Northern Cebu, Philippines has currently been hit by a 6.9 magnitude earthquake and it is a nightmare for everyone especially those who have lost their homes, lost their family members and loved ones. A lot also lost their jobs because the establishments they are working for got severely damaged.
In line with that, people has lost their source of income and some people are really struggling right now. As for us, I can say I am financially okay because I am a public school teacher and so is my mother.
Given that, whenever people help us, it really warms my heart. It makes me feel loved and included and it makes me feel appreciated.
This morning, our aunt and my cousin came all the way from Cebu City to deliver relief goods, rice and water. It really was unexpected and we are all so happy to see them.
Our Tiya Tetet is the sister of our grandfather and alongside with him is her son. They came all the way from Cebu City and traveled via TCH Balamban route to send us the help we need.
They brought relief goods good for ten families— the Ornopias of Purok Nangka, Caduawan, Tabogon, Cebu.
Each family receives a set of: 1 mini sack 5 kilos Lion Ivory rice, water, dried fish and some canned goods.
We are so thankful that they spent time and effort to come over here in northern Cebu to send help.
Family is always such an important thing. Family never leaves family behind.
The earthquake is a clear reminder that one thing matters the most : and that is family. No one helps us during difficult times, just family.
Hoping everyone is safe and sound. Keep safe everyone! Ciao!❤️
