Have you ever tried laughing so hard with your family that your stomach just hurt? Or shared a moment with friends that made your day better? These little things may seem just too simple, but they are actually very important in our lives. These kind of moments can have a big impact to your life. šÆ
Spending time with family and friends is more than just having fun. It strengthens the relationship, creates happy memories, and helps us feel loved and valued. In todayās fast-paced world, many people get too busy with work, school, gadgets or social media. But no matter how busy life gets, nothing can replace real connections with the people we really do care about.
This is really 100% true. Because, its feel very therapeutic every time I make time to be with my family, loved ones, and friends. Especially during the times, when I felt like my week or days are so draining. Every time I am so busy for how many days, I easily feel disconnected to the people around me. It feels like my life is just revolving around the things that makes me so busy. Thus, every time that thereās an occasion and opportunity to be with them, I became so lively. Not just because there will be a lot of foods and I love eating (hahahaha lol), but because I will have a time to spend with my family. Like we will be talking a lot of different things. Though there are times that I cannot relate to what they are talking about, I just listen to them and gave some inputs if they let me. š¬
Now, I will share with you some of the events or memories I have with my family and friends, where I feel very lively and recharge. These are usually the memories that I often look back every time I think alone. Feeling nostalgia, as I reminisce the emotions I have during these days. š„°
| This was during the year 2015. This was our very 1st family reunion.
| Our 2nd family reunion, year 2016.
| Our 3rd family reunion, year 2017.
| Our 4th family reunion, and sadly the last one, on the year 2018.
| This was year 2019, we celebrated New Year at my Aunt's House. I look so happy in the picture because it was already 12AM when we took the picture, which means that we will now be able to eat the foods in the table š¤£
| This is way back 2020, pandemic days. This is my 18th birthday, we were incomplete because it was still so early when we decided to take a picture and some of my relatives wasnāt yet around.
| This was during my cousinās birthday. It feels so lighter that despite everything that has happened (pandemic era; we struggle to adjust in online classes that time, and our schedules hardly met), we did our best to have time to rest and chill for a moment.
Plus the calmness of the evening. Look at the stars! AMAZING SAUR MUCH.
| This was during the year 2021, when my Grandmother's Brother came home. It was very memorable one, because my Lola and her Brother didn't see each other for a very long time as he is working in America.
If you had observed, these pictures have the same backgrounds. Because, we tend to held these occasions at Samongās Residence - Lolo Otikās Tambayan, named after my late grandfather. This was just at the back of my grandparentsā home. We tend to have our bond here because the place is so nice and fresh, as it is just near the sea.
I also have my share of experiences here with my friends. Way back when I was still in senior high school, me and my friends will always eat and have our bond here after a very stressful week. We also study, and had our overnights here.
Now that I am in college, I have also my share of memories with my classmates here.
Now, why is bonding important? Bonding with family and friends has many benefits. It helps build trust, love, and understanding. When we spend time together, we feel more connected and supported. It also improves our mood and helps us handle stress better. Life can be tough sometimes, but having people to lean on makes everything easier.
The effects of strong relationshipsā when we bond with our loved ones, we feel happier and more secure. It gives us a sense of belonging and reminds us that we are never alone. Studies even show that people with strong relationships live longer and feel less stressed! š«
