On the 16th of February 1998, a superstar was born and that superstar is me. Kidding aside, after a few months I was born, I was baptized as a Roman Catholic at Blessed Sacrament Parish Church in D. Gaisano St., Tejero, North Reclamation Area, Cebu City, Philippines.
I have seen my nostalgic photos which I have always been keeping on my albums and look at this, a photo of my mom, holding me back when I was just months old getting baptized as a Roman Catholic here in Blessed Sacrament Parish Church.
And finally after almost 25 years, we came back to this church to re-visit and re-live the beautiful moments we once had here in this church. But of course, we were not able to fully really re-create the photo since I grew bigger than my mother.
We went to visit the church back during Holy Week when we did our "Visita Iglesia" and it was one of the best decisions we've ever done. Visiting the church once again means re-visiting my past also.
Back when my mother was younger, she used to work here in Cebu City and it is where she met my biological father, she got pregnant and she decided to have me baptized here in this church since this is the church nearest to the house where she used to live.
The church also has a rehabilitation center open to everyone which was a good thing.
When we went here, the altar was covered with violet cloth since it was the Holy Week. From my baptismal photos, there were a few changes and a few church improvements which happened over the years.
Revisiting the church and taking photos of my mom here is definitely one for the books. I am glad I still have the chance to revisit here with her.
To family and memories! Ciao!❤️
