Siento mucha gratitud, por la vida y me encanta celebrarla, sobre todo cuando se trata de esos seres tan especiales, que hacen que nuestros días sean mejores. En esta oportunidad fue el turno de María Edita, mi suegra, una persona con un espíritu tan alegre y joven que me causa mucha admiración. Me encanta, esa manera tan positiva para afrontar los obstáculos del día a día.
Septiembre fue un mes lleno de muchas emociones familiares, me devaste ante la pérdida de mi tía y, aunque el dolor sigue presente, tuvimos momentos en familia que me llenaron de inmensa alegría. Cuando estás en esa montaña rusa de sentimientos, recuerdas lo efímera que es la vida, por eso, aunque sea más fácil escribirlo que hacerlo, debemos dar lo mejor de cada uno de nosotros y aprovecharla de la mejor manera posible, pero más allá de aprovechar el tiempo, que se va y no regresa, debemos aprovechar a las personas, a nuestra familia y amigos. Abrazar más, hablar más, reír más, vivir más y celebrar los cumpleaños es una gran oportunidad para compartir y generar recuerdos.
I feel a lot of gratitude for life and I love to celebrate it, especially when it comes to those special people who make our days better. This time it was the turn of Maria Edita, my mother-in-law, a person with such a cheerful and young spirit that causes me much admiration. I love her positive way of facing the obstacles of everyday life.
September was a month full of many family emotions, I was devastated by the loss of my aunt and, although the pain is still present, we had moments as a family that filled me with immense joy. When you are on that roller coaster of feelings, you remember how ephemeral life is, that is why, although it is easier to write it than to do it, we must give the best of each of us and take advantage of it in the best possible way, but beyond taking advantage of time, which goes away and does not return, we must take advantage of people, our family and friends. Hugging more, talking more, laughing more, living more and celebrating birthdays is a great opportunity to share and generate memories.

La cumpleañera de este mes, es de esas personas que te llenan de energía y que, si te ven cabizbajo, hará todo lo posible para hacerte sonreír y comenzar de nuevo. Por eso, este cumpleaños no podía pasar por alto, y planeamos entre todos un bonito encuentro.
A ella, le encanta el pasticho, y tenía mucho tiempo sin comer uno, en realidad todos teníamos muchas ganas de probar uno, entonces cada uno de nosotros aportó económicamente para comprar los ingredientes y yo me ofrecí a prepararlo, pero no me puedo llevar todo el crédito porque mi pequeño hijo, como siempre, quiso ayudarme y nos divertimos mucho durante todo el proceso.
This month's birthday girl is one of those people who fills you with energy and, if she sees you downcast, she will do everything possible to make you smile and start again. So, this birthday could not be overlooked, and we all planned a nice get-together.
She loves lasagna , and she had a long time without eating one, actually we all really wanted to try one, so each of us contributed financially to buy the ingredients and I offered to prepare it, but I can't take all the credit because my little son, as always, wanted to help me and we had a lot of fun during the whole process.

Mientras yo preparaba el almuerzo, mis cuñadas salieron a comprar la torta y también un par de cervezas, que caían de maravilla, ya que el día estaba caluroso. Cuando todo estuvo listo, logramos sentarnos a la mesa y compartir en familia este rico almuerzo.
While I was preparing lunch, my sisters-in-law went out to buy the cake and also a couple of beers, which were great since it was a hot day. When everything was ready, we were able to sit at the table and share this delicious lunch as a family.

Después de almorzar, escuchamos música, y pasamos la tarde. Mientras tanto, los niños jugaban y bailaban, ellos son los que más disfrutan de estas reuniones familiares. Eso sí, estaban muy ansiosos por cantar el cumpleaños.

Al finalizar la noche, llegó el momento de cantar y la cumpleañera pudo pedir un deseo al soplar la vela. Espero de corazón que su deseo se haga realidad y que pueda seguir cumpliendo muchos años más, llenos de salud y vida, para que pueda seguir llenando de amor a sus nietos.
En serio, vale la pena, unir esfuerzos y planear días así con tus seres queridos. No importa si nadie cumple años, lo importante, es pasar tiempo de calidad, y el tiempo que pasas con tu familia, siempre será tu mejor inversión.
At the end of the evening, it was time to sing and the birthday girl was able to make a wish by blowing out the candle.
