Hi there, my lovely Hivers!I Hope you're all doing great. For this blog, I'm excited to share how we met with my college besties.
The First Day of School
I had a friend accompany me on the first day of our school. We talked to each other at the bus stop, it was a coincidence that we bumped into each other. And knowing that we had the same course to take on. We had known each other since elementary.
In the first week of class, we stayed together, but as time passed, she found a new group of friends. I tried to be with them, but I didn’t feel comfortable. I thought they were mean. But I was wrong they were so fun. I wasn’t really interested in socializing with them, so I started to distance myself.
Meeting a New Friend
In our p.e class my childhood friend noticed a girl in our class who always seemed to be alone. She talked to her and asked if she usually had no one to be with, and the girl said yes. But deep inside she doesn't know someone in our class.
I just joined their conversation, I am curious with here so then I found out that we took the same bus home. So we started talking and sharing stuff about ourselves.
After our class, we took a walk to the pantalan(port) to get to know each other better, and from then onwards, we became very close. I still consider my childhood friend and her newly found friends, but I always feel I don't belong there.
This has been my way of making it difficult to find close friends, even in the previous group of friends. They didn’t know me well, and I failed to connect with them.
Finding the New Group
Making friends in college wasn’t too hard for me as I like smiling and listening to my classmates when they talk to me, and I always try to show that I’m interested.
Weeks passed, and I met yet another group who were fun and welcoming. I soon became close to one of them, and the whole group accepted me and my friend.
After our school we decided to walk on the pantalan enjoying the fresh air while talking about stuff. I was really very ecstatic because finally, I had new friends with whom I felt comfortable.
From that day, we started doing many things together; we used to study in the library, spend time sharing some gossip during break time, and help each other out with the school stuff. I wasn't expecting such wonderful friends.
I have found college friends. Happy people who make themselves available to you, and I look forward to more wonderful days with them.
