Originally from Caduawan, Tabogon, Cebu, we relocated here at Tuburan due to work reasons.
Since then, we have been visited by friends and families here in Tuburan since this town is home to a lot of tourist spots especially cold springs, beautiful beaches and mountain views.
From our hometown, Caduawan, Tabogon, Cebu they travelled almost two hours to reach Molobolo Spring, Brgy. Molobolo here in Tuburan, Cebu, Philippines.
MOLOBOLO SPRING in Brgy. Molobolo, Tuburan, Cebu, Philippines is a well-known cold spring which has a very affordable entrance fee of ₱20.00 per head where you can enjoy the cold spring or the beach if it is which you prefer more.
In our hometown in Tabogon, we also have a famous cold spring which is Banyan Spring but the entrance fee is priced at ₱180.00 each, which is quite expensive unlike here at Molobolo Spring which is ₱20.00 each.
There may be visible differences but it all depends on which cold spring you want to go to which fits your budget and your options.
As for us now that we are living here in Tuburan, Molobolo Spring is the most accessible cold spring for us.
Since our friends visited us here, we want to showcase to them the wonderful spots our second home has to offer.
Molobolo Cold Spring Waters
If you are gonna ask my two cents, the water in Banyan Spring is quite more pristine than this of Molobolo Spring. I have been there and made separate blogs about Banyan also and on the photos attached you can clearly see the difference of each. As for us, it serves the same purpose though, to provide a cool and relaxing feeling to us swimmers.
We rented some tables for ₱200 just below this establishment which has an unfunctional pool where we can clearly see the beachfront.
This is what the beach front of Molobolo Spring looks like.
I really love to stay here at the beach front especially when the sun is about to set. It really looks so magical and it can take all your worries away.
Whenever it is just the three of us, we also tend to visit Molobolo quite often as we are such a fan of the beach. My son loves to swim here at Molobolo because he enjoys the cold waters.
Here are our friends enjoying their experience here at Molobolo Spring.
Here are some group photos we had while we enjoyed drinking at the beachfront.
I really look forward to moments like these as it is a time to bond and talk about so much in life as we enjoy each other's company.
For our foods, we had some grilled foods and ceviche. The boys were in charge of all the cooking and here are the foods they prepared.
CEVICHE
The boys prepared some ceviche or in Cebuano dish we call this "kinilaw nga bulinaw" which consists of raw fish, some tomatoes and onion.
We really love to eat kinilaw especially when at the beach. It is best when it is added an ample amount of chili to highlight the spice.
GRILLED PORK
The boys also cooked some grilled pork which we marinated with soy sauce and oyster sauce. I don't know the scientific explanation but grilled foods tastes ten times good when eaten at the beach-side. Agree?😂
GRILLED FISH
For our grilled fish we chose this sardines or in Cebuano dish we call this "sinugbang tamban" because this fish is probably one of the cheapest fishes to grill and it also tastes good at the same time.
This gathering is not a grand one, therefore we look forward to saving money by buying affordable foods to enjoy with. After all, it is not about how grand the preparations are but the thought about being gathered together and enjoying meals as a group.
Also, we needed to allocate money for the liquor since we also drank some rum and coke.
Overall, it was such a fun experience being able to host such visit here in Moalboal with our Caduawan friends. They did enjoyed their experience and they are looking forward to visit us back here in Tuburan and try to visit other famous places here such as the Blue Hole, Mantawihan Spring, Marmol Cliff, Atabay Peak and Tuburan 360.
As for now, we all had a good time here in Moalboal Spring. Til next time! Ciao! 🫰🏻
