the christening since it is the new year at that time.
After a year has passed it is already Levi's birthday. So Crizza invited us to her child's birthday celebration. The celebration takes place at guanzon beach resort. So I found a gift for him that he can use at his age. Later the time arrived it's Levi's birthday celebration. My mom came with me since Crizza also invited her.
We arrived at the event's location. I saw the birthday celebrant then I gave him a hug. My other friend was not yet around so I just sang at the karaoke. Then the visitors arrived and the event started. The children have a game they play. Then after that we sang a happy birthday song to the birthday celebrant. Since the food was ready we started to eat. Then after that we took pictures with the birthday celebrant.
Moreover, we sat at a bench and drank some alcoholic drinks but we drank in moderation. Then my mom told us that she's not feeling well and she decided to go home first. In a few hours we decided to go home since tomorrow I still have a class.
