Esta semana fue un poco movida, mi esposo no se había estado sintiendo bien y con la ayuda de nuestro amado hijo Jonathan fue posible hacerle un estudio que arrojó como resultado dos hernias, las cuales hay que operar lo más pronto posible porque le están provocando mucho dolor.

Hello, my dear Hivers, happy Sunday to all, I hope you are well. This week was a bit hectic. My husband had not been feeling well, and with the help of our beloved son Jonathan, we were able to get him tested, which revealed two hernias that need to be operated on as soon as possible because they are causing him a lot of pain.

La noticia cayó como un balde de agua fría, mi esposo está bastante nervioso y le aterra entrar a un quirófano, esa noticia lo tiene algo abrumado y preocupado. Sin embargo, eso no sirvió de obstáculo para salir en familia a un lugar muy especial, pues nos reunimos muchas personas que sentimos un profundo amor por Dios y por el prójimo.

The news came as a shock. My husband is quite nervous and terrified of going into surgery. The news has left him feeling overwhelmed and worried. However, that didn't stop us from going out as a family to a very special place, where we gathered with many people who feel a deep love for God and for their neighbors.

El día sirvió para compartir con amigos, reir y olvidarnos un poco de la situación que como familia nos ha tenido un poco inquietos. La enseñanza estuvo extraordinaria, nos sirvió para animarnos y entender que en algún momento llegan situaciones que no son deseadas pero que tenemos que resolver de la mejor manera.

The day was spent sharing with friends, laughing, and forgetting a little about the situation that has had us a bit uneasy as a family. The teaching was extraordinary. It helped us to cheer up and understand that sometimes situations arise that are undesirable but that we have to resolve in the best way possible.

Fué un día lleno de sorpresas, pues nos encontramos con personas que nos alegran la vida y que sus luchas diarias no hacen ver su valentía. Adicional a eso nos dejamos envolver por un ambiente de mucho amor y paz, esa paz que a veces necesitamos para sobrellevar los problemas que se presentan.

It was a day full of surprises, as we met people who brighten our lives and whose daily struggles do not diminish their courage. In addition to that, we were enveloped in an atmosphere of love and peace, the kind of peace we sometimes need to cope with the problems that arise.

En mi caso he sentido mucho dolor en mi columna y el hecho de estar sentada hoy muchas horas agudizó más mi dolor, pero debo decir que aún así me sentí muy feliz, las fotos lo demuestran. Tenemos que ser fuertes y apartar en ocasiones nuestras dolencias a un lado y dar paso a momentos de alegría que sirven como compensación por los malos ratos.

In my case, I have been experiencing a lot of pain in my spine, and sitting for many hours today made my pain worse, but I must say that even so, I felt very happy, as the photos show. We have to be strong and sometimes put our ailments aside and make way for moments of joy that serve as compensation for the bad times.

Debemos aprovechar cada oportunidad como si fuera la última, abrazar y querer a todas esas personas que nos rodean y que de seguro también cargan con su madero de tormento, pero no se rinden, más bien lo siguen intentando, y éste día fue una demostración de eso.

We must seize every opportunity as if it were our last, embrace and love all those around us who surely also carry their own cross of torment, but do not give up, rather keep trying, and this day was a demonstration of that.
