Hello there my lovely hivers!!!!
This is what happened after the 6.9 magnitude of earthquake. We can't sleep peacefully, we were scared of the aftershocks so we managed to stay awake. But as the 2:00 am hit the clock, I felt sleepy and decided to take a nap but then it started shaking again. My cousin's were trembling he didn't know what's happening he began to cry. We were all scared and didn't know what do, we just prayed to almighty god that things would be alright and we were just gonna be safe . We were still shock and it hasn't sink in yet that disaster really hit the northern part of Cebu.
On the morning of October 3, 2025 we gathered on my grandma's house. Including the family of my uncle they evacuate in here since their house would collapse at anytime and it would shaken every aftershock. They were scared to stay in their house so they planned if they could stay in here.
This was my uncle, cooking their breakfast. We can't spend our time yet inside our house, and all of the kitchen utensils that we needed they put it outside of their house so its easy for them to use.
We spend most of our time by chit chatting, we can't really process what happened on that night. After that little chit chat, I headed home to eat a breakfast.
My auntie just arrived from states from Cebu and she sends a viand on my grandma's house which included fish and a noodles. My mother gets a couple of food from my grandma's house so we can have one. I'm really grateful and thankful for my auntie who provides us with foods.
At 10:00 am I visit my grandma's house again, we talked with my cousin's and my eyelashes felt itchy so I decided to take off my eyelash extension. I put my extension on my cousin's hand and he was really curious about it, he told me if I could put it in his own eyelashes. I am hesitant at first, but he forced me to do it so I put my used eyelash on his eyelash.
This was the one eyelash I put since it's already dirty. He loved the eyelash i put and she always does the pretty eyes on me.
I spend most of the time by sleeping since I cant sleep peacefully at night it made me anxious to sleep peacefully. When I heard that they cook a "turon" it's a food lumpia wrapper filled with banana. It is covered with sugar to balance the salty ness and the sweetness.
My cousin, didn't sleep until dawn and it made him so sleepy at morning. He sleep until noon and its his first meal on the afternoon he was really hungry and wanted to eat right away as he woke up.
My sister and I felt bored and there's no electricity yet. We found a cards on the table and decided to play tong its. The consequences if we failed to win we would bite a banana leaf one by one if we fail.
Around 1:00 pm we heard a great news that there is a free charging station in our neighbor. They had a solar panel that could consume a lot of cellphone to charge. I was really happy knowing I can already use my phone but then as time went by there were a lot of people kept coming by in here that made the solar panel out of energy. They advised us to came back tomorrow since they ran out of energy from the solar panel and it's just enough for their consumption.
