Vengo hablarles, ni más ni menos, del día de mi cumple. Les confieso que fue muy distinto a las fiestas que he hecho en años anteriores, pero no le resta importancia a mi día favorito. La pasé con mi familia más cercana, maratón de pelis, comida rica y mucho pero MUCHO amor. Agradecido infinitamente con mi familia que me hicieron sentir tan especial y me complacieron en todo. Ahora sí, les contaré con lujo de detalles todo lo que fue mi día.

I'm here to tell you about my birthday, no less. I confess that it was very different from the parties I've had in previous years, but it doesn't take away from my favorite day. I spent it with my closest family, movie marathon, delicious food and lots and lots of love. Endlessly grateful to my family who made me feel so special and indulged me in everything. Now I will tell you in detail everything about my day.
Primero debo aclarar que en casa tenemos la pequeña tradición de esperar a que se hagan las 00:00 y cantar cumpleaños y dar las felicitaciones al celebrado. Yo no sería la excepción y, aunque fuera pleno lunes, mi mamá tenía una botellita de whisky y nos pusimos a tomarnos unos traguitos ella, mi papá y yo.🥃
Estaba feliz, tenía muchas razones para estarlo, en especial por compartir mi día de pre-cumple con mis seres amados, sonreía y bailaba entre los tragos con mi música favorita (por cierto, estaba justo publicando la reseña musical de esta semana). También me tomé una hermosa foto con mi mamá para compartir en redes, con la cuenta regresiva de las horas que faltaban para mi cumple.🕙
First I must clarify that at home we have a little tradition of waiting for 00:00 to sing birthdays and congratulate the celebrant. I would be no exception and, even though it was the middle of Monday, my mom had a bottle of whiskey and we started to have a few drinks with her, my dad and I. I was happy, I had many reasons to be, especially for sharing my pre-birthday day.🥃

Pasaron las horas y la conversación iba avanzando. No sé si era porque estaba por cumplir años o solo fue una coincidencia, pero la conversación era sobre un tópico que yo realmente adoro: Teorías conspirativas. Les juro que yo estaba en mi materia, como pez en el agua. Algo que me parece curioso de mí y creo que nunca lo he comentado es que, cuando estoy hablando de algo que me gusta mucho, me pongo a temblar como si estuviera congelándome del frío.
Y por fin se hicieron las doce. Minutos antes mi tía me había marcado por video llamada, así podría felicitarme en tiempo real porque no pudo estar aquí en ese día. La verdad que cuando empezó el 31 de enero, cuando sentí que ya era mi día, me sentí tan feliz que no podía dejar de sonreír. Todos me felicitaron, me abrazaron y estuvieron allí conmigo. ¿Yo? Yo estaba que saltaba de la felicidad. Otra cosa que debo comentar es que cumplieron con la tradición y todos me felicitaron con diversas canciones de cumpleaños de fondo, entre ellas la de Ricky Martin y la de Tambor Urbano. Al finalizar esas canciones, por supuesto que puse 22 de Taylor Swift, porque solo cumples 22 años una vez en la vida.🥳
The hours went by and the conversation was progressing. I don't know if it was because I was about to have a birthday or it was just a coincidence, but the conversation was about a topic that I really love: conspiracy theories. I swear I was in my element, like a fish in water. Something that I find curious about me, and I don't think I've ever mentioned it, is that when I'm talking about something I really like, I start shivering as if I were freezing from the cold.
The hours passed and it was finally twelve o'clock. Minutes before my aunt had dialed me by video call, so she could congratulate me in real time because she couldn't be here on that day. The truth is that when January 31 started, when I felt that it was my day, I felt so happy that I could not stop smiling. Everyone congratulated me, hugged me and was there with me. Me? I was jumping with happiness. Another thing I have to say is that they complied with tradition and they all congratulated me with different birthday songs in the background, among them Ricky Martin's and Tambor Urbano's songs. At the end of those songs, of course I played 22 by Taylor Swift, because you only turn 22 once in a lifetime.🥳

Luego de esa mínima celebración, nos fuimos a camita, porque yo ya quería despertar y ver que me regalaban. No tardé mucho en dormirme porque estaba que se me cerraban los ojos del sueño.
Al día siguiente desperté súper temprano, aún nadie se había parado, así que no podía levantarme de la cama, estaba esperando a que me hicieran el desayuno especial. Tan pronto como olí que alguien estaba haciendo café, me puse mis audífonos para no escuchar nada y no arruinarme la sorpresa a mí mismo. Finalmente mi mamá entra al cuarto diciéndome que me pare a comer. Cuando salí, encontré la hermosa bandeja del desayuno con una gran bolsa de regalo, de inmediato se formó una inmensa sonrisa en mi cara.😸
After that minimal celebration, we went to bed, because I wanted to wake up and see what I was getting. It didn't take me long to fall asleep because my eyes were closing from sleep.
The next day I woke up super early, no one was up yet, so I couldn't get out of bed, I was waiting for the special breakfast to be made. As soon as I smelled someone making coffee, I put on my headphones so I wouldn't hear anything and not ruin the surprise for myself. Finally my mom comes into the room telling me to stand up and eat. When I came out, I found the beautiful breakfast tray with a big gift bag, immediately a huge smile formed on my face.😸

El desayuno fueron unos ricos pastelitos y entre mis regalos pueden ver una linda gorra gris, unos lentes oscuros, una preciosa taza de un bonito color verde y un espectacular vaso térmico que grita mi nombre, no solo por el hermoso diseño, pero por la utilidad que le voy a dar. También me regalaron un delicioso chocolate, junto a mis pastelitos de jamón y queso, un caliente café con leche y un juguito de manzana. Se lucieron y no tenía ni idea de que estaban preparando para mí, me tomaron por sorpresa y me hicieron muy feliz.🌈✨
Breakfast was delicious empanadas and among my gifts you can see a nice gray cap, dark glasses, a beautiful mug of a nice green color and a spectacular thermal cup that screams my name, not only for the beautiful design, but for the use I am going to give it. I was also treated to a delicious chocolate, along with my ham and cheese empanadas, a hot latte and an apple juice. They showed off and I had no idea what they were preparing for me, they took me by surprise and made me very happy.🌈✨
Luego de eso, la mañana se me fue principalmente en cortarme el cabello, un cambio de estilo que planeo contarles en otro post, porque fue algo muy nuevo para mí. Mi mamá me preguntó qué comida me gustaría tener para el almuerzo, yo le dije que lo que ella me hiciera lo recibiría con mucho gusto, yo sabía que ella se luciría.
Dicho como hecho, ella preparó una deliciosa pasta con carne molida a la que metió en el horno y quedó exquisita. Ella sabe que esta comida me fascina y, aunque quería comerme algunos tres platos, con el primero estaba que me explotaba la panza.🍝
After that, the morning was mostly spent getting my hair cut, a style change that I plan to tell you about in another post, because it was something very new to me. My mom asked me what food I would like to have for lunch, I told her that whatever she made me I would love it; I knew she would show off.
All said and done, she made delicious pasta with ground beef that she put in the oven and it was delicious. She knows that this food fascinates me and, although I wanted to eat some three dishes, with the first one my belly was bursting.🍝

Obviamente que estaba recibiendo muchas felicitaciones de parte de todos mis amigos y familia, lo que me hizo sentir muy bonito en el corazón. Aproveché toda esa atención y la incrementé un poco con unas lindas selfies que compartí en mis redes sociales, y además les agradecí a todos los que me habían felicitado en ese mismo post, dejándoles saber lo especial que me hicieron sentir.⛓🌻
Obviously I was receiving a lot of congratulations from all my friends and family, which made me feel very nice in my heart. I took advantage of all that attention and increased it a bit with some nice selfies that I shared on my social networks, and I also thanked everyone who had congratulated me in that same post, letting them know how special they made me feel.⛓🌻

También debo mencionar a una amiga súper especial que tengo, que trabaja en el supermercado al que voy diario. Cuando fui a comprar, yo siempre paso por la caja donde ella trabaja, así que ese día no sería la excepción. Había ido a comprar unas cotufas para el maratón de películas, y al llegar a la caja para pagar, noté que estaba un poco nerviosa. Luego me pareció extraño que otra de las cajeras me felicitara, porque yo solo le había comentado eso a mi amiga Paulimar. Entre todo lo extraño que estaba pasando, noto que mi amiga saca un regalo para mí, y me dio mucha pena, me tapé la cara y ahora el nervioso era yo, jajaja. Le di un abrazo y le agradecí mucho el detalle, me hizo muy feliz. Eran unos deliciosos masmelos y un precioso vaso que, según ella, se parece mucho a mí.💓🦩
I should also mention a super special friend of mine, who works at the supermarket I go to every day. When I went shopping, I always pass by the checkout where she works, so that day would be no exception. I had gone to buy some popcorn for the movie marathon, and when I got to the checkout to pay, I noticed that she was a little nervous. Then I found it strange that another of the cashiers congratulated me, because I had only commented that to my friend Paulimar. Among all the strange things that were happening, I noticed that my friend took out a gift for me, and I felt embarrassed, I covered my face and now I was the nervous one, hahaha. I gave her a hug and thanked her very much for the detail, it made me very happy. It was some delicious marshmallows and a beautiful glass that, according to her, looks a lot like me.💓🦩
El resto de la tarde vimos mis de mis películas preferidas, y aunque las he visto un montón de veces, verla en mi cumpleaños se sintió mega especial. Repetimos de la pasta al horno para la cena y estaba aún más deliciosa. Vimos felices nuestro maratón de Los Juegos Del Hambre, aunque aún nos sigue faltando ver las de Sinsajo Pt. 1 y Pt 2, me la deben jajaja.
Reviví muchas emociones con esas películas y estaba contento, porque sentía que ellos no estaban incómodos o viendo las películas por compromiso, sentí que las veían y les gustaban y yo estaba que la felicidad no cabía en mi cuerpo. El día llegó a su fin, abracé mucho a mi mamá, para agradecerle lo especial que me había hecho sentir y lo feliz que me hizo por todo lo que elaboró para mi día. Y aunque aún falte la gran fiesta que es mañana, ese día lo pasé de maravilla, en un plan distinto pero hermoso y que ADORÉ.💝
The rest of the evening we watched my favorite movies, and although I've seen them a bunch of times, watching it on my birthday felt mega special. We had a repeat of the baked pasta for dinner and it was even more delicious. We happily watched our marathon of The Hunger Games, although we still have yet to see Mockingjay Pt. 1 and Pt 2, they owe me hahaha.
I relived a lot of emotions with those movies and I was happy, because I felt that they were not uncomfortable or watching the movies for commitment, I felt that they watched them and liked them and I was so happy that I couldn't fit in my body. The day came to an end, I hugged my mom a lot, to thank her for how special she had made me feel and how happy she made me for everything she elaborated for my day. And even though the big party tomorrow is still to come, I had a wonderful time that day, in a different but beautiful plan that I ADORED.💝

Y eso fue todo por hoy, mis queridos amigos y lectores. No tengo más que palabras de agradecimientos, en especial con las personitas que me han felicitado y me hicieron sentir mega feliz, no podría estar más agradecido con ellos, y por supuesto agradecido con Dios por un año más de vida y por todas las bendiciones que se vienen para mí y mi familia. Ahora a madurar, que ya son 22, jajsja.
Ahora debo ir organizando todo para “El Neo-Perreo” que es literalmente mañana, estoy casi temblando de la emoción de ver a todos mis amigos, cantar y bailar hasta el amanecer y celebrar por todo lo alto mis 22 años. Y como dice Taylor: “No sé tú, pero me siento de 22”. Gracias por leerme, por siempre estar comentando cosas lindas y les mando un mega abrazo.🤗✨

I have nothing but words of gratitude, especially with the little people who have congratulated me and made me feel mega happy, I could not be more grateful to them, and of course grateful to God for another year of life and for all the blessings that are coming for me and my family. Now to grow up, it's already 22, hahahaha.
Now I have to get everything organized for "El Neo-Perreo" which is literally tomorrow, I'm almost shaking with the excitement of seeing all my friends, singing and dancing until dawn and celebrating my 22nd birthday in style.
