Amigoooos 🤗 I MISSED YOU A LOT 🤗... I was lost this weekend because I gave myself a little space to go share with my beloved family and my dear friends in the wonderful fairs of my hometown Punta de Mata in honor of the Virgen del Valle 🙏 the truth was 3 unforgettable days where I danced, went to mass, laughed a lot, ate divine and spent valuable quality time with my loved ones 🤗 but now I'm back and more active than ever to share my experiences with you!
Cada 8 de septiembre se celebra el día de nuestra querida Virgen del Valle 🙏 motivo por el cuál se acostumbra a celebrar 8 días de ferias, empezando desde el 1 de septiembre y culminando el 8 o 9 de septiembre... Pero a raíz de tantos problemas sociales, económicos y de salud de mi país Venezuela 🇻🇪 éstas ferias tenían 12 años sin celebrarse, y este año el nuevo Alcalde de la ciudad asumió el compromiso de celebrar nuevamente las fiestas y empezó arreglando desde cero el famoso parque ferial programando así 4 días de fiestas! Porsupuesto, desde que me enteré yo quise ir y planifique junto a mi familia para ir el día 8 y el día 9 de septiembre, viernes y sábado respectivamente!
Every September 8 is celebrated the day of our beloved Virgen del Valle 🙏 reason why it is customary to celebrate 8 days of fairs, starting from September 1 and culminating on 8 or 9 September... But because of so many social, economic and health problems in my country Venezuela 🇻🇪 these fairs had 12 years without being celebrated, and this year the new Mayor of the city took the commitment to celebrate the festivities again and started fixing from scratch the famous fairgrounds thus scheduling 4 days of festivities! Of course, since I heard about it I wanted to go and I planned with my family to go on September 8th and 9th, Friday and Saturday respectively!
Empezamos el día viernes 8 con un hermoso amanecer de fuegos artificiales en honor a la Virgen del Valle Y a las 6 de la mañana me fuí con mi mamá y con mi esposo a celebrar la santa misa en la iglesia, y más tarde a las 4 pm me fuí a la ciudad de Punta de Mata con mi mamá y con mis niñas... Yo iba feliz y muy emocionada porque eran muchos años sin disfrutar de éstas hermosas fiestas... Pero, también iba un poco triste porque mi esposo no me pudo acompañar, ya que le tocó estar de guardia justamente todo este fin semana, así que el se fué a su comando!
We started on Friday the 8th with a beautiful sunrise with fireworks in honor of the Virgin of the Valley. And at 6 am I went with my mom and my husband to celebrate the holy mass in the church, and later at 4 pm I went to the city of Punta de Mata with my mom and my girls... I was happy and very excited because it had been many years without enjoying these beautiful festivities... But, I was also a little sad because my husband could not accompany me, since he had to be on duty just this weekend, so he went to his command!
Llegamos a Punta de Mata a las 6 de la tarde, aproximadamente, porque no había mucho transporte! Allá llegué directo a bañarme Y a arreglarme para irme con mis tías y con mis primas a las ferias a las 7 de la noche! Así que me arreglé y quedé hermosa 😁 me fuí y mis niñas quedaron felices haciendo una pijamada en casa de mi hermana Luisa con ella y con mis sobrinas!
We arrived at Punta de Mata at 6 in the afternoon, approximately, because there was not much transportation! There I went straight to take a bath and get ready to go with my aunts and cousins to the fairs at 7 pm! So I got dressed up and looked beautiful 😁 I left and my girls were happy making a sleepover at my sister Luisa's house with her and my nieces!
Llegamos primero al estadio de la ciudad en dónde se acostumbra a celebrar la santa misa de la Virgen! Allí estaba casi toda mi familia reunida! Así que disfrutamos de la misa y de un show maravilloso de fuegos artificiales, y ya luego nos fuimos todos al parque ferial a disfrutar de los artistas que iban ese día! Ya en el parque ferial empecé a tomar lindas fotos de todooo! Y también hice un recorrido por todo el lugar encontrandome con viejos amigos, los cuáles tenía muchos años sin ver!
We arrived first at the city's stadium where it is customary to celebrate the Holy Mass of the Virgin! Almost all my family was there! So we enjoyed the mass and a wonderful fireworks show, and then we all went to the fairground to enjoy the artists that were going that day! Once at the fairground I started taking beautiful pictures of everything! And I also made a tour around the whole place meeting old friends, which I had not seen for many years!
Esa noche fue realmente maravillosa para mí, ya que tenía mucho tiempo sin revivir éstos maravillosos momentos con mi familia y con mis amigos! Bailé muchísimo, rei demasiado, compartí con todos y disfruté de los artistas, especialmente de la Orquesta de Billo's Caracas...
That night was really wonderful for me, as I had a long time without reliving these wonderful moments with my family and friends! I danced a lot, laughed a lot, shared with everyone and enjoyed the artists, especially the Billo's Caracas Orchestra...
Ya a las 4 de la madrugada nos fuimos a descansar, esa noche yo me quedé en casa de mi prima y comadre Braicelys, ella estaba encantada de recibirme! Llegamos a hablar otro rato, luego a bañarnos y dormir!!! Yo muy feliz de haber pasado un maravilloso e inolvidable Viernes 8 de septiembre!!!
At 4 in the morning we went to rest, that night I stayed at my cousin and comadre Braicelys' house, she was delighted to receive me! We came to talk for a while, then we went to take a bath and go to sleep! I was very happy to have spent a wonderful and unforgettable Friday September 8th!!!
