Hello my dear Hivers of the community. I hope you're all well and safe.
Today, I just want to share a fun and lighthearted moment we had at home recently. My nieces were getting ready for their acquaintance party, and instead of hiring a make-up artist or going to a salon, they decided to do everything by themselves.
It was such a lovely scene. There's laughter everywhere, a few mini arguments about which lipstick shade looked better, and a whole lot of excitement in the air.
My younger sister helped them out, guiding them on how to apply their makeup properly and even styling their hair. It turned our house into an instant beauty salon, haha.
Back in high school, acquaintance party is also one of the activities we look forward to. We don't dress up that much back then, just enjoying the activities and the food we prepared. Unlike now, youths have make up kits already. They can't go out without a lip tint even, lol! Back in the days I even rarely put on a face powder on my face. Now it becomes an essential already.
So, we actually have a few makeup kits and nail polishes lying around,as my younger sister is fond of it. So, they had plenty to experiment with.
They even went all out and had their own pedicure session, pretending to be in a fancy spa.You could just see how happy they were while brushing, blending, curling, and laughing nonstop. At one point, they were even teasing each other’s 'before'and 'after' looks, saying things like, 'Uyyy, artista!' (you look like an actress!) or 'Wait, ikaw ba ‘yan?' (is that you?)
It was really fun watching them bond and help each other. The living room was filled with giggles and the smell of nail polish. Seeing them glow not just because of the makeup, but because they were enjoying each other’s company, made the moment even sweeter.
In the end, they looked beautiful not just because of the makeup, but because of the confidence and happiness they radiated.
That's all for today. Thanks for reading this far. Til my next post!
