Feliz viernes para todos, espero que se encuentren bien con la ayuda de Dios. Sigo compartiendo algunos de mis momentos más significativos del pasado fin de semana. En esta ocasión se trata de poder estar con mis hermanas y disfrutar del banquete espiritual que se nos preparó.

Happy Friday to everyone, I hope you are all well with God's help. I continue to share some of my most meaningful moments from last weekend. This time, it's about being able to be with my sisters and enjoy the spiritual feast that was prepared for us.

Mi hermana Enedina quién por mucho tiempo ha estado muy enferma al punto de depender en casi todo los sentidos de los demás, actualmente está al cuidado de mi hermana Elida. Por su problemas graves de salud y su impedimento de caminar, casi nunca puede salir a estos eventos.

My sister Enedina, who has been very ill for a long time to the point of depending on others in almost every way, is currently being cared for by my sister Elida. Due to her serious health problems and her inability to walk, she is almost never able to attend these events.

Sin embargo, era tanto el deseo de su corazón que Dios se lo concedió, claro esto requiere de mucho esfuerzo por parte de ella y del apoyo familiar y de amigos para hacerlo posible. Lo cierto es que se lograron los objetivos. Aquí la vemos luciendo feliz con su blusa roja y su bucles que la hacen lucir radiante, aunque su cuerpo está lleno de dolor.

However, her heart's desire was so strong that God granted it to her, although this requires a lot of effort on her part and the support of family and friends to make it possible. The truth is that the objectives were achieved. Here we see her looking happy in her red blouse and curls that make her look radiant, even though her body is in pain.

Como sus hermanas nos sentimos complacidas por haber hecho todo lo posible para que ella pudiera asistir, y que pudiera recibir el cariño de las personas que con tanta emoción se acercaron a saludarla y a reír con ella. Verla así es algo que particularmente me hace muy feliz, ya que la mayoría de sus días son tan difíciles que veo esta oportunidad como una compensación a todo su dolor.

Like her sisters, we are pleased to have done everything possible to enable her to attend and receive the affection of the people who came to greet her and laugh with her with such emotion. Seeing her like this makes me particularly happy, as most of her days are so difficult that I see this opportunity as compensation for all her pain.

Solo Dios conoce los detalles de su situación y lo triste que es para ella tener que lidiar con tantas situaciones al mismo tiempo. Es cuestión de ser empático y ponerse en sus zapatos para llegar a tener la más mínima idea de cuál es su lucha a diario.

Only God knows the details of her situation and how sad it is for her to have to deal with so many things at once. It's a matter of being empathetic and putting yourself in her shoes to get even the slightest idea of what her daily struggle is like.

Es verdad, y lo digo por experiencia propia, a veces quisiéramos poder decir estoy bien, sin tener que mentir para complacer a otros. Nosotros mismos llegamos a agotarnos por la situación. El desgaste es tanto físico como emocional, pero en su caso ella hace su mejor esfuerzo para animar a otros, ser entusiasta y hasta a veces divertida, dándoles a los demás motivos para sonreír.

It's true, and I speak from experience, sometimes we wish we could say we're fine without having to lie to please others. We ourselves become exhausted by the situation. The wear and tear is both physical and emotional, but in her case, she does her best to cheer others up, be enthusiastic, and even funny at times, giving others reasons to smile.

Tener un familiar en estas condiciones no es tarea fácil, implica mucho de nuestras energías, tiempo y paciencia, por eso le ruego a diario a mi Dios para que le de la fortaleza y las fuerzas a mi hermana Elida para que pueda brindarle toda la ayuda que ella necesita. Es un acto de verdadero amor hacerlo.

Having a family member in these conditions is not an easy task; it takes a lot of our energy, time, and patience, which is why I pray to God every day to give my sister Elida the strength and fortitude she needs so that I can provide her with all the help she needs. It is an act of true love to do so.

En mi caso puedo decir que me ha tocado estar en las dos posiciones, ser cuidadora y ser la paciente, ambos casos son difíciles de sobrellevar, se requiere de buena actitud y querer mantener un ambiente acorde para ambas partes. Es por eso que poder estar con mis dos hermanas en este día, es algo que sigo agradeciendo a Dios, porque definitivamente, él es quien lo hace posible.

In my case, I can say that I have been in both positions, as a caregiver and as a patient. Both situations are difficult to cope with and require a positive attitude and a desire to maintain a harmonious environment for both parties. That is why I continue to thank God for being able to be with my two sisters on this day, because He is definitely the one who makes it possible.
