Hoy me uno a la celebración del Día Internacional de la Familia con mucha emoción y gratitud, y aunque casi termina el día, no quería desaprovechar la oportunidad de plasmar mis sentimientos y palabras, pues tengo la bendición de tener una gran familia y siempre quiero darle el mayor reconocimiento.
Desde nuestros primeros años de escolaridad escuchamos que uno de los valores que debemos cultivar es el amor y el respeto por la familia, ya que esta es la base fundamental de la sociedad. Con este concepto, comprendí la importancia y el significado profundo de lo que es tener una familia y de como cada uno de los miembros aporta un valor a la misma. Luego, cuando me tocó formar mi propia familia tenía claro que los pilares fundamentales de ella serían el amor, la unión y la comprensión.
Una familia unida con los fuertes lazos del amor es la mayor riqueza a la que podemos aspirar los seres humanos. Así que como un gran tesoro debemos cuidarla celosamente y resguardarla.
Mi familia es una de las grandes bendiciones que tengo en mi vida, pues soy muy afortunada por el hecho de tener una familia consanguínea numerosa en la que no solo nos une la sangre; nos une, también, un infinito afecto que nos sostiene frente a las adversidades, nos mantiene de pie en las buenas y en las malas. En todo momento, puedo contar con el apoyo de mi familia, con su compañía y su comprensión. Como todas las familias hemos tenido subidas y bajadas, pero siempre ha privado el amor como una gran fortaleza.
Today I join the celebration of the International Day of Families with great emotion and gratitude, and although the day is almost over, I did not want to miss the opportunity to express my feelings and words, because I am blessed to have a great family and I always want to give them the greatest recognition.
Since our early school years we heard that one of the values we should cultivate is love and respect for the family, since this is the fundamental basis of society. With this concept, I understood the importance and deep meaning of what it is to have a family and how each of its members brings value to it. Then, when it was my turn to form my own family, it was clear to me that the fundamental pillars of my family would be love, union and understanding.
A family united with the strong bonds of love is the greatest wealth to which we human beings can aspire. So, like a great treasure, we must jealously guard it and protect it.
My family is one of the great blessings that I have in my life, because I am very fortunate to have a large blood family in which we are not only united by blood; we are also united by an infinite affection that sustains us in the face of adversity, keeps us standing in good times and bad. At all times, I can count on the support of my family, with their company and understanding. Like all families, we have had ups and downs, but love has always been a great strength.
Por otro lado, tengo la fortuna de haber conseguido una familia por afinidad, un regalo de mi esposo que es otra gran bendición. Así, entre estas dos familias no hay distinción y todos unidos le hemos dado valor a ese sentimiento y luego de más de treinta años, todos somos tíos, los abuelos de una y otra son los abuelitos de todos y así, mis dos familias conforman un todo de afecto y bondad.
En mi familia, hemos vivido pérdidas que nos han dejado un gran vacío y tristezas, pero para esas tristezas hemos encontrado, en la solidaridad y en la empatía, la forma de sanar las heridas y de recuperarnos.
Estas últimas semanas, tuve la dicha de compartir momentos muy especiales e inolvidables con mis familias. Es difícil reunirlas a las dos en un momento determinado, pero cada una por su lado, me manifiesta siempre su gran amor y las expresiones de este se pueden percibir en los detalles que me procuran.
Tuve la oportunidad de compartir con mis sobrinos que viven más lejos, los hijos de mi hermano que murió, luego de dos años y medio, tiempo que pasó entre la pandemia, los problemas de gasolina y los costos del transporte entre estados del país. Fue un encuentro muy hermoso, ver que ya no son unos niños, han crecido mucho, y aunque siempre hemos mantenido la comunicación, no es lo mismo tenerlos cerca y abrazarlos.
On the other hand, I am fortunate to have a family by affinity, a gift from my husband, which is another great blessing. Thus, between these two families there is no distinction and all together we have given value to that feeling and after more than thirty years, we are all uncles, the grandparents of one and the other are the grandparents of all and thus, my two families form a whole of affection and kindness.
In my family, we have lived through losses that have left us with great emptiness and sadness, but for those sadnesses we have found, in solidarity and empathy, the way to heal the wounds and to recover.
These last weeks, I had the joy of sharing very special and unforgettable moments with my families. It is difficult to bring them both together at a given moment, but each one of them, in their own way, always shows me their great love and the expressions of this love can be perceived in the details they give me.
I had the opportunity to share with my nephews who live farther away, the children of my brother who died, after two and a half years, time that passed between the pandemic, the problems of gasoline and transportation costs between states of the country. It was a very beautiful encounter, to see that they are no longer children, they have grown up a lot, and although we have always maintained communication, it is not the same to have them close and hug them.
Compartí con ellos momentos muy emotivos e inolvidables que atesoraremos por siempre y que sellarán las páginas de la historia de mi vida.
I shared with them very emotional and unforgettable moments that we will treasure forever and that will seal the pages of the history of my life.
Mi familia es maravillosa, única, mi tesoro más preciado. En ella consigo la motivación para seguir adelante, el aire fresco que me acaricia cuando más lo necesito, la certeza de que que hacer el bien siempre puede beneficiarlos, pues como en la vida todo se devuelve, mejor lo bueno que lo malo.
My family is wonderful, unique, my most precious treasure. In them I get the motivation to move forward, the fresh air that caresses me when I need it most, the certainty that doing good can always benefit them, because as in life everything is returned, better the good than the bad.
Mi otra parte de la gran familia que tengo es otro apoyo y motivación en mi vida. Ellos son fundamentales y relevantes en las páginas que he escrito y en las que escribiré. Mis suegros son mis segundos padres y todos los días agradezco el amor incondicional que ellos me ofrecieron desde el primer día y para ellos pido mucha salud y bendiciones.
My other part of the big family I have is another support and motivation in my life. They are fundamental and relevant in the pages I have written and will write. My in-laws are my second parents and every day I am grateful for the unconditional love they offered me from day one and I ask for their health and blessings.
Y, finalmente, otro parte de mi gran familia, es la que formé junto a mi esposo. Es pequeña, somos el trío dinámico, mi esposo, mi hija y yo; pero es inmensa y abundante en amor, comprensión y respeto. Ahora, de tres pasamos a cuatro y juntos somos los cuatro fantásticos. Gracias a mi hija, gané un hijo maravilloso que la ama mucho y eso es suficiente para ganarse mi cariño y mi corazón de madre. Estoy segura que ellos formarán también una gran familia, pues tienen los valores que se necesitan para hacerlo.
Para todas las familias del mundo, pido hoy mucho amor y unión, pido momentos de encuentro y dicha.
¡Que Dios bendiga a todas las familias del mundo!
And finally, another part of my big family is the one I formed with my husband. It is small, we are the dynamic trio, my husband, my daughter and I; but it is immense and abundant in love, understanding and respect. Now, we have grown from three to four and together we are the fantastic four. Thanks to my daughter, I gained a wonderful son who loves her very much and that is enough to earn my affection and my mother's heart. I am sure that they will also form a great family, because they have the values needed to do so.
For all the families in the world, I ask today for much love and union, I ask for moments of encounter and joy.
