A coffee with my parents at Gambino, an Italian coffee shop in Mendoza, Argentina
Hello friends of Hive and Family & Friends, today I come to share an experience in a coffee shop that is becoming quite popular in my city. I went with "mis viejos", that's how we call parents in Argentina, heh.
It had been a while since we had shared outside their house, beyond the coffee I went to have a few weeks ago with my mom, so I suggested that instead of having a drink at their house, we go somewhere. I always think that a change of air is a very positive thing.
A few days ago we had talked about a place called "Casa Amalfi", a new proposal in Mendoza that integrates coffee and fashion. Inside this space that is located on Emilio Civit street, you can find a manicure and pedicure place, a place to sell clothes (I think it is circular, that is, used clothes that are resold but are in excellent condition) and there is also Gambino, a coffee shop right here.

Un café con “mis viejos” en Gambino, una cafetería italiana en Mendoza, Argentina
Hola amigos de Hive y de Family & Friends, hoy vengo a compartir una experiencia en una cafetería que está haciéndose bastante popular en mi ciudad. Fui con “mis viejos”, así les decimos a los padres en Argentina, je.
Hacía bastante que no compartíamos fuera de la casa de ellos, más allá del café que fui a tomar hace unas semanas con mi mamá, así que les sugerí que en vez de tomar algo en su casa, fuésemos a algún lugar. Siempre creo que cambiar de aire es algo muy positivo.
Hacía unos días habíamos hablado de un lugar llamado “Casa Amalfi”, una nueva propuesta en Mendoza que integra café y moda. Dentro de este espacio que se encuentra en la calle Emilio Civit, puedes encontrar un lugar de manicura y pedicura, un local de venta de ropa (Creo que es circular, es decir que es ropa utilizada que se revende pero que está en excelentes condiciones) y también está aquí mismo Gambino, una cafetería.
The latter is the first thing one sees upon entering the entire space, which is a large house, whose spaces have been used very well for the aforementioned purposes.
I loved about this place that it is all white and has a large window, where we sat with my parents for coffee. They ordered coffee and latte with a scon, and I ordered a lemonade with a ham and cheese toast. My breakfast (which was also my lunch), was very tasty, as was the lemonade.
We enjoyed a beautiful morning in this space, which is extremely pleasant and had great background music.
Esta última es lo primero que uno ve al ingresar a todo el espacio, que es una gran casa, cuyos espacios han utilizado muy bien para los fines mencionados.
Me encantó de este lugar que es todo blanco y tiene un gran ventanal, en donde nos sentamos con mis padres a tomar el café. Ellos pidieron café y café con leche con un scon, y yo pedí una limonada con un tostado de jamón y queso. Mi desayuno (que también fue mi almuerzo), estaba muy rico, al igual que la limonada.
Disfrutamos de una hermosa mañana en este espacio, que es sumamente agradable y que tenía una música de fondo muy buena.
What I liked most about the place is that it is very close to the General San Martin Park, just a few blocks away, so it is a strategic point for tourists and athletes, since the former can enjoy both plans in the same morning and those who do sports, often go up to the park by bike or jogging, and this is a good option to replenish energy after an active morning, as they have several healthy options on the menu.
Lo que más me gustó del lugar es que se encuentra muy cerca del Parque General San Martín, a tan solo unas cuadras, por lo que es un punto estratégico para turistas y deportistas, ya que los primeros pueden disfrutar de ambos planes en una misma mañana y quienes hacen deportes, muchas veces suben al parque en bicicleta o trotando, y esta es una buena opción para reponer energías después de una mañana activa, ya que tienen varias opciones saludables en el menú.
The meeting in relation to my parents was interesting, quiet, fun, and at least the three of us got to see a new place and enjoy a beautiful morning, that instead of being cloudy, it already said spring.
La juntada en relación a mis padres estuvo bien interesante, tranquila, divertida, y al menos pudimos conocer los tres un nuevo lugar y disfrutar de una bella mañana que aunque nublada, ya anunciaba la primavera.
