El 24 y el 31 de diciembre son dos fechas muy importantes para todos y en especial para mi familia, son fechas para celebrar, compartir y sobre todo estar con la familia, amigos y lo más bonito es disfrutar y pasarla al máximo. Estas navidades 2022 nos permitió reunirnos en familia, pero para celebrar estas fechas tuvimos que dividirnos y pasar el 24 con mis abuelos paternos y el 31 de Diciembre con mi abuela materna, esto fue un tema un poco triste y una decisión que se tenía que tomar días antes para así poder planificar los gatos, la comida, regalos y muchas otras cosas que son necesarias, sin embargo, la pase de maravilla con todo mi familia en estas navidades.
December 24th and 31st are two very important dates for everyone and especially for my family, they are dates to celebrate, share and above all to be with family, friends and the most beautiful thing is to enjoy and spend it to the fullest. This Christmas 2022 allowed us to get together as a family, but to celebrate these dates we had to split and spend December 24th with my paternal grandparents and December 31st with my maternal grandmother, this was a bit sad and a decision that had to be made days before in order to plan the cats, food, gifts and many other things that are necessary, however, I had a wonderful time with all my family this Christmas.
Estas fechas navideñas no la íbamos a pasar en casa, así que teníamos que alistarnos desde muy tempranos, recoger y guardar todas las cosas y marcharnos para la casa donde nos reuniríamos cada fecha. Al llegar a la casa donde se iba a hacer la reunión algo que no podía faltar eran las respectivas fotos, en lo que llegamos y estaba toda la familia fue la primera actividad que realizamos, fotos con los abuelos, fotos con los primos, foto familiar y cuando te das cuenta nos hemos hecho una sesión fotográfica en cuestión de segundos, cabe destacar que cuando salían mal teníamos que repetirlas. Ese fue un momento de mucha alegría, risas, se notaba como todos estaban felices por las fotos a pesar de que no quieran tomarse fotos al principio, como en mi caso, pero a la final todos nos contagiamos de esa alegría y la pasamos genial, ya que estas fotos siempre van a quedar para el recuerdo.
We were not going to spend these Christmas holidays at home, so we had to get ready very early in the morning, gather and put away all the things and go to the house where we would meet on each date. When we arrived at the house where the meeting was going to be held something that could not be missed were the respective photos, when we arrived and the whole family was there was the first activity we did, photos with grandparents, photos with cousins, family photo and when you realize we have done a photo shoot in seconds, it should be noted that when they went wrong we had to repeat them. That was a moment of great joy, laughter, you could see how everyone was happy for the photos even though they did not want to take pictures at first, as in my case, but in the end we all got infected with that joy and had a great time, because these photos will always remain for the memory.

Se creó un ambiente muy agradable con toda la familia y no parábamos de conversar, reírnos, bailar y escuchar algunas músicas alusivas para estas fechas de navidad. Para el 24 de diciembre organizamos un pequeño intercambio de regalos, cada miembro de la familia tenía que llevar un detalle, pero esta vez escogimos chucherías y se tenía que decir alguna pista hasta que se descubriera y se supiera cuál era la persona, las risas, el bochinche y la felicidad era muy grande. Para el 31 no hicimos ningún juego, pero entre conversar, escuchar música, viendo los fuegos artificiales y mientras que bailaban mis papás y mis tíos paso la hora muy rápido.
A very nice atmosphere was created with the whole family and we did not stop talking, laughing, dancing and listening to some music allusive to this Christmas time. For December 24 we organized a small gift exchange, each member of the family had to bring a detail, but this time we chose trinkets and had to say a clue until we found out who the person was, the laughter, the bochinche and happiness was great. For the 31st we did not play any games, but between talking, listening to music, watching the fireworks and while my parents and my uncles and aunts were dancing, the time went by very fast.
Menos mal que para ninguno de estos dos días llovió y se mantuvo un clima cálido, ni tan frío y ni tan caluroso, estaba agradable porque una de las reuniones la del 24, la hicimos en el patio de la casa, ya que el lugar es amplio ahí fue donde colocamos las mesas para cenar y la otra reunión fue en un apartamento. Para la cena de navidad queríamos hacer algo distinto, así que a mi abuela se le ocurrió hacer un pasticho todos nos sentamos alrededor de la mesa y antes de empezar a comer escuchamos las palabras de mi abuelo. Mientras que para la cena de año nuevo si mantuvimos el tradicional plato navideño, la cual estuvo muy rica. Dos cenas que fueron elaboradas con mucho cariño, amor, para todos los miembros de la familia que estuvimos presente, además cada casa tiene su manera de cocinar y darle ese toque único.
Thank goodness that for none of these two days it rained and the weather was warm, not so cold and not so hot, it was nice because one of the meetings on the 24th, we did it in the courtyard of the house, since the place is spacious there was where we placed the tables for dinner and the other meeting was in an apartment. For Christmas dinner we wanted to do something different, so my grandmother came up with the idea of making a pasticho, we all sat around the table and before we started eating we listened to my grandfather's words. While for New Year's dinner we did keep the traditional Christmas dish, which was very tasty. Two dinners that were prepared with love and care for all the members of the family that were present, besides each house has its own way of cooking and giving it that unique touch.

Cuando llego la media noche del 31 fue el momento más esperado para todos, ya que nos permitió darnos el feliz año entre todos, abrazarnos, besarnos y los mejores deseos para comenzar este nuevo año cargado de muchos éxitos. Así continuó la celebración de ese día, seguimos conversando, riéndonos, viendo las luces y algo nuevo que pude presenciar es que llego un punto donde todos estaban metidos en el teléfono, fue especie de una reunión virtual, seria, no lo sé, pero eso no afecto nada y continuamos con el compartir en familia.
When midnight of the 31st arrived, it was the most awaited moment for all of us, since it allowed us to say happy new year to each other, hugging, kissing and best wishes to start this new year full of many successes. So the celebration continued that day, we continued talking, laughing, watching the lights and something new that I could witness is that there came a point where everyone was on the phone, it was kind of a virtual meeting, serious, I do not know, but that did not affect anything and we continued with the family sharing.
Al llegar a nuestra casa, ya era un poco tarde, pero entre los amigos de mi urbanización nos pusimos de acuerdo y nos fuimos para su casa para seguir celebrando con ellos el año nuevo, donde nos pusimos a jugar play, comer nuevamente y sobre todo conversar un poco. A pesar de que no nos pudimos reunir todos los amigos de la urbanización, la pasamos bien, algunos estaban de viajes, otros con su familia o simplemente se acostaron a dormir.
When we arrived at our house, it was already a little late, but among the friends of my urbanization we agreed and we went to their house to continue celebrating the new year with them, where we started to play play games, eat again and above all talk a little. Although we could not gather all the friends of the urbanization, we had a good time, some were traveling, others with their families or just went to bed to sleep.
Fueron dos noches maravillosas que pudimos pasar en familia, ambas estuvieron cargadas de mucho amor y se mantuvo la tradición de poder reunirnos, a pesar de que la familia no estaba completa, por motivos que se escapan de nuestras manos. Le doy gracias a Dios por poder compartir con mi familia estos momentos. Así que amigos les deseo un feliz año nuevo y que se cumplan cada una de sus metas y objetivos que se propongan. Éxitos y prosperidad para todos, abrazos.
They were two wonderful nights that we were able to spend as a family, both were full of love and the tradition of being able to get together was maintained, even though the family was not complete, for reasons that are out of our hands.
