Primero que nada quiero desearles a todos un feliz año nuevo 2023, a pesar de que ya han pasado trece (13) días del mes de Enero, aun quedan 12 meses por delante del cual espero este cargado de prosperidad, abundancia y sobre todo mucha salud. Fue un año con muchos altos y bajos, donde el trabajo fue arduo sobre todo en los últimos meses del año, hasta el día 31 de diciembre estuve creando contenido para Hive, por lo que decidí tomarme dos semanas de vacaciones en Hive y hoy quiero contarles como me fue esos días.
First of all I want to wish you all a happy new year 2023, although thirteen (13) days of January have already passed, there are still 12 months ahead which I hope will be full of prosperity, abundance and above all a lot of health. It was a year with many ups and downs, where the work was hard especially in the last months of the year, until December 31 I was creating content for Hive, so I decided to take two weeks of vacation in Hive and today I want to tell you how I did those days.

Mi año cerro con la recomendación de una película que siempre disfruto el primer día del año y con ello les desee un feliz año; creo que es primera vez que me ausento tanto tiempo de la plataforma, pero sinceramente era necesario. Entonces, despedí el año 2022 junto a mi familia, mis padres y hermana en una pequeña cena con el tradicional plato navideño, para esperar la media noche y con ello salir a la calle a desearles el feliz año a los vecinos, ya como a eso de las 2am me fui a dormir.
My year closed with the recommendation of a movie that I always enjoy on the first day of the year and with it I wished you a happy new year; I think it is the first time that I am absent for so long from the platform, but honestly it was necessary. Then, I said goodbye to the year 2022 with my family, my parents and sister in a small dinner with the traditional Christmas dish, to wait for midnight and then go out to the street to wish a happy new year to the neighbors, and at about 2am I went to sleep.
Ya para cuando amaneció más o menos a eso de las 9am decidí salir un rato a compartir con mi familia y pasear por la ciudad; la verdad es que todo se encontraba muy solo y la mayoría de los establecimientos cerrados. Salimos poco a poco paseando por la ciudad, fuimos hacia el este de la ciudad y llegamos al paseo Juan Iribarren, el cual es como una plaza donde las personas llegan a tomarse fotos, pasar un rato, conversar e incluso por la noche llegan grupos a cantar. Después de allí, nos dirigimos hacia el Centro Comercial Sambil para pasear un rato y disfrutar de un almuerzo en familia.
By the time dawn came around 9am I decided to go out for a while to share with my family and walk around the city; the truth is that everything was very lonely and most of the establishments were closed. We went out little by little walking around the city, we went towards the east of the city and arrived at the Juan Iribarren promenade, which is like a square where people come to take pictures, hang out, talk and even at night groups come to sing. After there, we headed to the Sambil Mall to walk around for a while and enjoy lunch with the family.
Ya para el día dos (02) de Enero me encamine en la ardua tarea de pintar y limpiar el cuarto, por supuesto con la ayuda de mi hermana y su perro Apolo jajajaja; aparte de ello también había que hacer unos arreglos de albañilería, lo que nos tomo toda la semana, hasta el día viernes seis (06). Pero la verdad, es que estos arreglos serian porque el día sábado llegaría una visita muy esperada, que nos hacía mucha ilusión recibir y era mi prima que después de cuatro años de haber emigrado a Bogotá Colombia por fin nos visitaba, pero por pocos días.
By the second (02) of January I started the arduous task of painting and cleaning the room, of course with the help of my sister and her dog Apolo hahahaha; apart from that we also had to make some masonry repairs, which took us the whole week, until Friday six (06). But the truth is that these arrangements would be because on Saturday a long awaited visit would arrive, which we were very excited to receive and it was my cousin who after four years of having emigrated to Bogota Colombia finally visited us, but for a few days.
Era una visita sorpresa para mi tío y muchos familiares, incluso unos nos pudieron ir hasta la casa de mi tío a compartir; la verdad es que fue un excelente tiempo de calidad que nos hacía mucha falta y lo mejor aun es que ella se fue soltera y regreso casada, entonces queríamos brindarle la mejor de las bienvenidas. Así que preparamos un compartir al mejor estilo venezolano, sopa, pollo asado, paseos por los puntos más estratégicos de la ciudad como centros comerciales, el parque el Cardenalito, Cabudare, santa rosa, entre otros.
It was a surprise visit for my uncle and many relatives, even some of us could go to my uncle's house to share; the truth is that it was an excellent quality time that we really needed and the best thing is that she was single and came back married, so we wanted to give her the best welcome. So we prepared a sharing in the best Venezuelan style, soup, roast chicken, walks through the most strategic points of the city such as shopping malls, the Cardenalito Park, Cabudare, Santa Rosa, among others.
Ya después de varios días de estar con ellos, llego el momento más duro y fue la despedida, ese día llegamos temprano a un Centro Comercial que está ubicado en los alrededores del Terminal de Autobuses de Barquisimeto para compartir un helado y luego verlos partir, la verdad es que tener que ver a nuestros seres queridos partir es muy doloroso.
After several days of being with them, the hardest moment came and it was the farewell, that day we arrived early to a shopping center that is located in the vicinity of the Bus Terminal of Barquisimeto to share an ice cream and then watch them leave, the truth is that having to see our loved ones leave is very painful.
Finalmente ya hoy retomo mis actividades cotidianas en Hive, esto fue lo que hice durante estas dos semanas que me tome libre y el lunes me reincorporo a mi trabajo en la institución. Ya para despedirme quiero agradecer a quienes siempre leen mis publicaciones, de igual manera me encantaría poder leer en los comentarios las actividades que han realizado en estas dos primeras semanas del año 2023.
Finally today I return to my daily activities in Hive, this is what I did during these two weeks that I took off and on Monday I will return to my work in the institution.
