Hola a todos mis lectorees, espero que hoy se encuentren saludables y les deseo un hermoso empiezo de semana. Hoy les vengo a hablar del lindo día que pasé ayer junto a familiares y a amigos, fue el cumpleaños de mi hermana menor y la pasamos excelente celebrando un año más de vida.
Hello to all my readers, I hope you are healthy today and I wish you a great start of the week. Today I am here to tell you about the beautiful day I spent yesterday with family and friends, it was my younger sibling's birthday and we had a great time celebrating another year of life.
Mi hermana cumplió 14 años ayer, y obviamente le quisimos planificar algo bien bonito y hacerla sentir especial en su día, los preparativos empezaron días antes que fuimos comprando algunas cosas para la decoración y los regalos.
Mi hermana preparó una lista con algunas cosas que querían que le regalaran, habían bastantes opciones y yo decidí comprarle una libreta linda, se que la va a servir mucho y de verdad que me encantó, es demasiado linda.
My sister turned 14 yesterday, and obviously we wanted to plan something nice and make her feel special on her day, the preparations started a few days before, we were buying some things for the decoration and gifts.
My sibling prepared a list with some things she wanted to get her, there were many options and I decided to buy her a nice notebook, I know it will be very useful for her and I really loved it, it's too cute.

Los regalos que mi hermana recibió en la mañana por parte de la familia fueron, un envase para tomar, brochas de maquillaje, dos shorts, una tinta, unas esponjas de maquillaje, un bolso, una billetera, un espejo, una crema facial, varias cosas de la lista que ella hizo, y también otras cosas que aunque no las incluyó en la lista sabíamos que iba a disfrutar.
En mi casa es una costumbre despertar al cumpleañero con un rico desayuno, es un gesto muy bonito para empezar el día. Y aunque ya el cumpleañero sabe que lo van a despertar con un desayuno, la sorpresa es saber cual es el menú, y para mi hermana como tiene problemas con el azúcar decidimos un opción un poco más saludable con jugo natural y ensalada de frutas.
The gifts my sibling received in the morning from the family were, a drinking bottle, makeup brushes, two shorts, an ink, some makeup sponges, a purse, a wallet, a mirror, a face cream, several things from the list she made, and also other things that although she didn't include them on the list we knew she would enjoy.
In my house it is a custom to wake up the birthday boy or girl with a delicious breakfast, it is a very nice gesture to start the day. And although the birthday boy already knows that he will be woken up with breakfast, the surprise is to know what the menu is, and for my sibling as she has problems with sugar we decided on a slightly healthier option with natural juice and fruit salad.

Mientras desayunamos todos, siempre hablamos de lo que vamos a hacer en el día, nos planificamos y repartimos actividades, ayer mi hermana tenía que ir a arreglarse las uñas, mi hermano tenía que comprar las cosas que hacían falta para la fiesta, mi mamá y yo nos quedamos en la casa haciendo la decoración y algunos pasapalos.
While we all have breakfast, we always talk about what we are going to do for the day, we plan and divide activities, yesterday my sister had to go to get her nails done, my sibling had to buy the things needed for the party, my mom and I stayed at home doing the decoration and some snacks.

Mientras se iba acercando la hora de la fiesta, le llegaban más mensajes a mi hermana de felicitación junto a una disculpa de personas que no pudieron asistir. De los amigos que invitó Mariangel faltaron como 8 personas, y no lo digo en broma, para que se hagan una idea los nombraré a pesar de que ustedes no los conozcan, faltaron: Katrina, Leticia, María Verónica, Paola, Gaby y Carlos, todos por razones distintas confirmaron que no iban a poder a acompañar a Mariangel, eso sin contar a Ximary y a María Celeste, que se fueron del país, lo que lo hace un poco más triste todavía.
No quise que esto fuera un motivo de tristeza para mi hermana, y como la noté medio bajoneada quise decirle que no importa los que no vayan a venir, importan los que vengan, con ellos vamos a disfrutar y a celebrar tu cumple, así sean poquitos. También quise recordarle los cumpleaños en pandemia cuando solo pudo venir una amiga y aún así la pasamos excelente.
As the time of the party was approaching, more messages of congratulations arrived to my sister along with an apology from people who could not attend. Of the friends that Mariangel invited were missing about 8 people, and I do not say this as a joke, to give you an idea I will name them even though you do not know them, they were missing: Katrina, Leticia, Maria Veronica, Paola, Gaby and Carlos, all for different reasons confirmed that they were not going to be able to accompany Mariangel, not counting Ximary and Maria Celeste, who left the country, which makes it a little sadder still.
I didn't want this to be a reason of sadness for my sibling, and as I noticed her a bit down, I wanted to tell her that it doesn't matter those who are not going to come, it matters those who come, with them we are going to enjoy and celebrate your birthday, even if they are just a few. I also wanted to remind her of the pandemic birthdays when only one friend could come and we still had a great time.

Al principio cuando no había llegado nadie si la noté medio triste, pero cuando empezaron a llegar los demás no le paró más a eso y disfrutó su día. Con mis amigos bailamos, cantamos, echamos broma demás y hasta llegó la hora de rapear jajajajjaja. Recientemente nos dimos cuenta de que tenemos talento para el rap y no podía faltar que rapearamos, claro esto lo hicimos al final de la noche cuando nadie nos viera, porque en realidad no tenemos talento para eso, nada más lo hacemos para reírnos.
En general fue un día bastante divertido, Mariangel invitó a algunos compañeros del colegio y se notaba que también se estaban divirtiendo bastante, creamos un ambiente en el que nadie se sintiera incómodo y pudimos alocarnos y disfrutar de la música.
At the beginning when no one had arrived I noticed she was a little sad, but when the others started to arrive she didn't stop and enjoyed her day. With my friends we danced, sang, joked around and it was even time to rap hahahahahaha. Recently we realized that we have a talent for rapping and we could not miss rapping, of course we did this at the end of the night when no one was watching us, because we really have no talent for that, we just do it to laugh.
All in all it was a pretty fun day, Mariangel invited some school mates and you could tell they were also having a lot of fun, we created an environment where no one felt uncomfortable and we were able to get crazy and enjoy the music.

A pesar de ser menos personas de lo que se acostumbra, pudimos disfrutar bastante y además vi a mi hermana muy feliz, que en realidad es lo único que importa porque era su día especial y ella tenía que estar feliz y sin preocupaciones.
Como desde las 11:30 empezamos a estar pendiente del reloj porque resulta el al día siguiente, o sea hoy, están de cumpleaños dos personas muy especiales también que ayer estaban presente en el cumple de Mariangel, esas son Mi tía María y mi prima Rocío, cuando fueron las 12 cantamos de nuevo el cumpleaños y felicitamos a las cumpleañeras.
Despite being less people than usual, we were able to enjoy a lot and I also saw my sibling very happy, which is really the only thing that matters because it was her special day and she had to be happy and carefree.
As from 11:30 we started to watch the clock because the next day, that is today, two very special people who were also present yesterday at Mariangel's birthday, those are my aunt Maria and my cousin Rocio, when it was 12 o'clock we sang again the birthday and congratulated the birthday girls.

El aprendizaje de ayer fue que no hacen falta 1500 personas para pasarla bien, con los que vinieron fue divertido, aunque no se niega que si hicieron falta los que no vinieron, pero será en otra oportunidad. Este año quise dedicarme y que poner de mi parte para que todo saliera bien, desde temprano estuve haciendo la decoración y también algunas comidas, además estuve pendiente de que mi hermana la pasara bien.
Fue un lindo día y agradezco que todo haya salido bien, hoy también va a ser un día un poco ocupado y lleno de diversión ya que vamos a estar celebrando el cumpleaños de mi tía, por eso los dejo y por ahora me despido, chaooo!
Yesterday's learning was that it does not take 1500 people to have a good time, with those who came it was fun, although it is not denied that those who did not come were needed, but it will be another time. This year I wanted to dedicate myself and do my part so that everything would go well, from early in the morning I was doing the decorations and also some of the food, I also made sure that my sibling had a good time.
