El año pasado vi la Caracas Blockchain Week desde lejos, no tuve la oportunidad de ir; sin embargo, en este año sí logré asistir.

Verán, Caracas es la capital de mi país, Venezuela. En comparación a donde yo vivo, un pueblo llamado San Felipe. Viajando en carro, el viaje tiene una duración de unas 4 horas, dependiendo del tráfico.

Pues bien, este año conté con la ayuda de una amiga hiver que me colaboró para encontrar hospedaje y que también me sirvió de guía turística en esta gran ciudad, Hive account@dayadam. Fue con ella quien logré llegar al evento pues no tenía idea de a donde ir una vez llegase al terminal de pasajeros de Caracas.

Last year I saw Caracas Blockchain Week from afar, I did not have the opportunity to go; however, this year I did manage to attend.

You see, Caracas is the capital of my country, Venezuela. In comparison to where I live, a town called San Felipe. Traveling by car, the trip takes about 4 hours, depending on traffic.

Well, this year I counted with the help of a friend hiver who helped me to find lodging and who also served me as a tour guide in this great city, Hive account@dayadam. It was with her that I managed to get to the event because I had no idea where to go once I arrived at the passenger terminal in Caracas.

Debo aclarar que a ella tampoco la conocía en persona, así como tampoco conocía a muchos hivers que vería en el evento, así que por fin tuve el privolegio, una gran artesana y una gran persona a la que estimo mucho.

Bien, nos embarcamos en los buses de esta gran ciudad y finalmente llegamos a este lugar, uno muy grande y muy bonito, ya les hablaré de este después, hoy nos concentraremos en las amistades virtuales que al fin pude conocer en persona.

Al llegar al evento me registré y tomé unas cuantas fotos a los stand que habían. Todo muy bonito y encantador.

I must clarify that I did not know her in person either, just as I did not know many hivers that I would see at the event, so I finally had the privilege, a great craftswoman and a great person whom I esteem very much.

Well, we embarked on the buses of this great city and finally arrived at this place, a very big and very nice one, I will tell you about it later, today we will concentrate on the virtual friendships that I finally got to meet in person.

Arriving at the event I registered and took a few pictures of the booths that were there. All very nice and charming.

Las primeras hivers con las que me encontré en el evento fue con dos conocidas en otros meetup, Hive account@zullyscot y Hive account@luvilozada. Aunque no pude tomarme una foto con ellas, pues estabab muy ocupadas de allá para acá y de acá para allá, estaré pendiente de hacerlo en el segundo día.

Precisamente fue en el stand de hive donde las encontré.

The first hivers I met at the event were two of my acquaintances from other meetups, Hive account@zullyscot and Hive account@luvilozada. Although I couldn't take a picture with them, as they were too busy going back and forth, I'll be looking forward to do it on the second day.

It was precisely at the hive booth where I found them.

Ya luego comencé a encontrar al montón de hivers que allí estaban. A muchos los reconocí y a otros simplemente no los conocía.

Por ejenplo finalmente conocí al popular Hive account@frankches, con su característico atuendo y a Hive account@karelysk89, con su llamativo cabello rojo.

También conocí a Cristina, o como yo le digo por cariño, la loca de los gatos (Hive account@actioncats). Fue grato verla y apenas nos vimos la llamé con mucha emoción para conocernos.

Then I started to meet the many hivers that were there. Many of them I recognized and others I simply didn't know.

For example, I finally met the popular Hive account@frankches, with his characteristic outfit and Hive account@karelysk89, with her striking red hair.

I also met Cristina, or as I affectionately call her, the crazy cat lady (Hive account@actioncats). It was great to see her and as soon as we met I excitedly called her to meet her.

Conversé mucho con ellos, son geniales y tal como imaginé que serían.

I talked to them a lot, they are great and just as I imagined they would be.

Posteriormente podría conversar brevemenre con el seño Hive account@ylich, con quien colaboro en la colmena.

Pensé en saludarlo antes pero estaba ocupado en otros sitios así que cuando estuvo solo y lo tuve al frente le estreche la mano para presentarme. No dudé en tomarne una foto también.

Afterwards I could talk briefly with Mr. Hive account@ylich, with whom I collaborate in the hive.

I thought about greeting him before but he was busy elsewhere so when he was alone and I had him in front of me I shook his hand to introduce myself. I didn't hesitate to take a picture too.

También tuve encuentros con otros usuarios que me trajeron mucha nostalgia, pues tiempo atrás en discord habían muchos programas en los cuales participar y uno que recuerdo con mucho cariño es "Aqui se habla de Rock, dirigido por Hive account@orimusic en el pukumundo, comunidad que era dirigida por Hive account@nahupuku.

A los dos finalmente pude conocerlos, los dos fueron muy amables y ciertamente me sentí muy contento de verlos en persona. Quería mucho tener uns foto con este par.

Y hubo otra chica con quien también tuve el privilegio de conversar y fue con Hive account@darkfemme. La conocía de antes, de hecho solía acompañarnos hasta tarde en el programa que les mencioné de Orimusic, el cual duraba hasta las 3/4 de la madrugada, escuchando rock y compartiendo entre amigos, pero de manera virtual. En esta ocasión, logramos compartir de manera presencial.

I also had meetings with other users that brought me a lot of nostalgia, because some time ago in discord there were many programs in which to participate and one that I remember fondly is "Aqui se habla de Rock, led by Hive account@orimusic in the pukumundo, community that was led by Hive account@nahupuku.

I finally got to meet both of them, they were both very nice and I was certainly happy to see them in person. I really wanted to have a photo with this pair.

And there was another girl I also had the privilege of chatting with and that was Hive account@darkfemme. I knew her from before, in fact she used to join us until late at the Orimusic show I mentioned, which lasted until 3/4 in the morning, listening to rock and sharing with friends, but in a virtual way. On this occasion, we were able to share in person.

Ya casi de casualidad, logré ver a Hive account@mayvil , una chica muy encantadora que apenas la vi no dude en saludar y presentarme. La conversación también fue breve pero ahí estaba yo, presentandome con otra lider de comunidad de hive. Por supuesto le pedí una foto.

Almost by chance, I managed to see Hive account@mayvil, a very charming girl that as soon as I saw her I did not hesitate to say hello and introduce myself. The conversation was also brief but there I was, introducing myself with another hive community leader. Of course I asked her for a picture.

Como ven, el primero de estos dos días que estaré en la CBW me concentré en los amigos hivers, a quienes tenía muchos deseos de conocer.

Una experiencia realmente agradable, a ver qué nos depara el segundo día.

As you can see, the first of these two days that I will be at CBW I concentrated on the hivers friends, whom I was very eager to meet.

A really nice experience, let's see what the second day has in store for us.
